I've said this to all of the people i talk basketball with. The notion that a team can just 3peat is based on 1 or 2 player's talent is crazy. As mileage and fatigue is real in sports and life if u overwork yourself to complete a task its gonna feel more difficult ever time. When they won 2 in a row they followed that with a 10-win season after back to back 14-win seasons, didn't get a bye and were ultimately eliminated in the divisional round. In soccer Real Madrid managed to do that in the Champions League from 2016-18, which was the first three-peat since the 70s, back when the competition had way fewer teams than the current 32, and their 3-peat kinda resembled the Bulls 2nd 3-peat replacing Michael Jordan with Cristiano Ronaldo. Sometimes it looked like they were running on fumes, bound to lose, then Ronaldo went out and found some clutch goal that led to them advancing. Their finals were quite tense too, they only dominated the 2017 one. Then Cristiano left for Juventus and their dynasty was over.
