Here's my insight on home hardware and transportation. I work for a major Canadian home hardware retailer, and we are forecasting the sales to get slightly lower for the rest of the year. I did an RFP a few months back for our distribution with about 75 TL and LTL carriers. Two years ago they were more independent, but this time I negotiated a 3 year contract with over 25% cost reduction. They are hungry, they have too many trucks, too many truckers, and not enough business. I'm not saying those are/are not buying opportunities, it's just a heads up that those sectors are not yet out of the woods and could see more declines.

Sbux is my favorite stock and my favorite latte ❤❤. I picked up over 100 shares. Now every time I go, I am say to myself I am a shareholder and it makes my latte it a hundred times better

Good Video! I retired from the Teamsters Union in 2004, I used to unload Old Dominion and Ups on the docks. Both were good companies and had great drivers! Sbux doesn’t get me excited at all, as I’ve said on many channels, I’d never pay $6+ for coffee, if I did, I wouldn’t be where I’m at today. To each their own though.

BMY is a mess. So is SBUX. Just look at their guidance (a much more important metric than earnings). Just because a stock appears to be "discounted" doesn't mean it's a good buy. To quote Warren Buffett, I'd rather buy a great company at a fair price than a fair company at a great price.

@@openfor45 Honestly, I'd take that pile of cash and put the bulk of it in a HYSA right now and DCA into certain companies if/when they hit fair value. A lot of the stocks that I see people recommending in this comment thread are still overvalued in my opinion, like MCD, V, and MRK among others.

I just bought 110 shares of Bristol Meyers and 80 shares of Franklin Resources. Realty Income looks good at $52.18, but when you zoom out to the 1-month graph, it looks like more $50 shares are coming soon. Broadstone Net Lease is the same -- great price, now, but maybe wait for a tiny bit more discount?

O had a great earnings report and just bumped dividend, but I believe Red Lobster makes up about 1% of their portfolio. Could be some headwinds because of that mess. One to watch!

@@rynewilliams they aren’t keeping up with the times. There is nothing innovative to keep them going in the future. Everything is moving online and with that they can’t compete with Costco and now Amazon and any other tech type company that will come in and steal market share. I own homes in two separate and completely different markets (CA and ID) and have watched both Walgreens and CVS decline into places I won’t go into unless I have to. Both are ghetto and as boomers die off so will these companies. CVS is slightly better that Walgreens though so maybe that will help but CVS needs to figure out how to appeal to people with disposable income
