what should we do for clients or ourselves for rest periods? you mentioned not to do the cardio/jumping jacks so you do not compromise the next set or have to lighten the load, but what do you recommend to do to keep the body ready for up to 3 minutes without being boring

Only the boring are boring! Ask great questions. Learn about your client. Do reactive drills if you want. Set expectations
