This is so true! Some possible interesting training implications in a strength training setting as well, especially in terms of structural balance perhaps. Would you prescribe typical depth jump volumes, intensities (drop height) and frequencies for these or do you have your own approach?

Slow SSC. You can try it in your own jump. I'm right foot dominant and I jump higher when I plant my right foot first and have my leg as my block.

I know this is late, BUT i just realized that its actually 3 that are shown. Depth jump is when you jump off a box with some height and go more knee flexion and then jump, drop jump is quick and slight flexion

Go until you max out and your jump height starts decreasing or stop when you do better than you ever have.

I'm right dominant when i try 2 foot jump should i go left-right or right-left because in this vdo this guy go right-left which is uncomfortable for me.

@@kvanlalruata6189 FUCK NO bad advice. Dont listen to the guy above me. What you should do is work on both left-right and right-left. If you have the vert code elite program, you do both ways in there. Reason for this is so that the legs get equally trained and we dont have a weird imbalance that can lead to injuries or mechanical issues later. Also Paul mentions in the video later that what you do to one side, you do for the other aswell. Were you paying attention? As you keep doing it you will get used to it. Just keep practicing both ways.

@@iy5531 thanks for explaining mate. Practicing both way will definitely help us of course but what i wonder is i normally do lay-up with right hand and jump with left foot but when i jump with 1-2 step i normally plant left foot first then right before take off.
