This song is definitely one of Cradle's more accessible songs, but overall it's not a very good representative of their usual style. Songs like "From the Cradle to Enslave", "Her Ghost in the Fog", "Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids", "Saffron's Curse", "All Hope in Eclips", etc. are more their usual fanfare. :)

Your right, still I'm very glad it's this Cradle track they chose for their first reaction. Not everyone might agree with me, but I think it's always the best choice to start with the most accessible stuff for a newtimer. Next songs could be "Temptation" and "Her ghost in the fog", before they continue with their more extreme side. Beside Nymphetamine is not a typical Cradle representation, you gotta admit that it's an absolute wonderful composition and piece of music, and nobody would doubt that, if it would be any other "gothband". Sometimes we underestimate that, when a band we love for other things, does something more accessible. I feel the same with "Sound of silence" from Disturbed.

Welcome back! Cradle of Filth is mostly a black metal band, but they blend in a lot of other elements that makes them hard to pin down into just one genre. Another song of theirs with a female guest vocalist is "Temptation." They use a lot of clever wordplay at times like "Cruelty and the Beast" "Thornography" and their EP "Bitter Suites To Succubi"

Jumped on as soon as I saw this post. I had a feeling that you would love this. I forget her name, but she did a lot of good stuff when she sang for Leaves Eyes and Theatre of Trajedy. You were given the perfect entry point for Cradle of Filth. Dani Filth's voice can for some be hard to initially digest, but as you hear more and more of this band, you would find them to be one of the very deepest metal rabbit holes, along with the he is likely the best Lyricist there is. Her Ghost in the Fog From the Cradle to Enslave Would both be very logical next steps forward with this band, and would be great to ease you into the much more dark and brutal, but far better stuff Cradle of Filth has done. Another similar band, who has its' own similarities to Cradle of Filth is Dimmu Borgir-Gateways live This is a great entry point for them, and is a phenomenal live video of its own.

@Dark Waters I want to agree with you, but every time I have tried to introduce Cradle of Filth or Dimmu Borgir to someone, dusk and her Embrace or hybrid stigmata the apostasy to start them off almost never works.

First and foremost welcome back Granny Hayes it's great to see you doing so well big fan and love today's video. Cradle of Filth has always been one of my favorite bands since their early years in the 90s a lot of their work is just as interesting as this video Nymphetamine Fix but if I had to pick a favorite of mine it would have to be her ghost in the fog. They just something so melodic and graceful about not just a video but the song in general and I really think you guys would really appreciate it. Again huge fan been following y'alls Channel since the beginning and loving every episode keep up the good work and hope to see more soon.

Cradle of Filth doesn't have a decent video for the song, but if you react to just the song 'Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids" you won't be disappointed. It's arguably (in my humble opinion) their best song (and there's a lot in the running) but it's epic and wicked and beautiful and I think you'll love it. Rock on and stay healthy!

Damned...one of my favorite band !!!!!!!!!!!! A long story since 1998 ... this Dani filth's band became cult since many many years in the Gothic Metal style, we can say legendary band since many years, with very high writing text quality... I am not young, when I discovered this band in 1998, I had the same feeling as in 1984, in Paris, with the first part of a young band that was doing its first concert in France ... a certain "Metallica" ... Cradle of Filth have some of the best-written lyrics, in my opinion. People are suggesting a lot of their classics, but in my opinion they are one of few bands who have been constantly great. I love some of their newer stuff as well, like Achingly Beautiful or Onward Christian Soldiers.

Awww, this song always gives me chills. Not a keen Black Metal fan but Symphonic Black Metal is just mmm, delicious. Dani is truly one of the best metal voices of our generation. I would also suggest “The Death of Love”, “Her Ghost in the Fog”, “Foetus of a New Day Kicking” and couple more of their songs. They are absolutely magnificent.

Would LOVE to see you guys react to Decapitated - Day 69. And to give you a little information on one of the greatest technical death metal bands to ever exist - the band were involved in an accident where the drummer "Vitek" died, and the vocalist "Covan" was severely injured and never became the same. The band lives on to this day, but of course with other members. If you ask me personally, the bands early work is some of the best metal out there, and I know many would agree. The reason for me to suggest "Day 69" is because of the fact that is has a video. A great one actually (although the quality suffers). PLZ consider reacting to it! I know you would appreciate the musicianship from these polish guys!! Much love!!
