Hey man, love your videos. Sorry for the load of questions but just wondering about the actual invoicing process, what info do you collect or get your customers to sign before & after you do the job? And starting as a 16-year-old, would you recommend liability / business insurance or starting an LLC?
I’m not a lawyer so I cannot give any legal recommendations. However I suggest that everyone have business insurance to help save you from coming out of pocket if you accidentally damage someone’s property. I currently operate as a sole proprietorship and do NOT have an LLC. If you’re 16 I’d recommend keeping it simple and seeing if you can get everyone in your neighborhood to use your service. Door to door sales would be great starting out at 16, just look out for the creeps and weirdos jaha
Hey puff I did my first window job yesterday for 300$, all of the windows on the house flipped inwards so there was no need for a ladder. Instead of using a squeegee and a soap bucket and water I used the SprayWay foaming action glass cleaner. It worked super well and used it for both interior and exterior. I got a super good review on next door, so I was just wondering why use the squeegee method when foaming action spray is so much easier?
