3 Essential Skylanders For Each Game 

What is inevitable right now is that you you have a favorite Skylander that you think is essential for a particular game that I didn't include in the video. If that is the case, please leave it in a comment including why you think that Skylander is essential!

In my opinion Trigger happy is one of the most important Skylanders in the game. He would def deserve a spot😊

My honest take on this (excluding starter pack Skylanders): SSA: Eruptor, Chop Chop, Bash Giants: Pop Fizz, Thumpback, Flashwing Swap Force: Magna Charge, Pop Thorn, Night Shift Trap Team: Krypt King, Wildfire, Tread Head Superchargers: Stormblade, Fiesta, Dive Clops Imaginators: Tri-Tip, Ambush, Chain Reaction

I feel like the three starter pack figures for spyros adventure are already perfect! Spyro, Trigger Happy, and Gill Grunt are amazing for starting the series

For Swap-Force, my go-to all rounder is Spy-Shift (Spy Rise top, Night Shift bottom), as it can do damage and also tank it (especially at max level with I think 980 HP with the Santa hat). It’s also veryyyyy OP, as it has range and close combat capability.

I would say the starter pack has some essentials every time but in Superchargers it depends on which one you buy.

I’d prefer Chop Chop over Stealth Elf, I think he just has a lot more to his gameplay overall and makes it more interesting. Fright Rider is a strange pick for essential characters, but more power to you. I would’ve recommended Flashwing or Tree Rex.

Out of all of these, I think Swarm from Giants grabbed my attention the most. He looks amazing to play!!!

Great picks overall! Fright Rider, Pop Fizz, Boom Jet, and Stormblade in particular are spectacular characters. For SSF, I would recommend Spy Rise, who has a unique moveset with climbing abilities, slowing projectiles, a laser that reveals enemy health bars, and the Spyder Sting ability (which allows him to heal and one-hit kill enemies at the same time). Not many other Skylanders can claim such a versatile - and powerful - array of abilities.

with trap team i would replace either gear shift or rocky roll with wallop, he is an absolute boss shredder, and with superchargers id replace spitfire with high volt, cause high volt’s vehicle is easily the best vehicle IMO and he has an amazing defense and fun combos

Little thing about prisme break, I believe he's the only skylander who can destroy the crystals in the molekin mines without a bomb

I still can’t believe that Rocky Roll is more on the rare side, back when he first released I got him very easily in a shop near my house, and I found millions of him over the lifespan of Trap Team and even after. The fact that he’s quite rare to find now is surprising.

Flare Wolf is the epitome of my preferred Skylanders. A good range and a dash/knock-away move means you'll be harder to hit

Personally, would have replaced aurora with Starcast and boom jet for night shift, and gear shift for wallop other than that I 1000% agree with this list

9:11 I like fast Skylanders too like these ones Swarm, Roller Brawl, Gear Shift, Stormblade and Auroa.

I think the most essential for SSA is Zap. He does some good damage and can move around very quickly. He is also very helpful for the speedruns I’m each stage so I think he deserves one of the three spots. I also think Bouncer should be in there for giants since he has pretty good speed and he has fast paced high damage attacks which can be really good. Also maybe Scratch for Swap Force since she has some easy to control attacks that let you easily swap (pun-intended) between enemies

Now this is something I didn’t expect to see today! Although, I guess I shouldn’t be to shocked that you start posting again now that it’s summer.

Trap Shadow is even more flexible than that. His top-half soul gem, aka his Shadow Dash, is unique in Swap Force in that it is a very effective movement ability as-is, allowing you to pair "Trap" with the bottom half of your choice without having to sacrifice effective evasion.

Hello CCG! Its been a while! I actually got Rocky Roll recently since I am aware of his rarity in the aftermarket, but in the UK there are these second-hand gaming stores called C.E.X and I got him for £15. Eventually when I get back from holiday I am very curious to see what Rocky Roll is like in game. I also got Echo (another rare trap team core) 2 years back for just £14 before her price increased to £30 there and despite her high price tag, her moveset is completely worth it and she has become my favourite water skylander, so she is a personal recommendation from me :)

SSA: Trigger Happy, Igniter and Cynder Giants: Bouncer, Pop Fizz, and Flashwing Swap: Free Ranger, Night Shift, and Smolderdash Trap: Gearshift, Krypt King, and Knight Light, I didn't include any cores due to them not being able to open any elemental gates in their own game, stupid Activision! Superchargers: Spitfire, Splat, and Stormblade Imaginators: Starcast, Ember, and Wild Storm, yeah, he's expensive, but fun, and he's about half the price of Ro-Bow, as a cheaper option, Grave Clobber is a good choice.

For superchargers I think thrillipede deserves the spot of an essential skylander, his third ability makes him invincible to enemy attacks and not many skylanders have abilities to protect themselves from harm without needing to harm himself and his third ability gets even better if you go down the top path giving him butterfly wings while bombarding your enemies with grenades

I just wanted to say i have beaten nightmare mode traptanim kaos with only sprocket i will try to do it again but this time ill upload it but first in play trap team on my wii u my ps3 console is at my family's house and im playing kingdom hearts over there

Is blast zone considerable as a must pick? He comes with great versatility, damage potential and speed... But he is in the starter pack so Probably people already have it, they just dont use it well enough Unique features of blast zone : -once upgraded, the bombs can hit almost anything in the area, either 20 meters away or above a very tall wall (as long as blast zone locks on the target, the bombs can fly a lot higher),,, -as if the range wasn't enough, the fire ring has (with one of his paths) one of the highest versatilities in the entire series... Not only his bombs become good source of damage on range, but any projectile from any ally skylander gets a boost in damage as well, making coop quite fun, even when the second player uses sprocket -after the absurd range, his bottom part has simultaneously very good speed, a fire trail and potentially the highest dps of any swapper While charging your rocket dash you get an aura of damage around you, then you have the actual dash which on top of high damage, does high stun and knockback to enemies, you have a flaming aura (depending on the path) that increases even further the damage when charging the dash near an opponent and lastly, the fire trail Recently I've been playing swap force again and i can't say how much impressed i am by what i can do with blast zone (like hitting shielded skylanders in pvp or hitting enemies before they can even see you) People should really stop to say that he is boring, they just don't play it right

Would change Stealth Elf to Gil Grunt in SSA and Deep Dive Gil Grunt to Double dare Trigger Happy in Superchargers. Otherwise very smart and shareable opinions for me :)
