You see a glowing light in the middle of nowhere, is it a person, is it something from space? But what happens when you find out someone died there? It is probably a ghost light then. A spirit that follows you down a dark path but never gets close no matter how close it gets.

The first two sound more like glowing orb UFOs than ghost lights. Still very intriguing. I've seen the Marfa lights. Excellent episode. Thanks for all you do.😊

I've never heard of the first two, but always heard of Maco light. I live in North Carolina and the ole Joe Baldwin story was always told at Halloween. Plenty of people went down there just to see the light. Many did see it. I didn't know it had faded away. I heard it was still waving up and down the tracks. Thanks so much for the video. Great stories as always.

I've always guessed that there is something geological/atmospheric about such lights. However, I'm no scientist and just don't know.

I've read that, the piezoelectric elements in the Earth react with certain atmospheric conditions, and the result is the glowing light phenomenon. Basically, crystals can create energy/electricity when hit/rubbed together, lighting up the gases in the air.

I would have thought the Min Min lights in western Queensland Australia would have made the list. It'd be great to see a video on the unexplained Min Min lights

Saw a basketball sized orb that was the same color as a firefly, slowly cicling the upper trunk and braches of a large tall tree for a half hour. It was bright enough to illuminate the trunk and branches to where the bark patterns could be seen even across the river from where we were fishing.

There's a similar legend to the Joe Baldwin story in New Jersey. He's called the Hookerman and he walks along the railroad tracks at night with his lantern looking for his arm that was ripped off in a train accident.

Haven’t heard too much about spook lights lately. Brown Mountain lights, Gurden in Arkansas, Joplin Mo, Paulding MIchigan. Marfa lights in TX 🚂👻

Hessdalen lights are still very active, with multiple sightings each nights in periods. Scientist from all over the world have gear up there and are still researching it.

My graandfather was born in Beaver County Oklahoma in that time period. I can remember him telling about seeing that light. He described it in almost exactly the same way. There is a light like the one in the last story in Gurdon Arkansas. Same story of the headless conductor.

I've seen these in the national forest at night , if you try to approach them they move further into the forest. Not going to chase them down.

My wife saw ghost lights on train tracks in the 1980s in a rural area in New Madrid County, Mo. I wanted to find the area to see for myself but I learned that the property on which the abandoned train tracks / ghost lights was located was sold and was made inaccessible as private property by the new owners.
