First, I want to say how sorry I am Beth to hear about your brother. My heart goes out to you and all your family. Secondly I want to say THANK YOU FOR TAKING US ALONG ON THIS TRIP!! This is fantastic! I can’t wait for the cooking school!
Thank you so much. I appreciate your kind words and thoughts🙏🏻 And oh, get ready for the cooking school! It's epic ha! So much footage to get through to make it a video that makes sense! I couldn't stop shooting, everything was so interesting and fabulous! Ha!
When I was in Milan, I lit candles at the duomo for lost family members. Something about the ancient ritual is comforting. My favorite glove store is in The Galleria but since I've retired to Florida, I don't get a chance to wear those treasures. It was wonderful to see the city again. I look forward to your cooking school video. I do the dishes, but my husband loves to cook. Sounds like a great trip.
Somehow I missed the news about your brother's passing. I'm so sorry, Beth. My husband lost his brother last November, so I understand the shock and the grief. How lovely that you could light a candle for him in such a special church. I'm sure he was with you in spirit. Sending hugs and best wishes for a wonderful trip with your family. I hope your daughter finds the right school!
Thank you for sharing your trip with us, you are always so upbeat and positive Beth, a true breath of fresh air thank you. Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your brother, so sorry.
Italy is on my bucket list. Your family is so sweet. Good luck to your daughter. Hope she picks Milan. What a dream place to visit. Thanks for sharing. Really enjoy your videos.
Aww so glad you enjoyed it! Stay tuned for next week's eps at the cooking school in Tuscany! One of my bucket list items! Was such a joy to experience it with my daughters! :)
So much fun to be taken along on your travels and the wonderful food and of course gelato stops. So sorry to hear about your brother’s passing and what a lovely tribute to him to light a candle for him. Can’t wait until you take us to the cooking school.
Beth, I am so sorry about your brother's passing. That was a very touching part in the cathedral lighting a candle for him. ❤ Can't wait for all of your upcoming videos. Loved Milan!!
Beth, so sorry to hear of your loved brother's passing, at only 48. Your wonderful family will all support each other through this sadness. I just wanted you to know how much your videos mean to me. Whenever I'm sad or depressed, I watch one of them. As I've said before, you should be bottled, because you're instant sunshine!
Beth, I love you in your Californian garden and kitchen. But I absolutely adore you whenever you’re in Europe. Wish you would never leave and keep gifting us with this scrumptious content! ❤
OMG! Milan is still on my list and your video makes me want to go back a bag! Thank you for sharing your trip with us. Can't wait to see your cooking school video and of course enjoy another favourite, your darling house in France!
So glad you enjoyed it! Oh the cooking school video is going to be epic ha! Editing it now! I have 2 hours a footage I need to make sense of! Wish me luck! 🤣
Looking forward to seeing you as a student in cooking school and your take back. Also pls share with us what. Are you getting for your kitchen from Milan. I felt lecruset price was so cheap in france than in other parts of the world there must be a factory outlet. Looking forward to seeing those pics of your unique finds
Dear Beth, Thank you again for sharing your life with us. I am truly sorry about your brother's passing. You carry him with you in all you do. See you on the next episode.
Beth, I am so sorry for your loss. Your brother was so young. My heart aches for your family. Lighting a candle for him is so important. My prayers are with you. 🙏🏼
@@EntertainingWithBeth you did a great job on that video. I love the galleria, the Dumo cathedral the streets, and the gelato. It really was nice to see that again. Great memories❤️
You can really tell you and your siblings are family!! Wonderful pictures. I lost my dad last August we are also close knit, I take comfort in knowing their love never leaves us. Hope you are having a wonderful and safe trip!! ❤
Oh Beth so sad to hear about the loss of your brother. Hoping the time spent abroad will be a balm to your souls and that you and your family can spend time in sweet reflection on memories of your brother. Your video is lovely as always. When I went to Italy in my 20’s I made a point to stop at every gelato stand I saw on our trip. It was the most amazing treat ever!…I’ve never had any in the states as good. But, it is possible the ambiance had something to do with the taste there ;)
I am so sorry to hear about your brother. What a lovely way to keep his memory alive in Milan. Love it that you and your beautiful family take us on this trip, can’t wait for the next video. 🧑🍳😘
So sorry to hear of your Brother's passing. I'm glad you were able to seek some solace in Italy since it was a place that you all wanted to visit. TFS your adventures so far.
What a beautiful video Beth, thank you for sharing with us! ❤ I’m so sorry to hear about your brother, may his memory continue to live always with you in love. Blessings to you and yours. 🌸
@EntertainingWithBeth YES! It is important WORK, so that the rest of us (who may never get to Italy), can also have a taste!! We appreciate your sacrifice 😂
Beth, I am so sorry to hear about the untimely passing of your brother. I truly hope that the memories of beautiful shared times and the moments when you feel him with you all, help you and your family cope with him not being here. I’ve been a subscriber for a few years…I think I found you right before the covid hit…so thank very much for the content! I love seeing your gorgeous family on this video. Look forward to experiencing Milan myself on my European summer in 2024!
This is a great video Beth thank you. The food , the architecture… l did see on your dad’s instagram about the loss of your brother, I’m so sorry , what a tragic loss for your family. Lightning a candle in the cathedral was a beautiful way to honor him. My dad passed away at the same age and the same way. I’m looking forward to your video on the cooking school.
I was in Milan in April and that walking was difficult. I missed so much of what you saw. Was worn out after doing the roof in the rain and we were trying to avoid the crowds at the Galleria. We also were on a budget as we had to take cabs so much. We did go to the Museo which is next to the Duomo and it was a small jewel . My husband is not a foodie so I missed all the great food. I am envious of your visit.
So sorry about your brother he was so young😢I have to tell you that out of all the RU-vidrs you are my favorite you do everything so well and tell your husband that rum raisin is my favorite it’s always been thank you so much for sharing and see you on the next one❤
I know SO young! And newly married with 2 small kids, 5 yr old and 1 yr old. Such a heart break 🥲 So glad you enjoy the videos! If you like Rum Raisin, and find yourself in Milan, you must get to Peck's their Rum Raisin Gelato is insane! Don't anyone light match near it! You may ignite ha!
@@EntertainingWithBeth Thank you for the tip I usually buy Häagen-Dazs it’s gotten a little pricey because of the size of the container I eat and don’t realize it’s all gone so I’m gonna try to make it myself with blonde raisins soak them in Rum and make your regular vanilla ice cream and add The raisins after a week of been cured maybe I’ll work I’ll let you know my rum raisin knock off😁
I guess I missed your posts about your brother. I am so sorry for your loss. It's good that you remember him as you enjoy some of his favorite things along the way during your travels. You have a beautiful family! I am enjoying seeing you all enjoying Milan together. Those meals look incredible! I can't wait to see more of your time in Europe.
Beth, this was a wonderful video. I felt like I was right there with you in Milan. Blessings to you and your family especially your brother Joe. His memory is a blessing now and forever.
YOU ARE A GEM AMONG GEMS!!!!! So dang entertaining, inspiring and LOVABLE! Love seeing you have so much fun with your gorgeous girls and handsome hubby TOO!!!! You are blessed!
This was absolutely so much fun to watch. Your family is lovely and my deepest condolences on losing your much loved brother. Whatever you learn to cook share with us because you always make it look so easy. Believe me I need easy.
Oh Beth, I can’t tell you how happy I am you posted this video because I remember going to the gallery and the Duomo in Milan but it’s been so long since I’ve seen them (2010). My husband and I went there together on a tour(A musical tour) and we didn’t get to spend enough time looking at either one. And we can’t go back now, because I am disabled from a stroke and can’t walk. He also is a big walker! I call him the road warrior! As soon as we got to a city, he was out walking around finding where everything was especially coffee! I look forward to your cooking school video❤
I am so sorry to hear about your stroke. My (Italian) husband had a series of strokes, he's also disabled and basically unable to walk also. He can "navigate" around our apartment, but that's about it. Before his strokes, he enjoyed going for walks also.
Oh my gosh Beth, you your husband and girls are so beautiful! I'm so sorry for the loss of your dear brother. Your family looks very close indeed! Thank you for the video. I can't wait for more!
Nice share of Milan, and it was very beautiful of you to speak of your brother, hear his name, and acknowledge your loss. What better way to show how much he meant to you. My co dolences on your loss. I lost my mother last year and can empathize. I look forward to seeing your school video. Enjoy your next adventure. Blessings.
Thanks for sharing your trip…so exciting. I’m very sorry to hear the sad news about your brother. Devastating to you all I know…so sudden and so young. Sad..😔❤️
I look forward to your Europe vlogs each summer! Can’t wait to see the cooking school vlog. And hope your daughter finds the right school for her. So exciting!
I love watching your Europe vlogs! I watch a lot of Europe travel vlogs and yours are some of the best I’ve found! Those pictures of the elderly Italian women on the mantle are hilarious 😆 And your husband looks so much like George Clooney! Enjoy your family travels. Can’t wait to watch more, thank you for sharing ☺
This brought back so many great memories from when I visited Milan in 2015! I'm with Felipe: walking through a city is the best way to experience it! Especially outside of America, you just learn so much more about a city and its culture when you walk, as opposed to being in a fast-moving vehicle and missing all the hidden gems. Some of the best places I've visited were unexpected finds on a walk!
Oh my goodness, what an amazing chronology of your beautiful trip so far. Looking forward to seeing more wonderful events. The food selection at the restaurants looked fabulous. Merci Beth…..🌺🙏🌺
Ha! Yes I imagine that must be such fun to see what foreigners pick up on! Like the dining in the streets! Just my favorite! One of my favorite memories was years ago I was in Positano, dinning in this little local restaurant in a small square. It was during the World Cup soccer tournament, and the owner of the restaurant had dragged out a huge screen projector! And everyone was there dinning in the street, eating pizzas, drinking wine and cheering on Italy during the match! I felt like I was in a Fellini movie ha! :)
@@EntertainingWithBeth these are the best memories when travelling abroad! Enjoying food, chatting with people, and taking our time to talk with them or to enjoy with together local traditions or soccer victories😹😹. Hope the cooking school was great and that you’re going to show us other yummy recipes❤️🤤🤤
Beth, Loved this Milan tour. Having just returned yesterday from Italy, this reminds me how quickly I want to return. I really appreciate your honesty about wanting to go a little more "upscale" after being cramped in a tiny Paris hotel with 4 people and one bathroom, etc. The snapshot you included was so relatable with all of your family's luggage strewn about.
Good evening Beth! What a beautiful way to start your vacation in Paris and Milan! You certainly have a great walking guide and the food looked scrumptious! Beth, I’m very sorry though to hear of your brother’s passing. So young, a very handsome man. I know you have great memories to carry with you. Thank you for sharing your trip! See you in the countryside! From here in the USA, Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸💕
Gorgeous views … that was such a fun touch w putting soccer jerseys on the back of the chairs … sry to hear abt ur brother what a touching tribute to him … never thought to take a serious look at a cooking class in another country hmmm
Milan is a very nice city for students. My son stayed 5 months there last year as a trainee at Polytechnico and he enjoyed this time so much. We went to see him and your tour reminds me ours one year ago 😉 but we added the Scala . Good luck for school research!
Oh Beth, losing a loved one, especially so young, leaves a piece of your heart missing. We loved Milan too, and arrived there by local train from the lake region. That was an experience. I’m so excited to have your travelblog coming. Your family is lovely. I attended a cooking class at Casa Gregorio in Italy and the experience was amazing. Not only cooking but so many food related tours. You allow us to travel right along with you and your warmth makes your like a sister. Safe summer dear Beth.
I am so excited about the start of the new season. I too share my deepest condolences of your loss. Your family is so beautiful. Enjoy your time with them traveling.
Oh I will! Since the loss of our brother my sister and I have really been leaning on each other and cherishing our times together! Can't wait to have her and my nephew experience the French House!
@@EntertainingWithBeth That is wonderful. I wanted to share, that I too am a University of Arizona Alumni. Beardown! I saw in one of your videos you went, and I thought that was so cool.
Such a whirlwind couple of days! Beautiful city, beautiful hotel, beautiful food and all enjoyed with your beautiful family. Truly the stuff of dreams! I know you were in your element at the cooking school and how fun to make those memories with your daughters. Speaking of the girls, I hope your daughter had good school visits and saw enough to help her decide. It's such a huge thing! Thank goodness, when you're that age, it doesn't seem so very huge and momentous or none of us would ever go anywhere or get anything done to start our lives! 😄 Such a sweet way to remember your brother. Mine was 44 when he, too, died of a heart attack. My oldest friend's brother died on the one year anniversary at age 41 and they were close so the three of us were friends. Isn't it wonderful that we can think of them with love and remember our times together in unusual places and with smiles? Can't wait for the cooking school video, but be sure to enjoy and to rest! Happy 4th of July, Beth! 🧨🇺🇸❤️🤍💙🇺🇸🧨
Beth, wonderful time for you and your family. Thank you for sharing the experience and the personal story of the loss of your brother. Blessings to all!!!! I soooo love your videos!!!
Oohhh, I'm green all over with envy....loving your travels girl...umm Milan!!! Oh Beth let's switch lives...😅😅😅😅....I live vicariously through your lenses 😅😅😅😅..thanks for sharing. A bientot. Bisous..😊
Weren't those pictures hysterical! 🤣 It was as if someone who planted them there had the same sense of humor, because they were a bit odd choices for a hotel room don't you think? LOL! 😂🤣🤣🤣
Wonderful video thank you Beth. I’m sure I must have Italian in me some where as I love everything Italian, the people, the sights and the food. 😂My condolences for your loss. 🙏💕
I'll be visiting Milan for the first time in August, so I had to watch your video. I'm so enjoying it! You won't believe this but I knew your brother. We lived in the same neighborhood for years. I'm so sorry for your loss. ❤
Hello Beth. First of all, thank you so much for taking us along, showing the beauty of this country. Italy is one of those countries that I would love to visit one day!🤞🏻and I’m so sorry about your brother. My heart goes out to you and your family.❤And speaking of your husband, being a walker, I can relate to that. My husband is the same! So, by the end of the day, I’M DEAD WITH LOWER BACK AND FEET PAIN!🤦🏻♀️😂 I hope you guys have a wonderful time in Italy and France.😘❤️
I’m so sorry to hear about your brother Beth, it must have been very hard for you and your family. ❤️ Thank you so much for this video! I love your travel vlogs!!! It makes me want to go back to visit!! 😊
❤Hi Beth. Beautiful food, scenery and video. Belated condolences about your brother. Have a fun and safe trip!! Oh, calories don't count on vacation. Lol
I love seeing your adventures in France and Italy. Reminds me of my past family vacations. I’m so sorry to hear about your brother. I also lost my brother last year due to cancer. He was 47 years old.
