Robi-Wan Shinobi Erm... that was a joke. There was a meme going around on Twitter where people posted a photo of Locus smiling on the CW stage and basically made inferences about what a wholesome and positive guy he must be. (Look up #Locuslookslike on Twitter) I have no idea what Locus does with the money he wins from tournaments. It's certainly none of my business.
Could you imagine a Locus & Trela doubles team? Also: I think Trela may be looking to pass the torch of best Ryu to Locus. Per his interview in the AMA he's not too interested in trying to be the best Ryu (or at least going to all the majors). EDIT: Trela states on Twitter his 'Smash career is complete'
Trela's last hurrah was deleting MKLeo from Texas, and now I feel like he wants to move on and he sees Locus as the Ryu between Venom, Darkshad, and Locus as the best and one with the most potential.
Ethan Flinner I feel kinda bad about him riding off into the sunset, but if it makes him happy that's good. I've been following and maining Ryu since March last year. I've yet to pay much attention to Venom, Darkshad & DJ Jack. If I wanna eventually become a breakout Ryu I gotta see their playstyles too
Great googly moogly! When the HECK did Zak Bros Team High Intensity Combo Crew University of British Columbia Esports Association Mason "Locus" Charlton get so gosh darn T H I C C ?
Dapuffdaddy 69 Yeah K9 is an asshole, and Zack makes me sick. Hes not cool, hes not a lovable troll, hes just an idiot that thinks mind games are whats gonna make him get far. That dance he does with the whole gay dance shit is so disturbing to watch its unbelievable
lezz go locus! Teach these naifools that up tilt + shoryu is better than up air + up air + rocket shoes xD (I'm trolling. Good stuff Nairo. we still love you.)
I think being able to watch this set right before his helped him a lot in prepping for Locus. Marss is closing the gap but I still got Nairo as the best ZSS.
As of late I'm seeing a lot of lazy fake hype being done by commentators. Let it come organically, don't get loud every time something important happens.
Kameme, Ranai, 6WX, VoiD, Abadango, Leo, Salem, all of my favorites were knocked out early too, but this is still easily the best Smash 4 tournament I've ever seen in my life. What Smash 4 has it going for it compared to all the other Smash games, and arguably other fighting games (don't know much about the other scenes), is diversity. No matter how good a player is anyone can be upset, and this tournament epitomized that.
A For Glory Ryu wouldn't get to top 8 at the most stacked tournament of all time. Hell, a For Glory Ryu wouldn't get to top 8 at his locals. Ryu has way more of a learning curve than ZSS does. :^)
You realize every kill nairo got was identical, right? every single fucking kill was the same. Nairo has one way of getting a stock and if that doesnt work he's fucked. He's an overrated player playing an OP hero.
