Kenya Ware (Daz Dillinger baby mama) details 2Pac being happy on Death Row Records and having no intentions of leaving the label. #2Pac #SugeKnight #DeathRowRecords
Kenya sounds crazy.."Why would Tupac want to leave Death Row?" The same reason why your damn man wanted to leave and was unhappy with Death Row..All the artists were getting robbed, period.
She on here talking about how his family would get flown out to birthday parties. She acting like PAC wasn’t a celebrity until he came to Death Row SMH
@@dianevrules Just cause they signed those deals don't mean shit, Snoop and the Dogg Pound were ignorant teenagers when they signed those deals and Pac signed the Death Row deal out of desperation, even making Suge his damn manager which is a "conflict of interest " since he was also signed to Suge. It was robbery, you think Afeni was lying when she said Tupac had close to nothing at his death? FOH
Dr.Dre went through it with ruthless records suge was using him as well the facts are there go back to the old interviews go back 2pac wasn't happy at the end that's why he was recording music like crazy
Exactly. Because her “baby daddy” Daz has been saying for the longest how Suge was screwing the artist around. I don’t understand how was she laying in bed with Daz KNOWING his issues with Death Row yet she’s acting like all things were great around that camp. If that was the case none of the artist would’ve left.
2Pac was able to make 3 discs worth of album material, over 100 tracks and 11 music videos all in 9 months, without earning a single royalty. Not to mention the bail money, the legal funds, the security, Afeni’s house, his large cash advance
@@thefreakyrobber0 That was when he had just got outta Prison. He was making albums left and right to get out of his contract but he didn’t know how much he owed Suge coz Suge weren’t being straight with his financials. The facts are there, people who were there and close to Pac tell you the exact same story. You don’t need to be physically there to see what happened.
PLS the man was leaving, he wanted to be a boss not somebodies employee and not on no damn allowance. I hate that this man is not here to tell his own story
@@melvinhhcp3615 Go and watch the Sway interview. It comes out of Tupac's own mouth. 'I see myself having a job and owning stocks at Death Row.' That's exactly what he said.
@@Bullet730 clearly I don't think she knows everything behind the scenes or I wouldn't have made the statement I originally made. I don't think it had anything to do with her being a woman though. If that's the case why was Rage, Jewell, and Michelle on the label and on the inside?
She's delusional on this topic. How would she know those details anyway unless she was side chicking. Plus what she says goes against documented facts including Afeni's legal struggles for Pac's estate.
Right ...so this is just he perspective on how it LOOKED!!! All those things were in Suges name so Pac didnt own any of it ...but Pac was only on Deathrow for 9 months ...so maybe Suge was going to Switch everything to his name ..BUT like you said its documented that all those things were in Suges name
Wait didn't PAC fire David kenner an file a paperwork to get death row audited because PAC wanted his royalties, even Michael Moore PACs other body guard said suge an PAC argument was him leaving an about him dropping makaveli an he was out.
Didn’t he get movie role offers before he was on Death Row? Wasn’t juice etc, before he signed to death row? Suge elevated Dre, snoop, daz, kurrpt etc. 2pac elevated suge and death row .... the other death row artist just weren’t a 2pac, just as Craig Mac, black Rob weren’t a Biggie
I'm so glad that someone is actually spittin the facts about how SUGE actually took care of his artists. There seems to be a lotta people that SUGE helped trying to kick him while he's down.... Great interview!👍
the other Outlaws did say that he wanted to start his own label there is multiple interviews of them saying that he was going to leave so I don't know if they are lying but they saying it out their mouth
I believe he was eventually gonna leave DR but not in 96... maybe in 97 slowly but surely... he had to leave in good graces and prob woulda made sure DR was good without him before he actually left...
His mon wasn't there everyday with him, I doubt he was getting only 5k a week that's a lie. Nate Dogg was featured in All Eyez On Me so Nate needed to be compensated for his work.
Suge paid that crip $60,000. I doubt very highly Suge would pay an enemy in his 20's, given that he ran over 2 people with a Range Rover, in broad daylight, on camera, while on probation, in his 50's.
@@melvinhhcp3615 you obviously don't understand the streets either I' be seen dudes get in shoot outs and go to court to testify on the guys behalf to avoid prison for money streets don't make sense except don't go to jail
Pac was gonna leave Death Row.. he was acting like it was all good... but he was planning on leaving the label.. that's why he was making all those albums so quick!
No he wasn't. He loved Death Row. He knew he was going to die young so he wanted to push his work as fast as he can. Also he wanted to quit rapping and focus more on movies and shit. Pac was in process of creating his own record label called Makaveli/Euthanasia records UNDER Death Row Records. These are all in 2Pacs own worda. Go listen to his interview he said it all himself
Facts because his contract was a 3 album deal. He had to fulfill that contract in order to get his royalty check. Once he left death row, and fought for his master's, he would have made over 100 million dollars just off music alone.
Everybody that speak on him NOT leaving always seems to bring up the good days of him being on the label. In the beginning. But no one and I mean NO ONE seems to bring up him auditing that company and firing David Kenner. Him falling out with Snoop and The Dogg Pound or what certain artist on the label has come out and said they witnessed of him having heated arguments about money. Instead it’s always how PAC was feeling about the label the first 6 months or so. And obviously she’s talking about the beginning because wasn’t that much loyalty for PAC towards the end and WE ALL KNOW THIS!!
Jus because she was around doesn’t mean she is right, if u follow PAC u know he was smart and knew he was on borrowed time at DR in my opinion he definitely wanted to start his own thing. PAC is a leader and he knew SUGE was running everything. I think he knew the BS wasn’t good ,
Quincy Jones's lawyers told Pac that he was being ROBBED. Pac was certainly a leader but he wasn't business savvy. He would've left and probably worked with Quincy until he built his empire. Pac was an Emperor, not a worker.
@@jwallace6158 This is from Wendy Day. Her word in regards to Pac has always been consistent. What she says in these 3 interviews directly parallels with what Pac's family said, also his assistant, Pac himself, and his bodyguard Michael Moore who didn't even like him. Pac died broke so where is the money shes talking about? And shes only daz girlfriend so how she know so much about death row business? Why she asking suge for a car and not Daz?
Another great interview. How thankful we are to Art of Dialogue for continuing to bring great insight to Tupac & you do it with great integrity. Thank you, Art, for continuing to give Tupac a respectful voice & giving us fans such quality content. Forever grateful.
I think what Pac, Snoop and others were getting was just a standard company per diem. And I think items bought with the per diem didn't necessarily have to be itemized and accounted for on your taxes. It could be listed as business/living expenses. So I'm sure Pac and Snoop spent most of that money on weed. That way they weren't withdrawing money from their own accounts for so called "illegal activities". Like buying a pound of weed.
Think pac just wanted to distribute his own label thru death row, he had love and respect for suge. That’s what leaving death row meant. It would be a joint venture
In my opinion if Death Row wasn't cheating pac out his money his mother wouldn't been awarded the lawsuit. Second, for those who say he wasn't going to leave because what she said is mistaken. Sometimes you have to do what you have to until you can see your way out. All those that were super close to him will tell you what he was doing.
Eventually Every Man Wana Run His Own Ish Uma Leave It At That And I Trust Nobody That Was Involved With Pac Rest In Power To The Once Elephant In The Room
You 2pac fanatics are ridiculous. Like none of y’all met the guy. He probably wouldn’t have liked some y’all based off how negative and ignorant y’all are. Chill this woman actually knew the guy. If you don’t believe her cool. But the disrespect is uncalled for.
People who have this opinion of Suge needs to know this. It takes almost a full year to recoup royalties from album sales. The money Pac was spending was basically advances. Death Row at the time was worth over 300 million so Suge didn’t need to steal from Pac. Now the part about wanting to leave Death Row is sketchy only when you think about what Pac was trying to do, but why leave a lot place that was gonna give you the platform to do so and furthermore why leave a place that helped you reach a bigger audience
I watched her previous videos. When she talks about her last conversation with Tupac would show... I'm they were not close. So, how would she know his true intentions. She wouldn't. I don't believe it. His true friends and family knows his real truths. 🤷🏾♀️
2pac had houses but it wasn't even his it was Suge Knights house not too long ago before his mother passed away Rip she even said Tupac died broke so i don't understand
He was owed millions of dollars and his mother said he didn't have much money when he died. Tupac was going to do a joint venture with Quincy Jones label (Quest Records) and he was going to sign Keyshia Cole. Kenya is speaking about Daz advances and royalty checks that he received as a producer, but that has nothing to do with Tupac's money he received. Frank (Tupac's Bodyguard) stated that Tupac used to get a $5000 a week allowance from Suge. She's the wrong person to ask about Tupac's business affairs. Sounds like she doesn't know the ends and outs of the business side of the music biz, she was just in a relationship with Daz. It's not like Pac was having in-depth conversions with her about his business affairs and if he planned to leave the label. Tupac fulfilled his contract and he wanted to move on, but it wasn't that easy. Wendy Day, who helped Birdman get a 30 million dollar deal with Universal stated that Tupac reached out to her to help me get out of his contract with Death Row. She told him just because you fulfilled your contract obligations doesn't mean Suge is going to let you out, it's about how many albums he accepts -he may come back and say, I need you to do one more album. Smh...
She acts like Tupac wasn't a superstar until he came to Death Row. He was already a icon bringing his star to Death Row. Also he might've been happy professionally but he wasn't happy personally 💯 Great work by you Bro as usual!!! 👍🏻👏🏻👊🏻🙏🏻💯
True Dat. That what confuses me that Pac had no money prior to Death Row. Interscope jerk him 4 sure. 3 albums went gold and 1 was platinum and couple of movies which he played a lead role. Then he couldn't bail himself out. Something was foul there.
He was but when got out of Prison, he was way bigger than ever!!! Plus all his money was gone from fighting cases bruh. If he had all that money, he would've gotten his mom or somebody to bail him out🤦🏾♂️
I thought Pac found out a lot of different shit was in his name like Nate Dog’s child support payments and cars for David Kenner. I think Pac found out some shit, fired David Kenner and wanted to use his own people like Yasmeen to handle his business but still keep his ties with Suge
You're right about the 1st half, but Pac believed in absolutes. Either you're for him or against him. He wasn't gonna be cool with somebody that was robbing him for his money.
@@djhaynes99 I never saw that Vanity Fair article. Which one was it? Do you have a link?... Pac fired Kenner for sure. I think that was the same day he turned in his Death Row chain. According to 2PacLegacy . net, he picked up his Euphanasia chain on September 2nd. That means it was being made weeks before then. They went to NY for the MTV Awards on 9/3-9/5. September 5th was when he heard Snoop on Angie Martinez saying he had no problems with Bad Boy. He wanted to confront Snoop, but couldn't find him. He got to Suge instead. They had a heated argument. That's when I think Pac told Suge he wanted off Death Row. He probably said it more harshly & more direct that I'm re-telling this story now. Michael Moore says he had to separate Suge from Pac because he thought Suge was gonna put hands on him. According to another bodyguard Kenny, Pac was quoted as saying he was "a dead man walking" before he got back on the plane to come back to L.A. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ypgyOMIrnpk.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jsVggAvIizs.html The day after that, he did the video for either Toss It Up or I Ain't Mad Atcha, and he also recorded the song for Tyson. Then him Kidada & EDI went to Vegas early on 9/7. Everything else is recorded somewhere. He should've went to Atlanta instead like his instincts told him to do. He went to go negotiate his money, according to Lena Sunday. I'm guessing that white lady lawyer may have been Wendy Day.
To be honest it does feel like suge put them on of form of an allowance or had some form of control because why would you need to go suge to write a cheque to buy yourself a car, that doesn’t make any sense to me. If everybody was getting money and everybody had their own money why do you need the approval and the financial support from suge I don’t understand that 🤷🏾♀️
@@melvinhhcp3615 nah Bruh 2pac burned through his bread fighting his case, no record company would touch him Suge basically cosign for a investment loan. Interscope didn't care about 2pac. It was just away to make money without getting close to the dirt. (Good business move) 🙈🙉🙊
@TheArtofDialogue when are you starting interviewing people of the Badboy camp about Tupac stories. Probably tons of stories about the West vs East Beef.
I don't know why everyone says he was leaving death row suge gave him deathrow east and he was going to start makaveli records under deathrow and if he was so unhappy with suge and deathrow why did he say he wanted to ride with suge in Vegas
About time somebody with common sense talked about this. Pac wasn’t the Boggs to let nobody fuck over him I don’t care who it was so the fact that people believed that shit baffled me. He never said anything about leaving even in his last interview he did he talked about starting Makaveli Records through Deathrow. And Deathrow East!
Most of these people go off emotions rather than logic. Ask em to show one video of 2Pac saying he was leaving Death Row. They'll never be able to produce it.
In one of Pac's last interviews he said even if Suge and him sever ties they'll always continue to do business with each other. He also said that He'll maybe be an A&R or an consultant for Death Row while he's doing Makaveli records etc.
Basically. Pac wasn’t alive long enough to see his royalties come from All Eyez On Me or Makaveli. If he lived past 97, then we would really see if he was cheated. You don’t recoup your money right away
@@lamontjohnson8776 yeah in 97. Meaning, Pac would’ve seen his money come in but since he died. His mother had to sue to get the rights for the music that was out and the music that hasn’t been released yet.
Dimitri Hale he was due to his royalties in late 96 actually and she sued them also for not giving the money that was owed to Tupac (All eyez on me sales) which was supposed to be given to the family in late 96 since pac died
Alot of the artists around death row say Pac was happy, Pacs employees and security within the label say he was preparing to leave. So who's lying? And the people that are lying, why are they lying? What they trying to hide? Her demeanor and body language seems different from her first interviews.
Before Tupac died he was gonna leave death row and become a revolutionary and bring the bloods and crips together as one in California and he had thoughts on running for mayor! Man if that ain’t greatness.
@@fightgamer8311 When it doesn't fit peoples' narrative its called being bias. But when people who weren't even around speak on it and is saying what others want to hear. Those people are being truthful 🙄
I don’t think he would have said something about it, he would have moved on, let’s not forget he was talking about opening his restaurant and was branching out of music
I still think Pac was leaving Death Row, he was the hottest thing out back then, he really didn’t need Death Row after Makaveli had dropped if he had lived. He had movie deals I’m sure record companies were offering him his own deals as well. I’m sure he and suge still would have been cool but 97 was gonna be PAC’s year to really break out in different areas in his life.....
If you watch the documentary welcome to death-row a lot of that matches up with what said in the movie and the thing about it is the documentary welcome to death row dr. Dre wasn't even featured in it Harry O Nate Dogg and and I believe snoop n a few more.......... and everybody talked about how volatile it was up in that place and Harry O even mentioned how should started to change and possibly cut him out of the deal. He was even talkin from jail
She said they wasn’t getting allowances but said she had to ask for a car..... I’m lost on why she had to ask for a car..... to me that’s jus like an allowance
@@jwallace6158 They did owe him a substantial amount. All eyes on me was selling for $18 to $21 for the tape alone this is 96 dollars. “I was successful at Death Row but not happy” -Tupac Now let me say this kenya is entitled to her opinion since she was around the label at that time but to completely disregard the fact that he was being robbed blind as well as being quieted by them buying him cars when he was asking about his financials is straight bullshit and bias asf.
