3-Circle Poi Fountain, explained. (Definitely nothing unusual going on)

I'm trying to post something every day! This will be raw. I'm not even watching the footage. I'm just shooting, dropping credits/music and uploading. Better something than nothing, yes?
Having Leviathan all to myself is pretty strange. I doubt anything very interesting will happen until the restrictions lift, so I'm spending most of the day gardening and working around the property. I mean, what interesting thing could possibly happen during a pandemic lock down?
As always, I do appreciate interaction! And please do tell people about my awesome "Learn and Master" poi course: playpoi.com/poi-course. I'm also putting love back into my patreon campaign. Patrons get the inside scoop of things going on. Not that anything is going on, but, you know, if something was indeed going on, patrons would know. / nickwoolsey

I have followed your work for so long. You are very inspiring. I recently revisited your channel to make my own sock poi and I will be practicing my basics everyday before jumping into all the tricks!

Hey Nick! Are you OK out there? I can’t help but worry about you. I hope you are doing OK. We are all feeling cabin fever and a lack of deep conversation over here. I always enjoy your videos very much! You are such a wonderful guy! I’m glad you were able to get out of the city and into the woods. It must be easier to practice outside. Anyway, just got you in my thoughts and hoping things get better soon. I signed up for your course because I wanted to find some way of thanking you for all that you’ve taught me over these last six years. I would like to support you more but for some reason your website won’t allow me to make a PayPal gift. It’s very frustrating! Don’t really know what’s going on there… some of us would just really like to get to know you better so even if you want to post videos about that it would be wonderful! I would like to hear more about your passion for this art. I watched the interview you did with Drex. I will always watch your videos! Anyway I just want to send you love and good vibes and I hope that you stay well Inside and out. Much love to you - hang in there friend- Heather

I’ve been wondering if the reason I can’t leave a tip is because it is in Canadian dollars and I am in the US. Do you have any suggestions? I would really really like to offer some support. You have supported me through many things without your even knowing it.

Hey! I've always LOVED your videos, and they've inspired me immensely! I teach poi too (on a much smaller scale than you!), and one thing I always encourage all my students to do is reverse everything! A personal challenge of my own right now is to do my fountains in the other direction. KInda fun to stall the whole thing, reverse it, stall and reverse back again. You can actually reverse the fountain, plus do it in the other direction, both ways too..... do I make any sense?! Either way.... any tips?

Is a 5x5 or 7x7 fountain possible/practical?

Yes there are fountains with more circles, but I find they don't flow as nice

What poi moves are good for me to practice if I'm a beginner who's quarantined indoors and doesn't have a ton of room?

Chris Pyk I have been practicing Poifu and Poitruvian man. These are moves that help your flow even when you don’t have poi in your hands. Nick has put out some videos about that. They are very good videos. Sometimes I just hold my poi in my hands and do those exercises when I can’t get outside, sometimes I kneel. Also posture is very important and there are some videos on posture as well so that you can minimize wear and tear on your body. These are all really important components and as soon as you’re able to get outside more you will find that everything flows much easier.😉
