We know we are going to start a little slim in feature set but we are working to improve this as a forever fighting game. That is so good to hear! We appreciate the communication you guys have with the community. I'll do my best to continue providing feedback once the accessibility features get implemented. I'm really looking forward to it! I will say this just as a longtime blind fighting game player before Accessibility even existed. The most important thing is always going to be a screen reader. The rest is just icing on the cake.
You don't know how refreshing it is to hear that, I'm sure we will be sharing our feedback, and please don't hesitate to reach out to any of us at any point, we are a small community, but very passionate about fighting games, and accessibility.
Nice video, hopefully riot games or someone at right games seize this. You can pass it around. If you know your other friends in the fighting game community who have contacts with riot. This is definitely a great showcase of what needs to be done. I was disappointed when tech eight did not have accessibility, and I really don’t want to be memorising menus, so this video is extremely helpful, thank you for putting this out
I think they have. Their community management team is really awesome communicating with the fans. They even gave a shout out to another fellow blind player who gave feedback on Twitter. The level of communication is awesome!
Love what you did with this video explaining and demonstrating how accessibility should be done with MK1 and SF6, which, in my opinion, are industry leaders. I’m just a little worried, to be honest, since Riot Games doesn’t really have any experience with blind accessibility so far in any of their current games, or much accessibility at all, for that matter. But I’m hopeful that things will change with this game. I liked what I played so far in the beta and love what you do, Rattle. You are the true champ for all of us.
