The ONLY person in this entire comment section you can see this truth. It has nothing to do with being a Messi fan. Messi's goal is clearly better than Diego's. He dribbled more players and his path to goal was more difficult. Harder angles, better tactically trained opposition and harder goal overall. Everyone else referencing their age and saying they're older and watching football longer. Non-applicable logic when we objectively analyze both goals.

@onyebuchieke2381 So true. The man has too much solo goals to talk about and discuss. His movement, awareness, speed, stamina, close control and bulldozer mindset is second to none. The man literally massacres 3,4,5 and sometimes 6 men on his path to goal and is unstoppable usually on his slalom. Personally for me, the best solo goal I've ever seen was his 14/15 goal v Athletic Bilbao in the Copa Del Rey Final. It was even deemed scientifically impossible...hm. I'd sort of agree. Yet to see a better goal, in my honest opinion, all factors considered. Second best was his 89th minute solo v Real Madrid in the UCL semi final in 10/11, where Busi lays of the ball near midfield and he launches to deal with Diarra, Khedira, Ramos and Marcelo...can't describe him na bro. He's special to say the least. And I'm a striker bro...still play every week and try to train as much as I could each week as I have a game each Friday. Last Friday we played at indoor small goal / Futsal court and we destroyed everyone. I scored and assisted too. That's why I see things differently.

Come on man, I'm not the biggest fan of Diego Maradona. But he scored his goal against a very good England National football team. The other two were against club teams. Diego Maradona also scored another great dribbled goal against Belgium. Also in the same 1986 FIFA World Cup finals. Diego Maradona did this in back to back matches, against very good international teams on the global stage.
@schlotlat Messi dribbled with more pace, and he dribbled through an entire team. maradona's goal didn't look that good. It looked like a caseoh running, no disrespect. Also, he dribbled through like only 3 players it's an opinion, but come on, messi's is way cooler, way more pace and vision, and the Dribbling is too good.
Maradona did that in world cup game .another level .not local league.moreover he always play for underdog team like Napoli and made history.no other player has done that...Messi is always surrounded with great team mates.unlike Marafona.
