Did Gibson actually believe Mustaine’s own hype?! If I had that ludicrous amount of money I’d actually prefer to place a bet that this will go down as one of the worst selling Gibson acoustic guitars of all time.
Nearly £1000 pound for a signed sticker!? Gibson certainly know how to charge. The Mustaine is a belting looking geetar and the querky 24 frets is nothing shy of awesome but the price... not one for me. As always with the Andertons vids great playing, wicked sound and entertaining. Keep up the top work folks.
I’m sure they are “authentic” and I do have a soft spot for an LG2 but I’d struggle to buy one of these over many other brands for similar money. Gibson acoustics do seem better made than their electric counterparts which are just a joke.

Wrong... NR Western Gibson... is not a sitka spruce top it is a red spruce top!... But the way you slay a guitar.. who cares!!!! You are one of my favorite acoustic guitar players!
Did you happen to measure the action heights on these? I own both the Rateliff and Cantrell ones. The Rateliff came with super low action (with no buzz), but the Cantrell is quite a bit higher. I believe it's 7/64 at the Low E string, whereas the Rateliff is around 4.5/64. I can't decide if i should try to lower the Cantrell action height. I love low action guitars.
I think artist series guitars electric and acoustics have become this thing, Where Companies put out cool guitars not necessarily guitars that the artist play. But just guitars that look cool and are way overpriced unless you just have that much to throw at one of these instruments .. and they are calling them artist series.. don’t get me wrong i think it’s cool .. I’m just saying that’s Where we are at today
Like most of the comments I agree I'm not a fan of these 3 Artists Signature Gibsons.. It's no secret that Gibson had a rough road for few years.. But the new Gibson Acoustics being made are really really good.. Hopefully people won't just judge Gibson over these 3 Artists guitars. My main weapon is a 2014 Gibson Advanced Jumbo and its seriously Unbelievable!!
Not the first brand I would go to for an acoustic. Not sure anything beats the value of the higher end Faith's for sound, build quality & ease of playing. Just show me the Les Paul's & 335s though......
Only £4500 for an acoustic guitar from that well known acoustic player Dave Mustaine?! At least it'll sound good when you're jamming "Set The World Afire" and "Wake Up Dead".
I see people complaining about a thousand dollar signature. Kinda crazy but those guitars will sell for double or more in twenty years. Guy is not going to live forever. It's pretty much for a collector and they will pay collector prices . Not me but they will definitely bring crazy money

To me.. the mustain acoustic is a joke... It might be a great guitar , and i know gibson has been giving love to lesser know artist recently.. but just don't do this kind of the cashgrab... #canadiandevil
I don't know if it's just this video but all 3 sound awful to me. Sounds like you are snapping the lower strings like a metal guitarist playing an acoustic instead of an your normal style.
The LG2 looks nice but aside from that they're 3 overpriced, average sounding guitars I don't want. Sorry, Gibson acoustic guitars always seem to sound so disappointing to my ears. But as always you pay your money, you make your choice.
mustaine literally said that acoustic guitar is like having sex with clothes on why would this guitar be made but it does look nice not at all 3500-4500$ nice though
