If you're by yourself, here are 3 really good shooting drills that simulate actions in a game. Or even better...
If you have a workout partner, use them as a defender... either live or putting a hand up to contest your shot. This makes the drill even more "game like".
Drill #1 - Straight Cuts
This is one of the most common actions in basketball. So you should get really good at shooting off the straight cut!
Take at 10-30 shots on right side and 10-30 on left side.
Drill #2 - L Cuts
Another very common action in basketball. Make sure you can make shots after making a L cut!
Take at 10-30 shots on right side and 10-30 on left side.
Drill #3 - Flare Cuts
Some coaches use flare screens, some don't. But it's a fairly common offensive action you should be prepared for.
Take at 10-30 shots on right side and 10-30 on left side.
