Given that it already has to go in for warranty they’re going to add the trigger to it while it’s there and when I get it back I’ll send the second one in 🙄
The purpose of the slow speed trigger on the PXE80 is to spread your compound or polish. Then you push the trigger all the way forward when you’re going to do actual work.
@theunkownmr.562 for sure. Each their own and preference. There’s a lot of reasons to use either imo. It’s not a clear distinct winner but I only use one brand and I’ll say I don’t like the flex 5-6” power. The new Rupes 5-6 cordless are stronger than their corded, according to Rupes
I am a huge fan of both Rupes and Flex. I don’t think you can go wrong with either, but the Flex definitely offers a lot more functionality. I am like you and awaiting the cordless Rupes HLR15. I cannot wait to get it! I think I may go with the Flex PXE 80 as a compliment to it from a cordless standpoint. Thanks for sharing the review! Liked and Subd
