Minzy really signed with YG when she was so young, she was a kid and trained for a long time to debut with 2NE1. A lot of these older 2NE1 MVs she was only 16 or 17 years old kind of like Miss A’s Suzy. They were both so young around that time, but Minzy just had such a mature/sexy aura about her at such a young age. That’s why BLACKJACKS and even the members call her the eromaknae! Also, the way she dances is a mixture of sexy and boyish, but that’s why she was my bias in 2NE1. She can be just as powerful as male idols when it comes dancing, but then she add the feminine sexy vibes too. But I also felt that YG just never gave her a chance to grow as an artist. Minzy never got to do a solo song and I won’t count her sub-unit with CL as anything more. She could of done a collab with Lee Hi or with EPIK HIGH or with WINNER/IKON, but NOPE. That’s why she left YG, she also went to finish her education and opened her own dance academy cuz she was “jobless” whenever 2NE1 was on hiatus. So Minzy had to make a hard decision to leave 2NE1 and YG entertainment. Minzy’s solo release was “Ninano” and it’s an upbeat dance kind of track which matches Minzy so well. However, some ppl felt it could of been a more stronger solo debut if she used another song from her mini album. She did perform another song alongside her solo song called, “Superwoman” that shows of her vocals and is a good empowering message. You should react to her solo mini album cuz the b-sides are really good, you will understand why some fans believe she could of released a diff title track. But “Ninano” is a very good too.

I remember when this came out and everyone lost their shit over minzy including myself it was my first comeback with 2ne1 and let's just say they rocked my senior year of high school I wish you could see the making of this mv but it's on 2ne1 tv which aired on MNET , but they have it on youtube also.
