when doing overlapping or masked designs, think of physical collages with cutouts from paper media as you plan and create. break rules, or bend them as much as you can.
The bleeding effect is great! Literally leading the eye from piece to piece. I’m thankful my architectural education had me obsessed with transparency modes early on 😅

I plan to major in graphic design for uni next year, and every uni website I look at has a degree that leads to graphic design under a different name- fine arts, studio arts, design, and so on- could you help and explain what I should be looking for when trying to find a degree that can put me on the graphic design career path?
Hi there. Fine arts isn't graphic design, that is more to do with creative art. You need to find a degree such as BA Graphic Design or something like that.
