This deck needs a better OG harpie lady that has a good effect, something like”when this card is normal summoned or special summoned, you can add 1 “harpie” card or 1 card that mentions “harpie lady” or “harpie lady sisters” from your deck to your hand. During your main phase, you can normal summon 1 “harpie” monster in addition to your normal summon/set.

Harpies might not have such a card, but Simorgh DOES -- their Field Spell, to be exact.

Also be very careful using feather rest if you pitched harpist for channelers effect and its one of the 3 harpies you have in grave if you summoned summoned Cyber Slash. If you shuffle harpist back to the deck with feather rest, you wont get the end phase search effect because it wasn't there at end phase.

Right?! It seems like red-eyes, blue-eyes and dark magician get all the love. Harpies get nothing. It'd be nice if they had some monsters come out similar to tellarknight support monsters. It'd also be cool if they made an alternate artwork effect monster version of harpie girl. Maybe even make a spell that can summon harpies pet dragon or harpies pet baby dragon from the deck. The deck needs a huge update. Probably gonna take more than seven cards. Harpies have amazing potential and I wish Konami would realize that with some legitimate support.

Same! I’d like to see maybe 2 more synchro cyber slash monsters but the other 2 have orange and blue hair to mimic harpie lady 2 and 3 that came out forever ago, but making it more modern effect wise. I’d like to see some more link cards too and an updated baby pet dragon. Maybe do something with the useless harpie girl card that’s out too.

Still kinda hoping Harpies get a little more support. It would be seriously cool if we were to get a Rank 7 Harpies Pet Dragon or some sort of extra deck monster that is treated as a Harpie Lady Sisters while on field or in grave. Just to make some of the other cards live. Maybe a contact fusion harpie that takes 3 a Harpies to make.

You can also run one harpie lady sisters. Summon channeler, play egotist and summon her. Then you activate channeler and summon perfumer. Perfumer gives you a two card search instead if one and you have a wind material. Then you summon conductor for protection. Usually good to have Featherstorm in hand for this strategy, or any other sufficient defense.

What i normally do is that I’ll place harpist, oracle, and/or hysteric sign (those cards that are end of turn activations) sideways in the graveyard so I can easily tell I have to remember to straighten them up and I’m like ? Why are they like this and then remember oh yeah! End of turn effect! Hahah it works for me

In the last combo I would choose feather storm, feather duster and perfumer. With storm and perfumer you can summon utopia double and clear any board and go 4 the otk

In one of those combos u summoned cyber slash and used harpies hunting ground to clear hysteric sign while it was set but u can actually activate hysteric sign and get your elegant egotist and then summon ur cyber slash and pop ur hysteric sign I’m pretty sure since it stays on the field

Too late but... Unexpected Dai exists, this allow you to bypass the normal summon for playing Elegant Egotist and not just to rely on an other effect monster Harpie that can lose the effects through some negations.

Activating Hysteric Sign means it can be negated and/or destroyed - disrupting your entire turn.

You can only activate one of the effects per turn, so if you activate it to search for egotist, you can't search for the 3 at end of turn.

Easily the most slept on deck in yugioh that can legit break boards and disrupt a lot of modern strategies. Topped two regionals this year running a better version if this deck imo

unfortunately that is hard cope. deck can't play through interruption going first, is hard reliant on feather storm to break boards. hard reliance on channel to do anything. 2.5 card combo to end on avramax+tokenless dracossack? when some cards have 1/1.5/2 to end on 3+ interruptions? It's a pet deck at best and I say that as someone who WISHES this deck was amazing. it's over-reliant on channeler which you might never see and feather storm

@@OWTLAWSTAR63I been playing harpies since I was 17 and I'm now 24. yugioh I've been playing since I was like 10 on the tag force psp games. I was playing harpies when our best play was summon channeler, pet dragon, dracossack, set 2 and pass. the deck isn't good. I love it but that doesn't change its not competitive.

I'm saying this not to be mean or negative. Tbh I was expecting more or something new. As a harpie player these combos are basic and common to the masses. Counting in the probabilities of cards you draw in your opening hand and, going 2nd on occasion (which is still a big factor even today). We (experience harpie players) already know and have seen /done these combos. So if your new to playing harpies then yes this video is for you. For the rest of us we see the issues at hand we have currently going on in the game. Which is something i have talked about with a lot of other Harpie players. We definitely need new support to fixs the cracks and smooth out the edges. Its crazy how konami handles Harpie after 25 years in the series. As we can tell if its not yugi, kaiba, joey and/or insert main protagonist/best friends/ villain. You waiting your turn even with small here and there support its still not enough.
