I think Lady Guinness’ suicide note sums it up - “If I had been born poor, I would have been happy.” Vast wealth, unquestioned power, ruthless patriarchs, unchecked ambition would seem to be the true curse of these families.
I always laugh when fabulously wealthy people say stupid things like that, knowing nothing about poverty. People who have no inner resources or appreciation for their blessings are not to be pitied. After all, she could have gone to join a nunnery or simply abandoned the money so she could be happy.
Alcoholism and other long term substance abuse can account for a great deal in any family. As for the Kennedy's, their horrendous treatment of Rose did not help their karmic cause.
Being poor doesn't bring happiness no more than being wealthy. As someone who is poor I would rather have the comfort of wealth because it doesn't bring happiness but peace of mind.
As far as the Kennedys, I don't look at it so much as a curse but more of sweet justice for all the crooked, illegal, immoral acts the family has been involved in for decades.
I believe that when the Kennedys put Rosemary in the asylum the curse started, had they not put her in the asylum the curse wouldn't have started, that's just me though
There was a Kennedy that was also killed by a surfboard. The car was a woodie and they loaded the board across the back seat sticking out the rolled down windows. There were no neck rests, and the board struck a pole on the passenger side causing the left side of the board to be driven into Kennedy's neck which broke on impact. His wife and kids were unharmed, except for witnessing his death of course.
My mother's side of the family has had insane bad luck with car crashes. There's been a fatality in every single generation in the family due to car wrecks. It's like they're cursed

It keeps getting diluted down the bloodline until vanquished or fulfills its condition of origin. In case of Kennedys, it's the mercury pitru dosha. It occurs when a young girl, daughter or sister is tormented by an individual. It's generational in nature.

A correction. Kathleen Kennedy Harrington (Devonshire) was married to Billy Harrington heir to be the Duke of Devonshire who was killed in action in 1944. She was traveling with her new boyfriend and killed in a plane crash on their way to meet her father.
I didn't know that 2 of the Kennedy brother's were killed. It sounds like they need to stay out of airplanes and any other things that has killed them.

I have always been fascinated by the kennedy curse..have read many books....we all die but the kennedy's truly do have an unmistakably large amount of tragic circumstances. I originally left a joke here before I got to the end of the video, but had to come back and change it. I found it a little odd that out of all the monstrous and terrible things the Kennedys did throughout their generations here in America that it is one thing vaguely attached to Jewish people that is put up as some possible cause for a curse. This is honestly how anti-Semitism starts, with suggestions like this making Jews seem like "the other," somehow magical, bearing ill intent against others as a group. Jewish people, by faith or birth, aren't magical and don't place curses. It is just as inappropriate as saying it was "African voodoo" from slaves that "cursed" Madame LaLaurie. It takes the atrocities that an actual human being committed against other human beings and minimizes that fact by injecting the story of some mystical, nefarious curse placed by minorities or those outside the cultural norms who were the actual victims of abuse. It acts as a way into turning the perpetrator into the victim while demonizing those that were caused the most harm. Even if you consider it a valuable piece of the story due to the cultural context at the time, there are ways to present it much better and less potentially harmful than this. As a fan and long time subscriber to your other channel I hope you'll see this and take it into consideration in the future. This happens sometimes by accident and I'm not prescribing any type of willful malice to the video, sometimes it's only when other people can make you aware of an issue you can actually see it for yourself.

I’m sure if you looked REALLY closely at many other families (middle-class/not wealthy, ‘well-adjusted’, ‘normal ppl’) you will see people living double-lives (educated and hard-working but we don’t talk about the nasty things we’ve done because we are not under a microscope).. What the rich daughter said before dying reeks of ‘grass is greener’ ism (she feels things would’ve been different if she had been poor). Years ago I saw an Aussie news piece: 2 sons born to a rich mom and a poor mom found out 15 yrs later they had been switched at birth. The ending = both boys living with the RICH mom (the poor woman’s son decided she wasn’t good enough after all). The Kennedy family also had ties with the mafia and the with the crime boss from Chicago. I met this guy in Joliet prison who would tell stories on how when John was in Texas he was the one who shot from the grassy knoll with an explosive round that made his head snap back. He said he bit into the shell and dropped it at the scene. He said that they were hired to do a few jobs and the thank you was Bobby going after them with feds. Also John was supposed to send air support during the bay of pigs but at the last second he declined and sentenced American soldiers and Cuban refugee's to death because of that one action. But thats how politicians are, fickle, friends and allies one moment, the next moment you are an enemy and targeted by the same politicians.
