Montana State’s defense showed up to play as the Bobcats won their homecoming game 37-6 against the winless Idaho State Bengals. This win ties the highest home winning streak in school history at 16, and is also currently the highest home win streak in the FCS. Chambers keeps scoring TDs, adding to his already impressive total of 15 rushing TDs through 6 games, which is also the leading total in the FCS. Sumner made a solid return to action, yet again eclipsing the 100 yard mark in limited action. O’Reilly, Manning, and Campbell got interceptions on the day, and the defense forced 6 turnovers. It was the second highest attended home game in school history, and the crowd enjoyed a pregame flyover/national anthem from a father-daughter duo. Next week, the Montana State Bobcats travel to Greeley Colorado to face the Northern Colorado Bears.
