The Bobcats avoided the trap game in San Luis Obispo California as they ran all over the Mustangs winning 72-28. Montana State rushed for a school record 554 yards, led by a breakout performance from sophomore wide receiver Marqui Johnson, who won Big Sky offensive player of the week for his 242 yards rushing and 4 TDs on 13 attempts. On defense, redshirt freshman defensive end Kenneth Eiden forced a fumble on the Mustangs QB, leading to a Ben Seymour scoop and score. Senior captain linebacker Callahan O’Reilly also got another interception, making his total 4 on the year. The Bobcats will return home to Bozeman next week to take on the Griz in the 121st Brawl of the Wild, and the cast from ESPN College Gameday has officially decided to join us 7am to 10am Mountain time. Make sure to show up early and be loud Bobcat Nation!
