3 Blink Nurse is the equivalent of a AK47 having explosive rounds.

If you can screen your Iri Bookmark early, you can get a really cheeky early down, even against DH survivors. If you can get your first hit in only 2 Blinks, let them recharge, then blink twice, bait DH, and use your surprise 3rd blink to smoosh them.

Personally I'm of the opinion that URs needs to be gamechangingly strong. Nurse's new UR is one of my favourites when compared to other trash URs like Pyramid Head's or Nemesis'. If Survivors can bring items and addons that change the game dramatically, so should Killers. I don't think anyone wants to disagree on that.

About a new objective for survivors, i always thought it’d be cool for pig to switch the focus of the game to getting the traps off rather than getting gens. Maybe have the game start with gates already open or something.

The 3 blinks are basically: "Go" blink, "See" blink, "Hit" blink. The first one to go near the survivor, the second one to get visibility and movement directions, and the third one to secure a hit.

This comes from a different game and it's on the survivor side but the nerf/buff +low win rates also applies to IDV (which bEhvr helped with or former employees went to work on it, something like that). Priestess is one of the characters that got a nerf a few months ago which is your usual "applies to almost everyone" nerf so it's fine but the problem is that her nature as a character is what makes her OP or annoying at least. Nurse can blink and a good Nurse is awesome to watch (I don't play DbD) and priestess can teleport given 1 second to put a portal down and a good priestess will kite you forever cuz natural skills and portals. And also rescues that stun you at the same time and a mega portal for everyone to go across the map (you can hit them but they'll be healing on the other side) and gg in end game. Breaking Wheel because he is a hunter immune to stuns while in wheel form is also OP in nature and got some nerfs, Sculptor cuz of her oppressive map control and statue spamming (statues that can go directly towards you and do 1/3 damage) also nerfed. Dream Witch was nerfed strongly, you can't spam external abilities and you'll know she is close by now cuz you get an icon (main body is invisible, she has minions). So she is between A and S tier now but great DW players can still be really oppressive (by making more leeches by leeching survivors and you have an AoE hunter). And there's more survivors too that are really strong by nature even without their special abilities, some got nerfed but when a character is strong by nature its hard to find a balance... Specially if the META is ignored and the win rate is somehow for the hunters...and they ignore the community.

I don't even play the game, I just watch for otz.

I love what you said about her recharge, even if you were applying it to 3 blinks. Waiting how ever few seconds to blink again is not the end of the world, if it'll cut a 30 second chase.

Back to what you were saying about at the start of the game. I think a third objective like finding new parts for 3 of the gens would be cool. That is coming from a survivor main that plays SWF. You could then have short and long matches. Where in the short matches you only need the 5 gens but in the long matches it would be 5 gens 3 new parts and the gens that need new parts would spawn near doors with the actual parts being in main and near other tiles like basement and shack...

The achievement "From the Void she kills" is for getting a grab after blinking three times. This achievement feels impossible on console without being a top-tier nurse, or having survivors just give it to you.

Not only is a third blink so good, if you only use 2/3 blinks at a time, you will always have one blink off cooldown and only need to recharge 1 more after that. This means that this add-on also acts as a recharge add-on, making you able to have 2 blinks out of fatigue faster than actual recharge add-ons… So, yeah. It has two effects…

Nurse has 3 blinks Survivors having dead hard, unbreakable, borrowed time, decisive strike + brand new part to finish gen in 0,000001 seconds: “Nurse is OP!”

This build + Coup de Grâce = basically 4-blink nurse OMEGALUL

Another good way to balance three blinks could be to reduce the max distance of blinks, or to make the blink charge slower so it takes longer to reach max distance.

I think if they changed the add-on so that the third blink can't go through walls and is only available if you didn't blink through a wall with your second blink and the first blink is left as-is, it would be pretty good.

I think they should do with this what they did with iri head. Make it so that the recharge time is set and cannot be improved by other add-ons.

balance and dead hard might sound stupid, but its one of those cases "whichever comes first", since BL is so situational, but it can trigger before a hit.

For the side objective idea, I would add items hidden randomly thought the map that could speed up gens or something like that, but not necessary, so if they want to go for them they can try but waste too much time or play poorly and the killer could catch you and have an advantage

The way not Otz was talking made me think they make the third blink into the Nurse base-kit and that would be nice since I never see nurses and if I do they don´t use this

Well, these survs took 8 minutes to repair 4 gens. In my normal high mmr matches, that usually takes ~4 minutes. There is where you start to worry about your recharge time. Default distance is good if you have fast recharge. With this addon you have +50/30% recharge time and that makes it really bad at chases. Go to a comp map like coal tower, try again some very skilled survivors and what you will find is you only got 1 chance to use 3 blinks. If you miss your first try, you will not be able to chase that surv anymore, because 1 of 2 things will happen: 1. you decide to recharge your 3 blinks, he will take too much distance from you, you don't have distance addon, so you will need to use 3 blinks again to reach him, and of course dead hard will make you lose twice time as normal 2. you only recharge 2 blinks and go with that, you are basically a normal nurse but recharging slower, and you still can lose against a dead hard. More time lost. Start adding all the seconds you lost in every chase, and that's a gg for you, 4 escapes, gl next It's a funny addon, but there is no main nurse out there using it, because double recharge or distance+recharge is better

I think the main issue with add-ons is a lot of them are just stat improvements and sometimes downsides while they could be so much more. Imagine if they brought back old Freddy as an add-on for example.

Have you tried the double M1 nurse addons, the one that gives you 60s of 115% and the one that gives you undetectable for ~16s? I'd recommend checking them out if you want something that feels a little less dirty. Somehow, it even got me into Iridescent 1 before SBMM and the new grade system. It's a fun set of addons! :)

It's a solid iri without breaking her. Iri add-ons should make the killer more dangerous with a slight downside to stop them from being near unstoppable.

Shoutouts to back when 5 blink nurse without needing to recharge was a thing. Pig was pretty oppressive though so you just gotta take the good with the bad.

Imo, this add-on should work like the Serum. Hook a Survivor and get an additional Blink.

Hey Otz, question: With the new hatch change they made where it wont appear until there is only 1 person left, is there any new effective way to find it based on what you know, whether as killer or survivor? in my experience its lately just been based on luck and I'm just wondering if you know anything about finding it now with the new change

Okay that instant attack speed from blink is NOT okay. There is nothing you can do against that even if you try to stun her with a pallet she hits you faster than you can drop it or even worse she wont even get stunned from the pallet which has happened to me lots of times. I think they did a pretty good job so far!

I think a good second objective for the Survivors would make the game a lot more fair, but to balance it out a bit more you'd have to do something about tunneling that isn't just D.S. and I'm not sure what to do about tunneling. They would both have to be implemented at the same time, unlike other changes where they try one thing to see if it works by itself. Taking the "Only line of sight" off the Bookmark made it a bit _too_ powerful, but the "only line of sight" was way to much of a downside, especially on indoor maps. I think they need to have more of a recovery penalty on it, maybe scale it to how many tokens you have. I think it would be best to have it be the more tokens you have to longer the recharge time is, so if you use all three getting back the first blink takes 50% longer as it is already but getting the second one back is actually 75% longer then the third is twice as long. That way knocking off 0.6 seconds from _each token_ isn't stupid strong, making it 2.9s, 4.65s, and 5.4s for the charges. This would still enable the "spam blinks" playstyle because you are getting the first blink back easily but you can't just "spam blinks" in every chase because you have to wait for two and three to come back. I like that it's a very strong Iridescent Add-ons, which we need more of to be sure, but it's a bit too strong. Iridescents _should_ be strong, but not so strong as to make the Killer unbeatable. I'd love to see more of them that changed the Power in some way as well, but that's asking a lot. It's a really hard line to walk to be sure, both in balance and in mixing up the Power. What if they pick the current addon and just add on top of it that only the 3rd blink can't go through stuff, so it gives you a nice extra blink, but it's not that good, it's just if the survivor is in the open or for extra distance?

I'm wondering... why do the survivors not try to double back at all or break line of sight or do any kind of mindgame, they're just running forward all the time?

I think a good objective for survivors is rebuilding totems. This would work with boons where now boons are now a time base like a min or whatever then the totem breaks now this allows not a only allow survivors to rebuild totems but let that new artists perk actually be useful I think it enough of an objective would not be harsh but fair on both sides

To balance it I'd probably shorten the ranged dramatic to the same max range as a single blink.
