As a young child my family lived in a 150 year old school house that had all kinds of weird stuff that happened. The upstairs only had 1 window which was always covered with celephane wrap to keep the heat in, there was no insulation, my grandfather's baby rocking chair would randomly start rocking in the middle of the day was just one oddity.

Who even wants a house THAT big?!? You would never see your spouse...my WHOLE entire family could move in there and we still wouldn't ever run into each other, lol

Imagine being able to legitimately ask… “Which pool do you want to swim in?”

I never knew of Adele's ghost problems. But my question is why the heck would you show the layout of your place if you had problems of people bothering you?

Oh! I can totally relate to Adele's experience. My husband and I keep changing apartments where strange things are happening, and only in older houses (the end of the 19th century), so an old haunted mansion no longer seems like something out of a horror movie. Anyway, we often hear the sounds of something falling, sometimes even collapsing with the loudest noises, but we are never able to find these items. It happens every now and then, during the day or at night, along with the doors closing and opening on their own, items flying across the kitchen, etc. It's very real and it's creepy.

If Cassandra Peterson had the house Saged by a Native American medicine man and then blessed by a Catholic Priest, that might explain why when Brad Pitt moved in it later he never experienced any paranormal activity. And he really would have been pushing his luck with Spirits since one way to stir them up is to remodel the house. btw, as an American, I tend to believe that almost EVERY home in the U.K. is haunted to a certain degree. I think this due to the smaller size of the country, and the fact that almost every corner of has been settled by people for thousands of years. Those generations of inhabitants, as well as a bloody history of plagues & war (to me), most likely means there's at least one spirit or more in every building.

My Mum and Dad's quite well off friends bought a Georgian town house, it was lovely, but they were there for dinner one evening and mu mum needed to use the bathroom, so the wife took her upstairs to show her the way, (it was a big house) so on their way up the old staircase, my mum had a feeling somebody was behind her, she turned around and there was a little girl behind her, in a period dress! Sounds cliché but it happened, the lady said" I know she's there" to my mum, and explained some nights she'd wake up and the little girl would be stood by the bed! my mum is very superstitious and very, very wary of anything that would be supernatural, this is not something she'd make up as she would think it would be disrespectful to the dead or something!

Substance abuse can weaken your immune system though so dying from pneumonia isn't all that unusual for someone like Brittany Murphy

I've lived in four different homes that were haunted. Many experiences. Only three that were Really scary. But. This proves that old or new, haunted is haunted.

In #1 it's interesting that all of the energy in the home shifted after a Reiki healer worked on Spears. Either she hired someone who had no idea what they were doing or knew EXACTLY what they were doing. If she hired someone who wasn't properly trained they could have manifested a portal by mistake. OR if the person was highly skilled they could have opened a portal on purpose! If they were bitter about having to use their skill to realign the energy of a spoiled rich girl after a weekend of partying they may have been bitter and opened the portal out of spite? I would certainly HOPE it wasn't someone using their devine gift for evil but who really knows. I could see where the negative energy in the home would be increased by what happened to Brittany Murphy. To this day the circumstances around her death aren't fully known. If there are truly negative spirit's in the home they could have contributed to her death! Also, just because the home was destroyed doesn't mean the evil spirit's are gone. Because a home was built on the same ground they could easily be haunting the new home. It's strange someone only lived there for 3 year's and then sold it. It's all very interesting and terrifying at the same time.

Yes and that's exactly what you can do some of them will look so vivid it's just based on how much energy they can pull from this side to give them enough power to push to this side so if you interact with them and you allow them to absorb energy from you it does help them become visible to this side I've done the same thing with another ghost a civil war soldier that I knew was in a house and you can hear a move around and did a lot of things but I interact with them one night trying to get him like two touch my hands or see if I can feel him and I can feel the energy and then it was probably no more than maybe 45 minutes later I'm laying on the couch and I happened to look up and there's this man that leans out of a doorway a ghost literally turns my directions smiles at me means back and then disappears so I had to research by his clothes and he was a civil war soldier but they need the energy from this side I believe as much as possible that they can draw in to be able to interact with this side and then some have been passed away for so long that they're strong enough their energy source of their spirit is strong enough to be able to push through on this side
