This video has that very good "unintentional ASMR" quality. I do not know why people call it ASMR as ASMR means that you are supposed to have goosebumps or excitement from it (the weird people) because this man's voice is like a stereotypical wise grandpa voice. You may not understand or pay attention to what he says specifically, but you know that his voice can put you in a calm and peaceful state and you could fall asleep listening to it.

😅 It's in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science department. From the course description, "This course is an introduction to the theory that tries to explain how minds are made from collections of simpler processes. It treats such aspects of thinking as vision, language, learning, reasoning, memory, consciousness, ideals, emotions, and personality. It incorporates ideas from psychology, artificial intelligence, and computer science to resolve theoretical issues such as wholes vs. parts, structural vs. functional descriptions, declarative vs. procedural representations, symbolic vs. connectionist models, and logical vs. common-sense theories of learning." See ocw.mit.edu/6-868JF11 for more info. Best wishes on your studies!

We can do things and we do not know how we did it. We literally know not what we do, so explaining that is kinda hard. If we are much more fortunate than we have been, some day an AI will make the same realization. 🤔

Kolmogorov complexity says that the length of the description of a string of size n is log(n) + f where f is a constant. So, there is a way to provide a description of "john + Jane = robert" outside of just restating the string.

Oh there is a code to consciousness I would not use Consciousness as any word particular Everything is by fate of consciousness Everything mimics something about God Even our activities The entire structure of language and learning and intelligence perhaps if you can continuate which might happen at late stages of your life where God is already well it's not annoyed when it was set to be This time was not said to be an existence will crumble But what do I know better than the opposite side rooting it on You must know something I don't Rooting on their own death Is everything about life being scared about dying and on the other side being pressured to do so And a president saying I'm a good man?.......right .... all you can do is wish for better company And possibly related seens or becomings Understanding is felt in the weirdest places and losses are more extreme than one could possibly imagine People who have to be forced to be addicted to pain and it only knows how to hurt you further more and more and no matter what you will lose everything and it's like it hopes you lived on top of the world But no I didn't very poor and sucky every goddamn day I hope that sorry son of a b**** don't think I was living it up So time alone to myself wasn't all that bad either I wish I knew another me that one's complicated Multiplicity is a very good movie but it never does move past 1...... only cloning Nobody was talking about cloning or duplicating nothing external

There's the story of Einstein explaining his theory to Bohr, and after a couple of days Bohr thought Einstein understood his theory, (but he did not). This is to be expected until probable experience corresponds with possible experiments in so degree. This Professor shows the symptoms of also "knowing what he is talking about", because it is difficult to put actual observed brain component functions into precise wording. The (Magical Thinking) Name is not the (coherence-cohesion objective) Thing. Likewise identifying components of function by self appointed author of a study, specific to the external appearance of the item, is ...? (False and misleading, Theoretical, pre/non Scientific?)
