My oldest son born in 1963 loved these old movies. I lost him to a sudden heart attack last year. He was the best son. We used to talk about the old movie stars etc. Those were the good old days.
My lovely Aunt use to fly for American in the 1960's. She spoke about it so fondly over the years. She still had her uniform until she donated it to American for their museum.
How delightful. It was wonderful to see courtesy, manners, respect and good clean fun. Lovely. And those awesome credits at the end. Those were the days. Sighhhh. Thankyou for this movie.

What a great movie. 8A nice, good, clean movie with an excellent cast, not like the crap that's produced today. Fun to watch and wondering just who Jane (Marcy) would pick at the end. And I'm glad at the choice she made. Thanks for a wonderful, classic movie. Joe S
Yay! She chose the Mike I liked best. It was his ease with the little annoying girl on the plane that I knew he was a keeper. But the other two Mikes were great, too. So many choices...

I am amazed at how put together everyone looks. The ladies wear beautiful modest clothes and men look so handsome. Imagine this movie being made today? There would be swearing, s** scenes and trashing of the sexes.
Thank the gods, or whatever, for colorization. Even though this is obviously not a recent job, because it's gotten a lot better, it's still a HUGE improvement! But the hairstyle they gave Jane Wyman here is horrible, and not at all complimentary. She is quite pretty when her hair looks normal, and not like a helmet. I would have refused to wear that!

The movie itself is enjoyable, but the attempt to colonize it is terrible. It would have been infinitely better to keep the original black and white version of it.
