“You can do this yourself” ummm yeah, if you put it together first 😂 don’t sell yourself short - you are talented! To look at the blank canvas, identify what needs fixing, come up with a creative, beautiful design that transforms is NOT what “anyone can do” I look at those same images and I’m like, “yeah, needs some love” my method is plant some stuff, move it around, plant more, rip some out, etc. I’ve learned so much from your channel including adding what I call my “Bobby boulders” 😂 just wanted to give you the props you deserve - thank you for your teacher’s heart

You do a Great job and are my Favorite RU-vid Designer! I watch all your videos and have Subbed and hit the Notification bell as well! I just finished a small front of the house update for a client and added a Arborvitae and a Majesty Palm along with replanting a few smaller plants. The owners dog had Peed on the yard and killed some grass so i widened the beds a bit and took a few pieces of the sod and relocated them to the dead areas and filled in the beds with Red Mulch. The owner couldnt have been more Happy! You are truly my Inspiration on lawn and garden design!

SPRING Break! I totally just came across this for the first time. Where were you 6 months ago?! I had a blank slate & had no idea what to do but was required to have my backyard done within 120 days from purchase of my new home. I loved the landscapers I chose but I paid the price. I would love your opinion of what I decided to do & what you would've done! BTW: You are a cutie pututie!

Thank you for including a Canadian property example (for reference Calgary is about 175 miles North of Glacier National Park Montana). What was your estimated cost on that one?

You bet! DIY Cost = $20K Includes deck, pavers, plants, decorative rock, mulch. Lots going on in that one.

culvert. We have them too but the city won't allow us to fill or decorate in front of, as about 5 feet from Street is city property and they excavate every other year for water flow. Florida

Ozark wasn't based off Branson. It was northern MO at lake of the Ozarks. Brandon is south at table Rock lake.

I live in NV, the desert, I want this dry Tuscan look. No pavers, just decomposed granite. I already have the potted citrus. I want to use my two potted figs for privacy on the patio. The only tree I want to plant in the SW side for privacy is my Pomegranate I want to keep to less than 8 feet. A firepit as a focal point, and pizza oven.

I live in arkansas. My grass looks terrible. I have it weeded and fertilized and mowed by a lawn care service. My question to you is, am I better off to let my lawn rest this spring and summer? Am 71 widow and have the worse looking lawn in my neighborhood. 😢

There is still time. Call a lawn company to aerate and overseed the yard. Get some new grass growing and work that with a fertilization program. Lots of lawn companies that can help you. :)
