Every TW product I've been recommended has been the absolute best in terms of quality and service. Thinking about doing a whole video featuring every product on my truck from small businesses.
Added additional weather stripping to the door to cut down on road noise. It made an insane difference. The guide the I found online said they measured a 15 decibel reduction.
Love the sequential mirror turn signals. It accentuates the front LED turn signals. Thanks for the modification tip. I'll order them for mine. Once again another great video, and thanks for the discount code!!
Replaced the stock turn signals with the blacked out sequential lights on my 2020 TRD Pro months after purchase. A great mod, along with replacing the mirrors with the corner blind spot mirrors. Just ordered the license plate mod. Tie down and seat lift mods are on my hit list. Great video!
Thanks for the order! I'm working on them now and will have them sent out soon! Check out my thread on Tacomaworld for any updates or if you have questions!
Spotter Mirror is where I originally bought them a few months after I bought the truck. They were out of stock for quite awhile. No problems and the defroster feature works.
Thank you so much for the alternative blinders for the Tacoma license plate light. I have been annoyed with the light bleed through ever since I purchased my Tacoma in 2020! You are amazing!
I was just watching a Taylor Ray video and got a ad for seat lifters and you were in it! Congrats on all your success. It looks like the hard work is starting to pay off!
Definitely getting those turn signals. Just got a 22 TRD Off-Road and have already started modding it, so those will go very nicely with what I have done and will be doing. Tonneau cover and put in led's in headlights and foglights were the first mods. I do want to change out my shift knob for something a little heavier. Looking at side steps as well. Keep up the good work on the videos!
Chloe your gnarly! Thanks for getting me started on the mods. Both my wife and I have Tacos and began the journey of mods. I’m digging the turn signals for sure. I’m pretty sure that will be one of many more light upgrades. Just got in the MESO taillight upgrades and the license place light eliminator too. Will tackle those this weekend. Again thanks for the ideas!
Fuel injection cleaner is a must. I had a Tahoe that kept stalling. I took it to the dealership, paid 700$ drove around the corner and the car stalled. I was right by a gas station and saw Techron FIC and poured it in. Two more stalls and then magic. Nothing for the next years. Use this once every 3 months and your car will thank you !!!
Dang every video I watch of chloe. I have to take the check book out to buy stuff for my tacoma. Great videos. 😅. I. Getting sequential lights and the light blocker thing. 🤑🤑🤑🤑
I think the turn signals are my favorite aesthetically but the license plate light may be something I do in the future. I now have an aftermarket rear bumper and the plate lights are almost angled more towards the camera now lol
Every time I see that tool box! 😍😍 Looking for another mod, check out Suma side mirrors. I got a set and LOVE them! Fixes the blind sport and option for anti glare. 👌🏻
Me. Chloe, I appreciate all your vids. You mentioned once briefly that you might make a video on how to use 4low. I think a lot of viewer's myself included would like to see how to engage 4 wheel drive properly and when you'd want to use it. Thanks again keep up the good work.
Thank you! I don't have a specific video on engaging 4Lo but I've sort of shown it in some of my off-road videos. A video like that is on my to-do list!
Another quick mod is the Sokietech Hood gas struts. Probably closer to a 5 minute install, but they go in quick and you no longer need the prop rod to hold the hood up. No drilling required.
Chloe, I have a 3rd Gen Taco. I have added several of your Mod suggestions. Lookin' Good. Today I had 2nd dealer scheduled maintenance done. 10 months 13K miles. The front disc were shot, less than 4M thick. I've been in the Alabama clay mud a little. Is this normal "crappy disc" on new vehicle? Is there a heavy duty disc brake you would recommend ? Thanks
That’s crazy wear! Maybe the mud trashed them? Do you drag the brake with your left foot by chance? I’ve had Toyota rotors last 100k miles on many vehicles I’ve owned.
Have you seen a cover for the Console rear USB plug. I keep a rear camera and charging cable plugged in and want to put some form of cover on to keep USB ends from getting broken off.
I hope this doesn't come across as a dumb question but, I recently became a Tacoma owner after driving a 2000 Toyota Tundra for the past 21 years. I was pretty much forced to trade it in on the Tacoma. Rust of the frame became an issue that I was unwilling to put any more money into the old girl. I have watched several of your recent videos and I am qurious as to what the meaning of "3rd Gen Tacoma" means. The Tacoma that I bought is a 2018 Tacoma SR5 Access Cab so is it "3rd Gen"? So far I am liking it a lot as it is about the same size as the old Tundra I had. My only complaint is all the new idiot lights that weren't on the Tundra. I am liking the improved gas milage though with the V-6 engine and 7 speed transmission. I may have to get some of the bed tie-downs you showed in this video I like them. Just wish I had seen this before I went to the Toyota dealer to get the OEM tie-downs.
Congrats on your new Tacoma! This is by no means a dumb question, especially if you're new to owning one... there are currently 3 generations of Tacoma: - Gen 1: 95-04 - Gen 2: 05-15 - Gen 3: 16+ So your 18 falls under gen 3, the latest generation. Each new generation was marked with "big" redesigns, including different engine options, body style, transmission options, etc. Most of the mods I show on my channel on my own 3rd gen will be compatible with other 3rd gens as well. Hope this helps!
I personally do not run an aftermarket tune on my Tacoma, I am happy with the way my automatic shifts and am fine with my gas mileage. Although people seem to like the OV tune a lot... I get quite a few comments about it on my channel.
When she said I did not have any major issues with my truck at 30k Miles. I was like what!! Any Toyota is capable of 200k miles without major issues just with timely oil and filter changes. You don't even need that fuel system cleaner
Hi Chloe, I’m looking for a mod or accessories that I can put on my Tacoma bed truck to carry gas cans etc that doesn’t run all over the bed went driving. I’m been using bungee cords to secure it but don’t help. Please help.
It sounds like molle panels may be a good option for you. They'll give you many options for mounting stuff in your bed. Cali Raised LED has ones that mount to the factory bed rails.
@@371kenny I think it’s easier to me. I’ve seen people mess up the black stickers with plastidip you can get even coverage. But I’m familiar with it. So to me it’s no biggie. If plastidiped wheels and it’s lasted for more the 5 years
The rotors were good enough we didn't turn them. Just new pads for now. I admit to being a lil' mudder to get where I'm going. Just didn't think this would happen to them. Are there heavy duty disc pads available? Or better to know your style and check your gear more frequently. I had to stop watching Chloe, she cost me about $2700.00 so far....
The number isn't a grade mark. Grade marks are slashes. How ever many slashes there are u add 2 to the count if its 3 slashes its a grade 5. Those numbers have nothing to do with grade strength
