there are a couple more reasons why you need to delay the super dash. some characters (including base goku) can super dash immediately and still get the re-jump j.L to reach and hit the opponent, but the following j.L will whiff as you cross under to the other side. this means that a lot of characters don't need to delay the superdash as much (or at all) to get the re-jump to work in the corner. another reason you have to delay the super dash is because some characters' j.M's (after j.66) will whiff otherwise.
its a bigger delay than what you would think. im guessing you are using the stick on the controller for movement (correct me if I am wrong). I find it easier to use the d-pad. When I first started I use to use the stick but I found movement was hard with stick. I then swapped to d-pad where I found movement was easier.
The problem I have is after the dash medium, you must super jump to do the jump light. Right? I have a problem doing the super jump, is there an easier way? If you hold special they do ki blast first. And it’s slightly to slow, switching too input it on the directional pad is to slow and unreliable, it. Looks like in this video you did it without super jump, can it. Be done like this every time is it just a Timing thing?
Aight so there is no super jump in universal rejumps. It is a dash jump which is performed by dashing forward or double tap forward and then jumping diagonally toward your opponent. If you cant get the dashjump then practice it by jumping and just before you land input the dashjump and you should fly forward the moment you land. If you struggle with the rejump you can practice it by just straight up doing SD into the rest
I've struggled with this fucking thing actually since launch .. I've become pretty consistent with it except for the fact that I can only do it in 3 or less frame delay and only on a single side LMAO if it try the other side I mess up everytime like my brain knowss what to do but my hands are so foreign to that motion
So 3 or less delay is good because most of your games are gonna be in that range of delay. I am the same when it comes to only doing it going one side XD. For me the best thing is to go over the steps in my head and figure out what I am doing wrong when I rejump on my weak side.
I always fail the dash jump L. I just can't get the timing right. And what's worse is that i can sometimes only do it on the right side. Idk if it's the controller cause it's got a weird d-pad or my stupid fingers.
Ay bro dont worry about that ma dude. I still have the same issues as you do. The best advice I can give is to make sure the SD is delayed as long as possible. The delay after (66)jM and (669)jL is longer than what you would think
I've got two questions in mind, 1. How and when do i buffer m after the 66 because sometimes the jm does not come out at all even thought the output is there, do i need to wait for the dash animation or is it just game error? 2. When ever I finally connect everything it always turns into a blue combo after 669-jL, is it because the enemy is still to high or is it just slow timing?
So for your first question, try to individualize the inputs. Meaning try to separate the dash and the M inputs because sometimes you will try to do them at the same time or even press m in between the two 6 inputs. As for your second question I need to test a few things but I believe the problem is timing. When exactly do you get the blue combo? Between dash M and dashjump L or after dashjump L lands?
Man I can’t with this. Ik I’m late to this stuff but every time I got down and hit the ground there already falling down and when I jump there recovered already
In the mean time practice by doing normal dashes on the ground. Then practice jumping and just before you land input dashjump (669). There should be no delay between when you land and the dashjump Next once you have this down practice by doing SD - the rest. Skip the 5M start and start with just the SD. Remember to input the dash only once SD connects. Do it too early and you will either do a normal jM or nothing will come out. @@InspectorGaming1258 I that could be the problem. Was watching another video and the dude explained that inputting double tapping 6 will help a lot . Going to hit the lab and test it out rn
@@InspectorGaming1258 well it depends which server / region we playing on. Coz then there will be alot of delay. But I managed to land a rejump at least twice. I just need the muscle memory for the double tap 6 then I will be all set
They Said the new super Dash mechanic (No need for second air Dash when holding sd Button)makes rejumps much easier. Do you think so too? because i think i'm dropping More by using this mechanic than doing it like before
@@InspectorGaming1258 Sure. You do it as before but you hold the sd Button until you finished the rejump (including the jL). Like that you just need to Input 9L for the jumping light so no 66 needed for the second Part of the rejump. I Hope its clear what i mean :D so you hold the sd while doing :66M , 9L
Ok thank you for this info. This is gonna be its own video for sure. So basically you can rejump without having to delay your SD but you still need to dashjump (669). I think it could very well make rejump 10x easier once you get used to it. Try doing delayed SD - 66M -(dl)669L while still holding SD. It connected a few times for me
Aight i have to go somewhere real quick ill be about an hour - hour and a half. In the mean time join my discord and we can have a look at what it is thats going on
Its the act of landing on the ground and jumping again mid combo. This resets your superdash making it so that you can superdash twice in a combo if you choose so. Generally used for greater corner carry
