This might be slightly off topic, but in example house 1 & 2, would you consider painting the brick? Seems it might update the curb appeal along with the proposed landscape.
@@Steven-Arkansas I like painting brick to update spaces. We did that to our house and I can certainly see that being an improvement on most homes including 1 and 2.
My Terrier mix Baxter is 17 and a half years old. Almost lost him last year to Kidney cancer. We had his kidney removed and be is still hanging in there. 15 months cancer free but slowing down. Losing a dog is heart wrenching, the love a dog gives can never be replaced.
Sorry about your pet’s declining health, I’m an animal lover too so I know it’s tough to see them go through that. I enjoyed this video format, it’s helpful to see the design come to life on the screen-if only it were that quick & easy in real life.😂 I especially appreciate that you provide pricing information in break out detail, instead of the overall cost. I also like that you have videos for projects that are for average/typical homeowners!
I’m so sorry for your loss Bobby ! I know exactly how it feels like ,I lost my beautiful dachshund Bambi last year ,we had her gor 17 years! She was so special ,so full of energy,so sassy,so bossy ,she demanded what she wanted all the time ! My house is so quite without her ! She loved us and we loved hef so so much! Now I have still Baxter ,he’s 16/1/2,they were so happy together! He hasn’t been the same without her ! He’s hanging in there but he’s getting really old too!! My condolences Bobby ! I love your channel !!❤

Sorry about your pup. So hard, especially when you’re being strong for you kid(s) too. I moved into a split level last year. Very cool mid century house; exactly my style…on the inside. The prior owners loved flowers but hated trees. They had 30’ evergreens taken down to make tiny little flower beds all over the place. I counted 19 peonies and 15 rose bushes…seriously. Everything is perennial and about 2’ high. I need winter interest. We’re in Ohio, so pretty long winters. Also, we need to with go around large stumps and roots or have those ground out professionally. I would love to get some ideas from you! I always tell my husband I want you to design our landscape Lol. So, what’s this discount you speak of? 😊

Thank you for the feedback. No, this does not include irrigation cost but I know there are several cost-effective drip systems that are pretty easy to install. Something for me to share in future videos for sure.
I'm on borrowed time with my bulloxer (half bulldog/half boxer, Mr. Milo. He's 13 and at the beginning of the yr, started having seizures. He's on meds & still eats & he's not in pain. So, just loving on him while I still have him. It's hard! Good luck with your fur baby 🙏!
Another good video! I'd love to see a video that covers color theory for common house exteriors with plants and hardscape. Red brick homes, acid washed brick, white aluminum siding, log cabins, maybe a variety of common vinyl siding colors. Our house is white aluminum siding (common in our area) with a lot of concrete sidewalks and patios. We've looked at ideas online but I'm more interested in the 'science' of color for exterior design.
Good video just 1 question, the 3 trees that have the mounds are you not worried about root rot from the mulch being higher than the roots/ base of tree? Thank you
Thank you. They are at a height where the roots should grow down and out but it is a possibility that they may start to branch out over time. We shall see. It's my house so not too much concern.
