I love camping, swimming, and books. This would be the perfect spot for me too. Good tip if you see someone is near the end of the book, it means the story is at its climax and it is the most frustrating time to have someone start talking to you. I know Chris would love for his son to follow in his footsteps and carry on the legacy. Hes an awesome dad and husband from what I can tell. I will say that his son appears to be very intelligent and will succeed in whatever area he decides to go in.Right now when they are young they are only becoming more versatile in their skill.Thanks for letting us see you and your family vacation. I'm todays world its good to see a family spending real time together and not fighting and a bunch of drama! This is one of my favorite channels and puts me in a good mood because its always fun and peaceful. It has taught me more patience because of how he handles things that don't always turn out right. He simply tries again or moves on without anger or taking it out on other things. This is what modern technology was meant for. For us to see things like this that keep us outdoors and doing family things and sharing it. All families should watch this as its a good example of family interaction and how to be patient and teach your kids!
Full stop. Great trip. Whenever I go camping with the family, we have stuff strapped to the outside of the car. Lol. Just went last month. I recorded some but a surprise camping guest drained all my backup batteries for all her electronics...
I think this is one of my favorite videos that you have done. The glue that makes your relationship stick with your family is strong! I love the family dynamic and what a great way to build memories. I have never fished outside New Zealand for trout but in a deep lake we use streamer flies with a 2 or3 oz sinker or even a jig as a weight at the bottom usually 2 flies on droppers and fish them much the same way.

The Wooded Beardsman you are welcome to do it on my property in Washington state, South Florida or even here in California. I’d take you and whoever else out on my boat to San Miguel or another channel island. I could drop you off and pick you up in a few days or just stay on the boat while you film for however many days you’d want to do it. I have access to my uncles property on Vancouver island that would be pretty cool as well. If you want to stay in Canada. Let me know if any other those spots sound cool.

In my water Engineering tech college program we did a lab comparing most of the hiking water filtration systems available. platypus gravity fed system that wooded beardsman is using was at the top. it uses similar membrane technology as full size treatment plants and can even be back flushed to extend the life of the filter. we tested coliforms, e-coli, turbidity, organics and particle counts.
