All the best to Hilliard - stay strong and never, ever give up. Keeping you in my mind, you absolute beast of a man! And great video guys, very helpful, as always.
I’m 71, so you are a total inspiration to me!! My prayers and love are surrounding you through this difficult time. I know you have the power to come through this as well as the grace to know when to surrender. Blessings to you and your family.
You brothers do solid work with your videos and courses, but you all's humility and love bigging up your 'extended' family takes that to another level. I know you will say that you only share what you've been given, but you still share. Power to you and the people you love 😍

Could you also use asymmetrical training? I've found that changing hand height and position can help too. Just a thought, maybe do a follow up video on it? Great work and Happy Anniversary to Hilliard and Julia!
Great to see us youtubers helping people make use of covid by posting bodyweight workouts. I do the same. Trying to get to 100 subs before Christmas. Currently on 77. Much love, great job and stay fit 👍🏽
Yes, if training heavy impact or extreme for long periods of time, you we will likely see joint problems over time. Just like high level athletes in many sports experience, after years of abuse. However, the trick is to condition the body and practice balance. Don't push too hard and listen to your body. Start small and gradually build up. The good thing about training disciplines like calisthenics/bodyweight exercise is you can take it as far as you like and listen to your body. In sports, we can feel pressured to push through injuries or go harder to compete and in the long run this can have consequences with our joints. Now many of the bodyweight skills and training shared in this video can be done safely and you do not have to experience joints issues in the long run, aside from the normal effects of aging. 3 of these methods are low impact as well, except for the explosive plyometrics. Even plyometrics when trained properly can help build bone density and be practiced at an older age. A simple rule to follow, again, start small and gradually build up. Listen to your body. If you are older right now, you may not be able to push your body as hard as when you were younger but you can still progress and get those strength gains 🔥💪
Systemic inflammation will accelerate any damage you see to your joints. In fact, systemic inflammation will damage your joints, as well as other body parts including organs, , without any physical abuse at all!!! The best introduction into an anti-inflammatory lifestyle are provided by two anti-inflammatory investigators -- Morley Robbins and Dr. Barry Sears, PhD. They each attack the problem from a different angle, but both are key levers to achieving the anti-inflammatory goal. There is some overlap as well. The accomplishments of athletes applying just Dr. Sears' lifestyle technology are nonpareil. Dara Torres missed a gold medal in the 50m free event by 1/100th of a second as a 42-year old... MOTHER! Dean Karnazes is the Ultra-marathoner's Ultra-marathoner. Few people get the joint pounding he's taken, yet he his only injuries have come from a rare fall, even though he ran 50 marathons in 50 states, in 50 days. Dr. Sears also played a crucial role in reducing the inflammation of Randall McCloy, the lone survivor of the Sago Mining disaster. About 10 people perished next to him, but he survived by a thread. Based on his multiple organ failure and poor condition, his doctor contacted Dr. Sears. Dr. Sears then applied his anti-inflammatory technology the best that he could -- and a miraculous recovery ensued. Systemic inflammation is the unknown unknown for most people. There is some nuance, but generally healthy people should benefit greatly from applying the insights of these two anti-inflammatory investigators. Search YT for their names. Their programs should be synergistic. If you more focused information, let me know and I will share what I have discovered.
@@wellnesspathforme6236 thank you so much for the wealth of information as well as the Tapp Brothers'. I didn't think one would be as serious as I. I myself practice Qi gong and Acupressure for a cure and qi gong for maintenance with Tai chi. But I also make use of western tools to validate my well being and predict what to eat the next meal and the next exercise fir my body. I use the results of all the 3 numbers of the BP machine, measured on both arms, before and after meals. We look at the transition of the numbers. We also use the measurements of BP at the ankles. The glucometer is extremely important but our concern for glucose chemically is different than the western approach and this is where we identify the problems the western ignores. The temperature gun and the PH strips and the oximeter are also important. This is why we can predict first stage of cancer at home ahead of the western doctors. But it takes exercises everyday and monitoring of the mumbers. Our old people don't have joint problems after qi gong exercises nor the main organs problems. ...( Not the old couch potatoes! ). Basically, we depend on the chi and the breathing rate and nutrition. We avoid joint problems when we exercise. When we cure joint problems or any problems, they don't come back in 6 months, 1 year or 20 years. I have injured my shoulders for 10 years + from surfing and finally free for good after 9 months with acupressure. Again not all masters are equal. We believe by pounding on our body eternally we lose all the chi. There are benefits for standing still and breathe. We use the direction of the chi to the kidneys to squat up and down. We don't ruin the joints and use very little effort. We don't abuse our breath either...just enough to regulate the 3 numbers of the BP machine. Simplicity is our cure. But the westerners ignore. You don't need a gym nor the big Pharma theories to be healthy. I'd love to share with you proven facts that contradict the medical association to cure most problems, from the skin problem to the marrow. When we exercise we know which level we are affecting, on the skin level, muscle, tendon or bone marrow thru the level of breath and stretch and timing. Meanwhile I will also venture into your explanation. Thank you kindly.
@@happyday868 Thanks for posting -- it sounds interesting Industrial level profits over patients are the problem with Rockefeller Medicine (which masquerades as Western Medicine). I'd love some book, website, or lecturer name recommendations that I could search out to learn more. Morley Robbins makes an excellent case that chi equates to one's cellular magnesium ion and bio-copper statuses. If those are low, energy is low. Period. Mg-ATP is the energy molecule of the cell, and bio-copper splits oxygen to make ADP and sparks the anti-oxidant enzymes. If those are brimming, biological energy is brimming. Heat is iron overload according to Morley. While maybe not 100%, he might be onto something significant. Iron overload == oxidative stress == inflammation == degeneration, and chronic stress systematically depleted magnesium and copper stores. If one is on the standard American Diet, I'm not sure any countermeasures will work long term. The diet itself is the poison. The solution is to get off the toxic diet. Renutrifying is one thing. Detoxing the stores up toxins and heavy metals is another! It is best to start going, and especially important for women. Their superpower is that they possess 100% of the epigenetic and mitochondrial DNA downloads for the next generation. Fast food triggered genetics and mitochondria will not work well. Stress management and lymph flow are key as well -- and it sounds like you have those covered. Be sure to share references -- the information you presented sounds like it could be fruitful. PS -- TG/HDL is a cheap surrogate measure of systemic inflammation and oxidized LDL (with iron being the leading cause). Dr. Sears' top level athletes are around 0.5. I'm below 0.8, but don't know how much below due to the resolution limit of the test. Over 2.0 is heading up into bad news. Dr. Sears also likes the AA/EPA ration as an indicator of how well your body is able resolve and repair inflammatory conditions. AA == arachidonic acid EPA == eicooentaenoic acid. Dr. Sears' Zone Diet books are often cheap at local thrift stores. He tends to have colorful covers. Abebooks.com probably sells them cheap as well. My favorite was The Anti-Aging Zone. The Onega-RX Zone is excellent, too. The Anti-Inflammation Zone is probably the best one-size-fits-all book.
Pls stop Bombarding me with your ads, I saw 1 Ad and after all i get is "i saw you checked out my video..." NO, no i didnt you gave me an ad, Great punchline btw lol
"70 years is all we have. 80 years if we are strong........."
