As a kid i was born shia but didnt know any thing about our history being raised in Western country back then. I remmember trying to focus on majalis which where in persian or urdu language which i didnt connect with so well. It was around 2008 i came across sayed Ammar's lectures and videos and instantly i felt connected. It was in english and i could understand it so well the way he delivers his talk. So in one way or other i am religious because of this man. May Allah protect you Syed❤
I wasn't born in a Islamic family and the closest Mosque to my house is a shiite Mosque, but I had to convert on a Sunni masjid because they wouldn't accept me (because i'm not arab, i'm young, etc.). If it wasn't for Dr. Ammar lectures I'd given up on Islam since I cannot stand Wahhabism and unfortunately our Sunni brothers are way too infected with it.
pretty relatable istarted listening him in 2008-9, his lectures cleared somany concepts which were not solved in majalis of my mother toung as they were pretty stereotypical
@@brunopropheta So you’re saying the Shi’a mosque rejected your conversion because you are a young non-Arab? If so that is very disgusting to hear, I hope that at least some of the people at that masjid were open to your presence Also please keep in mind that the only thing needed for converting to Shi’a is a knowledgeable person helping you read the Shahada correctly, at which point you are a full Shi’a even from your own home and can hopefully find many brothers of the faith to welcome you through the internet for discussions & majalis year-round ☺️
Your lectures are full of facts. I have never heard such a detailed majalis in my whole life may Allah swt keep you safe. My kids one day will see your lectures and learn from them inshallah

I wish we have more scholars and orators like you in the muslim world, especially in indo pak because here we don't get to know and reflect on imam Al Hussain (AS) the way you are delivering. Many things relating to this catastrophic event are painful to hear but none is more disturbing than the way the precious countenance of Imaam Hussain was treated. If inanimate objects could be cursed every stick that partook would not be spared. After hearing, listening or reading of such desecration the heart remains forever broken. Thank God this life is a temporary passing and that all responsible will account for what they did on the day of reckoning. Praying for my own pardon, I hope and pray that our Lord grant me a front row seat on that day when the criminals are brought forth... May God cause us to follow in the footsteps of those blessed by the sacred cloak!
I heard many shia scholars say there were sacks full of letters from the Shias of Ali inviting Imam Hussain to Kufa. Hence Noha was written about that.
Many were subjugated with death and imprisonment(people of kufa), its hard to believe the true shiat Ali(as) conspired with the corrupt mawiya 'caliphat' to kill their imam.

@Zedispahany u have a short memory Sunnis from Kufa killed Rasool Allah's (sawas) brother Mola Ali d great & Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel too. Allah's lanat beshumar on Muhavaiya & Yazeed
I have to correct u. It was ibn muljhim who was a kharajite( they were previously ardent followers of Hazrat Ali) who killed him. They left Hazrst Ali and formed a very different group just because he signed a peace treaty with Moavia and they did not want him to do that but continue to fight.
For ur information Hazrat Ali was assassinated by Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Amr ibn Muljam a Kharijite who was at first a follower of Hazrat Ali. He and some other followers of Hazrat Ali did not agree to the truce Ali made with Muavia they broke away from him and formed their own party called the kharijites.
@@zedispahany7317 Okay, but nobody can deny that every single soldier who attacked Husayn ibn Ali at Karbala was a Sunni follower of their ruling Khalifa Yazid bin Mu’awiya (LA) There is no exception to that fact
Both sides were Muslim supposedly, look at the Shia Sunni ratio throughout the world we know the majority was with the evil side and we know we the Shia are the smaller percentage but as Sayed said it’s not quantity it’s quality. May Allah show is blessings and forgiveness on us the followers of Aylhulbayt

@@corpsefoot758 Don't quite agree with that statement. Disagreeing with one's ideology is one thing, straight up hating is another. The door for repentance and reconciliation has to be open for everyone, if they explicitly hate the Ahlal Bait then it's a different matter, most of these people revere ahlal bait as well, so who are we to say that Allah and Ahlal Bait will not forgive their ignorance? That is not our call to make.
@@mufaddal2152 If they do not admit that their OWN Sahih Muslim 2408a clearly defines whom the Ahlul Bayt even are (STRICTLY excluding our holy Prophet’s wives from this group, for example), then they are still not worthy of being called “brethren” on the basis of simple integrity. Even atheists you meet on the street can have more moral fiber than a self-proclaimed Muslim who claims to revere his “Sahih” books, is confronted with the specific definition for “Ahlul Bayt” within that text, and yet STILL persists in lumping Khulafa or Prophet’s wives into that group against his own book’s clear instructions. I can give countless other examples of such open hypocrisy, but I trust I don’t need to. Simply put: my rule for calling someone a “brother” relies entirely on their loyalty to our Holy Prophet and his divine message. Everyone else is still a “Muslim” yes, but little more than that.
