You are so exactly right, it's wash, rinse and repeat. They pretend to wash is over, rinse it out and then repeat the cycle over and over, it's always your fault.
That is why you must not show the narcissist any fear, you must go no contact asap, plan an exit strategy, you must leave the narcissist as soon as your able to, you must expose the narcissist for who they really are (if it’s safe to do so) and make sure you have no sympathy or mercy on the narcissist whatsoever, that same way they had no mercy on you during all those years of hell they gave you ……it’s time to take your life back from this demons by all means necessary. 👍✊🙏
In my experience, They will not always take revenge, yet they can hold the grudges.and they can just move on with their lives seeking other supplies. because they are not able to get that from you.

Yep. How about, I am elderly and live with my daughter and son in law. You know, no matter what I ever do, he has a very twisted way of defining my role in the family. I am not accepted, always the enemy, etc. Oh my gosh, I didn't realize how nutty, vindictive, and secretly abusive a guy can be to everybody individually in the family. But I get the worst. He proclaimed to the whole family, and apparently his extended family, that I am a Demon. Really?? God help me. I can't move because my daughter needs me to help out with special needs and kids and the house. I have a permanent injury to my shoulder now from a very fast flying through the air full ice tray, because this guy was very angry at one of the kids, not me. It was a scene from The Shining. He thinks weirdly all the time that I am putting laxative in his coffee. He thinks that he has multiple cancers or whatever, and pitifully being forced to live. Poor guy is miserable. He told me proudly that his I.Q. is 180. Wow, Einstein was only 160. 😂 So much negativity and paranoia. So many times that he is nice, but it is a setup for some type of cruelty. Good thing that I have been a Battered Women's Advocate. That helps.
