We don't exactly get a lot of that around these parts too often so its welcome when we get it. That playable beta they talked about a long time ago? Well its finally actually around the corner in August. We got gameplay changes, talk of a new character, so dig in and have a watch to find out more!
Also big ups to Justin Wong for the b-roll footage in the vid. Justin is actually just a really nice guy, I am sort of "apart" from the goings ons in the FGC in a lot of ways cause of my relative isolation where I live, and even though I only get to show up to events rarely Justin has always been a very welcoming and helpful person and I just wanna spread some love there because I don't feel that kinda stuff gets out enough.

I'm 100% with you on gigantic combos. I'd rather have more unique interactions in fights than one giant combo that's long enough to go get food and come back during and some mega combo is the largest thing keeping new players away from a game.
Imagine the irony of having Annie in this game. In League proper she’s one of the easiest characters to pick up, but in fighting games, puppet characters tend to be hard as nails to learn.
@@tomix4694 ok udyr sounds like fun shit in a fighting game. Never liked to play the champion outside of being funny to make a combo and send "uga" to the dead guy, but a stance guy who alternate between modes in a tag team game? hell yeah!
annie being popular as she is will prob be a different kind of char, or an "easy puppet" like chang in CvS 2 where you really dont gotta think about it
@Oscar97o yup, as I said some evidence. Though one person pointed out the seeming empty spot is alphabetically between Ahri and Darius. So, unlikely to be either.
I love that they added the autos as a groove, for experienced players and elitists, it requires you to give something up for easier execution, and for new players it takes those groove mechanics off of their plate while theyre learning
I’m surprised they haven’t made Jinx playable yet for their offline tests knowing that Ekko, Darius, Ahri, Yasuo, and Illaoi are in the current roster.
Putting the Easy Mode/Autocombo Mode on a Fuse is smart. Pick it to ease your execution at the cost of the other Fuses' effects; fair trade. I suspect most newbies will graduate from it quickly given the lack of command inputs, and most FG veterans won't ever pick it unless they're playing with a newbie partner.
So if someone who plays Juri I kind of like having a resource to take care of because it usually means that the options with them are allowed to be stronger. But that's fair if you don't like them. But I 100% agree about the combo length thing, and it's funny that you bring up super broly as the example because he's my go-to example of "this combos are too long" and I don't feel like sitting through them. just take the damage you're going to do and be done with it... Even 15 to 20 seconds is kind of a long time to be essentially in a one player mode
I'm hoping that Vi shows up to the game eventually. I'm not sure if this has its shoto character already, but I can definitely see her being one. Plus Jinx and Vi should be the Kitana and Mileena of the game.
Considering Arcane I would be extremely surprised if they skipped her. Arcane is basically the only reason I'm keeping my eyes on this haha. I wasn't very impressed when they first showed the game and the characters available were generic axe-guy and generic anime lady with a "sexy" Halloween fox costume.

I'm really impressed on how much community feedback the dev team is taking. This game seems like its making all the right choices. I actually was able to get several of my friends whose only fighting game experience is playing casual Smash Bros to play with with me because of the simple inputs and free to play model. The Pulse fuse seems like a great addition to the game.
I've played fighting games throughout my life, the vast majority of Mortal Kombat games, a little bit of Killer Instinct, and mostly the anime 2D & 3D "arena" fighters like Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm games, and the PS2 & PSP Naruto games, I've played Injustice 1 & 2 as well. But, I've never played a Guilty Gear game, Melty Blood, Dragon Ball Fighterz, or things like that, nonetheless, I am interested in 2XKO (Project L) 🤙🏾💯.
I know Riot is huge so they want to do full releases confirmed on certain dates but an early access wouldn’t hurt this game if they can handle the masses

The animation and movements look so fluid! It seems like this is going to have smooth gameplay which is awesome. So many games similar to this art style feel stiff and jerky ***cough cough ATLUS FIGHTERS cough cough***. I hope this is a winner and break from the norm.
I wish they left arhi as she was. That change was to make the character easier. Leave a few complicated characters. I was looking forward to her. Now i guess im looking towards Illaoi.
i hope this made for FGC do not mean 60 fps lock or similar "we still live in in 2k age" because this bs is killing fighting games for a lot of peoples i know
my feedback would be they should be careful with noob stomping characters or cheap characters/mixups, because this game is going to attract lots of new players and lots of players coming from league, you dont want them to quit because they get stomped by some character theyll grow to hate, and itll be worse if those characters overlap with league characters that are also hated in that game, since league players will carry the frustration and wont bother with giving this game a fair try since its "the same bullshit as in league"
@@NomaGang I mean I get it, people are not used to seeing the lol ip outside of the official moba. If you don't already know, this is going to be a free to play and of course that's nice for people that are less familiar with the ip and are unsure if they will like it or not
Boo! It's not coming out for PS4. There's no reason companies should stop making fighting games for the PS4. This type of game doesn't need tons of processing power to function.
Unpopular opinion they should have a modern control option like sf6 not sure if what you mention is modern controls but yeah they really let you get in the game and then you end up learning how to play in classic
I wont touch anything Riot related with a 10 foot pole. So ngl the only thing I look forward to about this game is the massive increase in scrubquotes blaming their teammates.

I think its either Jinx, Akali, or Vi. Jinx or Vi cus Arcane, Akali because apparently one of the champion designers is a big fan of Akali and I think there was an Akali statue on her desk.
The new champion name's first letters is between "Ah" ~ "C". In the character select screen there was a blank spot between Ahri and Darius, and it was alphabetically ordered.

@@yami-kay9099 There's an ammo mechanic on my main in Sf6, more or less. Lily. I hate it. Its an extra consideration that adds a layer of gameplay that doesn't add to the experience enough to justify its time and opportunity cost.
4:07 "You don't want one of you most popular characters gated behind a complex mechanic..." Like what Capcom did with *Chun-Li* in SF6! The numbers bear this out: from Rookie to Master she drops from 9th to 15th... while *Cammy* drops from 2nd to 4th.
ooh the orb comes back around I'm usually unlucky when it comes to getting in these but it'll be fun to see how people feel about it They have definitely been cooking with this game
Is there a chance that these characters will have their own music themes or they’ll focus more on stage soundtracks? I hope they’ll put the music soundtracks from the Arcane show.
I guess we don't know yet. I sincerely hope there's character themes. Character specific themes live throughout the ages. Generic music gets forgotten.
There are themes for the three stages they've shown so far, you can listen to them on their youtube channel. Being a tag fighter, I'm sure there will only be stage themes instead of character themes.
What I am affraid off is that Riot Will forcé us to install Vanguard, I don´t like that antivirus and thats the reason I unstalled LoL, cause even when I only played TFT they forced us to install that
They have modern control too... This is so good because i can trick my girlfriend to play 2XKO like i did on SF6 now she is a Master Modern Juri niceee
