@@jerejaatinen4330 Thanx, i’ve got 250k km on mine its second hand and i think it never been replaced yet Makes me paranoid when it does Rattle noises lol
Timing chains at high km, and coolant/oil leaks, maybe the armonic balancer fails if rusts, and thats it, injector and that stuff is in like every diesel.
I don't think you can clean it that way because you have to scrap it out of the Grove like you see in my rebuilding video, but I can imagine that it maybe helps to slow down the process so it doesn't get clugged up again that quickly. The engine was not consuming a lot of oil before rebuilding it, just about a liter of oil for arround 1500 miles thats totally fine
Changing the oil more often is the answer. Oil has cleaning additives by default, but if you go too many miles with it those additives get depleted and that's when you get deposits on parts.
I'm also looking into buying that car right now, so contnent about it is coming soon. I'm doing my research about the US version and let you know soon!
I bought a 2013 2 years ago with 140k miles. It's had some wear items like pads and rotors and tires. Non wear items include a thermostat, and a coolant solenoid, and I proactively did wheel bearings, hubs, and a full transmission flush and filter change. I do fuel filter every other oil change, Cabin and engine air filter every other year, oil change every 6500.
I bought a 2014 A7 3.0 TDI at 150k miles, and it has 172k with zero issues other than regular maintenance. Just got a transmission fluid change. Paid $12k for it and it's been worth every penny!! Coming up on a year now with it.
you need proof if nobody replace before chains.you don't now who did owners before you or you first owner for this car.what i see chains was replaced one time because tensioners pistons not much open
