I don't know why some people try to make us out to be bad or hateful people but honestly I don't care what others think about us metalheads we look out for our own. I also love it when non metal reaction youtubers react to metal and end up liking it or even everyday people who aren't into metal but give it a chance and end up liking it, nothing feels better than that.
When I was 18 I almost fell in a mosh pit, some burly 6 foot odd fella caught me on my way down and made sure I was okay, always loved the metal/rock community 🤘
Second these. Man I thought I was done with the huge list i typed out for now but yeah. I already had about 10 songs in my comment so I thought I'd leave it for now and just throw another 10 out there next video lol
Its 22 a day for veteran suicide. 😢 its horrible. I hate that the people who have went through hell to keep our country free don't get the help they need.
@@evanpugh7599 it disgust me that this is even a topic, let alone a statistic. The fact that the military spends a lot of money training them to kill then does nothing to integrate them back into civilization. It is pathetic & makes me sick. The military budget is immense. Pennies are spent on the return.
Inside out, here to die, the pride, cold, cradle to the grave, dot your eyes, lift me up, a day in my life, gone away, remember everything, fake, full circle, little bit off, under and over it, and burn MF. My fav songs by ffdp.
You should do a reaction to Five Finger Death Punch - Wrong side of heaven or Jekyl & Hyde. Also, listen to Disturbeds version of The Sound of silence.
Watching you grannies is a definite mood lifter. I have such a good time on this channel remembering old favorites and finding new music I haven't had 'time' for. Thanks for being here 🖤🖤🖤
Yes! This song was playing on my MySpace page years ago and it was the reason a guy messaged me, same taste in music. Been married 14 years 🤣 Holds good memory
I just love you ladies!! You give women my age, 40's, something to look up to. I listen to stuff a lot of men can't handle, lol. Without metal, who knows where I would be. It's truly the best therapy for the soul. Keep on rockin out girls!
You know, as a german, I don't get it. Given I understand their lyrics I've always found them a bit meh. I mean I've listened to them and I still have their first album but eh. Never really got into them.
Great reaction for a great band! I have met Ivan Moody many times over the years, from small clubs, (The Black Sheep in Colorado Springs,) to talking to him in airports as they spread around the world. He is a quiet man with such a big voice; and a very nice guy.
I just started watching you and omg you are such awesome grannies You should listen Avenged Sevenfold or Disturbed (If you listen Disturbed please, listen the sound of silence) Or Arch Enemy, I think you'll be amazed with the singer
Ivan is an amazing singer - and an awesome human, it was great to get a birthday shout out from him on my 50th. Keep Rockin' Ladies loving your channel.
Ivan Moody is there lead singer he definitely Kicks Ass. There drummer Jeremy Spencer unfortunately left the band due to lower back issues. But became a correctional officer in his hometown. Bad Company is one of my favorites. Check out The Way of The First.
Oh Grannies you justade my morning. It 3am in my hometown and ironically raining hard( washing it all away😁). I have to make an important safety decision soon and to destress i clicking on UT and low and behold my favorite ladies are reacting to my favorite FFDP song. Love ya grannies xx
I went to see them the day the album dropped and it was the same day the tour started as well. The bassist is from my state of Kentucky. They were playing in Rupp arena and got him a bass with a UK wildcat on it. Absolutely awesome show. I got to meet them two years ago.
I kept looking at my cat when I was hearing the meowing sound, but my cat was sound asleep. I thought I was going crazy until you mentioned your cat being there. :D
Have to give a big thanks to both of y’all as well as your supporters that asked for FFDP. I had never listened to them until watching this video and really like them. Love y’all and what y’all are doing!! Thanks again!!!!!!!!😀
I was at one of their shows in Jacksonville Florida and help a 68-year-old woman check crowd surfing off her bucket list thanks to a bunch of military guys are staying in there in uniform I took her walker and they just passed her long and she had the best time and I met her towards the front with her walker
Just found y'all, and done subscribed.... these guys are absolutely amazing and y'all are just awesome! I'll be checking out more videos♥️♥️ and yes, live they have so much energy.. one of the top 2 concerts I've been to and can't wait to have the chance to see them again!
Do Disturbed "Down With The Sickness" also DevilDriver "Clouds Over California" or Pantera " 5 Minutes Alone " stay safe...man nothing but great music to keep our minds sane these days cheers....Peter from Denmark
just gotta say this is the best channel on youtube! you two always put a smile on my face and you're just so cool! the openness and positivity you display is so fantastic. keep on doing these awesome reaction videos!
Please react to Linkin Park, Three Days Grace and maybe Wrong Side of Heaven and/or Remember Everything by Five Finger Death Punch. Love your reactions ❤
Metalheads are truly a family. Mosh pits and crowd surfing is surprisingly friendly and safe. Last concert i went to i lost my shoe in the mosh and people formed a circle around me to protect me while i was putting it back on!
Good stuff grannies! My dad always hoped my love of metal was a phase - 51 now & it's not a f**kin' phase (think Falling in Reverse LOL). Just subscribed...keep on rockin'!
their version is certainly decent. but I prefer the original. I think if they want to listen to 5FDP again it should be one of their original songs (just my opinion).
Ohh, another great reaction!) Thank you for your awesomness! (and I agree with some other comments -- something like Q&A or some other interaction would be really interesting! but of course if you're okay with this) (and for the bands -- I would again suggest In This Moment (The In-Between, Big Bad Wolf or Roots), Blackbriar (Until Eternity, Arms of the Ocean), Bloodywood (Yaad, Ari Ari, Endurant)
I dig how you two have such open minds about music and you’re not stuck in the era you grew up in. So many of my friends will only enjoy 80s music because... well I don’t know why. Maybe because it’s safe and known or they have more good memories for it to dredge up but there’s so much awesome current music they’re missing. You remind me of when our local rock station promotes their time slot that is exclusively metal as an hour of music your mom will hate and my teenage son rolls his eyes and says not my mom. Anyway enjoying the videos keep rocking! Also, you’ll probably like Ghost, Dance Macabre or Square Hammer are good ones to start with.
This grandma has been listening to 5FDP since their first album came out. And I’m the one who turned my adult daughter and son in-law onto them. Love how they support military and vets! Good music has no age restrictions.
Bro I remember when I went to my second concert it had 3 bands before FFDP and I was in the very front thankfully there wasn't a big pit or anything but yes I was on the floor and I remember ivan (lead singer) pointed at me and smiled :) God it made me the happiest ever he's amazing
As a veteran WSOH hits home and hits hard. Albeit I'm an Aussie Vet, but the plight we all deal with when coming home is no different. FFDP got the message out there. The video Bad Company follows them on a tour in Iraq. Much respect for these guys. When Seasons Change also hits home with the Thin Blue Line. No-one Gets Left Behind is a shot at the politicians who send us to do their dirty work. Very thought provoking songs 2RG, well worth giving these guys another reaction if you can. Thanks.
People in the metal community have some of the biggest hearts. We all care about each other at concerts. I’ve seen people stop a mosh pit to help a small girl back to her feet so she didn’t get hurt. There’s a video where Ivan from five finger death punch stopped a show and kicked a guy out for slamming someone to the ground. I grew up listening to country and a buddy of mine got me into metal years ago and it has taken over my music taste. Some of my best friends I met through the metal scene and they are some of the most down to earth people I’ve ever met.
Would love to see you ladies react to Rammstein, The Hu, Disturbed, Korn, some more System Of A Down. Code Orange or Knocked Loose would be great too! Keep on keepin' on!
5FDP is an awesome band - they have really strong songs and the guys really cares about their fans and about veterans. I truly love this band and their music! I hope to see more more 5FDP videos on the channel, Wrong side of heaven has a strong message and an aswesome video. Do it!
You should react to Remember everything by FFDP or coming down that one has a really good message as well. Love me some FFDP you will get to love them the more you listen to them. They are a really great band and Ivan Moody the lead singer has been through alot in his life as well. Happy to be part of the #GrannySquad keep on rockin grannies cuz you 100% rock💜
Another great Five Finger Death Punch video is Wrong Side of Heaven. Very emotional and amazing song. Make sure to do the video though. Unleash the Archers is another amazing band you should react to sometime. Y'all are great; keep it up!
I dont know how old you ladies are and its not poliet to ask .I an 52 and Im a nana.I just found you and love watching you. When I was younger my dad would tell me to turn it down I would tell my kids to turn it up.lol
