Battle Chef Brigade deserves so much more attention, it is an absolute delight and the gameplay is SO addicting. My one friend and I always play the multiplayer together because it is an absolute blast. There is truly nothing else like it, the hybrid combat and puzzle gameplay is so engaging. I was surprised by how well it meshes together, there's a lot more strategy than you would initially expect! It has a gorgeous art style and a delightful soundtrack to boot, so PLEASE give it a chance if you are looking for a fresh solo or multiplayer experience!

I don't know if it is just the new DLC character John and his relationships to the old characters or also the resulting time to do more of these relatively casual videos, but for me personally this channel just got boosted from Awsome to Masterpiece in the last months.

I adore Glyph. It's definitely a hidden gem. So many levels, with some very, very challenging collectables to find and (somehow) make your way to. So glad it's finally getting some attention. Rain On Your Parade is pretty darn enjoyable too. It's become one of my "loading games" of late (you know, the games I load up and play for a bit while deciding what else to play). Great stuff. Truly.

A fantastic game that nobody talks about is Underhero, a platformer with a unique combat system, Paper Mario-like humor and a nice art style. I just cannot believe how little love this game received.

This should really be a series!! There's so many cool indies I've missed and this is a fantastic way to catch up on them!

Agree with other comments that you guys should make this into a regular series! - these all look great and I’d barely heard of any of them. Another idea I’d love to see you guys tackle in a video or series is games that fill in gaps of franchises that Nintendo has seemingly abandoned in recent years. For instance you look at F-Zero or Star Fox and mention other games that bring something similar to the table (e.g. Fast RMX, GRIP for F-Zero or Everspace, Panzer Dragoon for Star Fox). Anyway, great work as always - continue to really enjoy the chats between the three of you.

Sakuna of Rice and Ruin comes to mind instantly. It's not an exclusive, but it almost feels like it. Damn, it's such a good game, it's literally the definition of "It's better than the sum of it's parts". It has been a while since a game REALLY hooked me and I'll 100% it for sure, I'm at the 201th floor of the Amagaeshi Shrine(it has 300), the recommended level is 100+ and I'm only lvl 38, it's amazing.

I've played a little bit of Glyph already and while the game is perfect, playing it with drift makes it even more challenging (And quite fun honestly)

I finished Rain on your Parade this week and boy oh boy do the NL guys have treats in store the further they get into the game! So many references!

I know Crosscode isn't the rarest game on the switch by any means, but damn, it's easily in my top 3 indie games, I loved it and I think it's massively underrated.

My pick in this subject would be Floor Kids, a game that was launched early in Switch's life. It is just a clever, well designed rhythm game and enforces creativity and variety, and has a killer soundtrack. It really deserves more attention.

Rain On Your Parade sounds like a combination of Untitled Goose Game's mischief with Donut County's mechanics. Both of those games are wonderful to play with my kid, so I might give this a shot (though this one may not be as kid-friendly, lol). Glyph being so cheap right now, sounds like an even better bet. Thanks for the great work as usual

I really love the art style of Battle Chef Brigade and the mix of genres works surprisingly well.

My personal recs on stuff not a lot of people heard of are Mages of Mystralia and CrossCode. Both are in some capacity top down action adventure. The first has got a beautiful vibrant world and an excellent spell crafting system that enables a ton of fun puzzles while the other out-Zeldas Zelda with its amazing dungeons. Not enough people know about those games.

Yooo!! Did anyone notice that in the footage for "Rain on your parade" the level where your protect the bomb is titled "Dust" which MUST be a shout out to Dust and Dust_2 which are legendary maps from acounterstrike and CS Source. Considering you seem to be fending off terrorists and all. Anyways i could be dead wrong. Just throwing that out there for you guys. love the channel ✌️💕

I gotta mention Bug Fables. That game is criminally underrated. It's pretty much the Hollow Knight of RPGs. I really wish it got a similar amount of praise compared to HK.

Shout-out to Tadpole Treble Encore, the Switch remaster of an underappreciated indie gem by Matthew Taranto (creator of Brawl in the Family.) It deserves so much more love than it's gotten since its original release in 2016.

Battle Chef Brigade is pretty much a fantasy version of Iron Chef. Are the NL crew familiar with that show?

An extremely underrated indie game is old school musical, its full of retro game references, has a very funny story mode and is just a fun rhythm game

The first one was one of the first games I bought off of the eshop when I got my switch; I need to go back to it :) I didn't play much but I liked what I played! The other two sound fun too XD

that game battle chef brigade struck a cord with me. i googled it and found out that limited run did a physical print in the us and it was one that best buy picked up. I order it from best buy and after that it was sold out. i might have gotten the last physical copy in the US. thanks it looks really cool

For me it’s the first Yooka-Laylee. I don’t know what people wanted or expected from that game, but for me it felt like the Rare team making a new 3D platformer and it was perfect to me. I love what they did with Impossible Lair, but I would love a second 3D platformer from Playtonic

Welp, I'm adding all three games to my switch wish list.

I never hear anything about Okami or Nights: Journey of Dreams anymore, and I absolutely loved playing both of these games for years. I recently got Okami for the Switch System but it’s just a remake of the Original Game nothing new you know. Besides Pokemon, Digimon, Animal Crossing, and Kirby for my more mainstream games that I play I really enjoyed playing Okami and Nights: Journey of Dreams over and over again, I believe I still have my Original Copies of these game someplace in my bedroom or possibly in storage.

I'm just starting to warm up to my Switch Lite and I'm interested mainly in RPGs. And Switch has a lot of great RPGs. Also looking forward to Switch Pro whenever that's available...

I dismissed Battle Chef Brigade at first it because (it being made by Adult Swim) I thought it was just going to be the usual inappropriate/adult humor. But later I realized I was wrong and went for it, and I'm so glad I did because that game is a gem.

The 3 lesser known Indie games on Switch I would give great reviews to are Bug Fables, Phoenotopia Awakening, and Cattails!

A week ago I finished an indie game called Lost Ember. It’s a short game, but it has a powerful story, great environments, and a nice soundtrack. There are performance issues, but I thought it was a solid game nonetheless.

I'm maybe 70% through Into the Breach and I don't know if I really want to be free or if I never want it to end, please send help.
