He was meant to use his voice! His pauses and timing are amazing!! I'm glad to hear hes seeking help. I have a lot of mental issues too and admitting it and asking for help is the 1st step. I could see him doing movies someday. I'll be waiting to see his name in lights (:
RU-vid subtitles suck. But Rob speaks so clearly that they actually work, making it possible for me to watch this (and other) video on mute during my down time at work. Thanks, Rob!!!
Gangsta Nerd Yeah. I can. We have permission to use the work computers in downtime as long as everything is done and done properly and we’re not ignoring guests. Why are you so obsessed with this??
@@ashleybrown6880 they don't have to watch their every word unless they are constantly around someone they have problems not offending for some reason. I agree it's getting a little ridiculous, but I've really never had to watch my tongue as I don't speak offensive/racial terms in any area of my life. I also treat others the same way as any another person. It's hard to ignore all sterotypes that may come to mind as we've all been told by certain individuals in our life to assume such.. I have complained to managers on people of varying races, for their job performance alone; They may ask their race as an identifier if I don't know the person's name, and there is never a problem with me speaking candidly about their race. I think some certain people think about it too much.. and probably for a reason they don't want to admit. You never really worry about offending someone when you have the confidence there is nothing you are doing or saying that is really offensive.
@@DaniOnDemand mmm Kay.... I don't speak offensive or racial terms either... I'm talking about how ppl in general have to watch what they say bc some ppl take the smallest thing & interpret it into something that it's not or twist it into something else. That's all I'm sayin'.
In my dorm, a girl burned to death on the 4th floor in 1908. That floor has an eerie as fuck feeling. Not to mention the elevator also likes to open and close on its own on the same floor and when we use it, it sounds like the cables will break any minute and on Halloween, they will turn off the elevator light so it makes for a pretty interesting experience .Scary as hell but I love it.
Story #2. This says alot about our time. That girl didn't want to call cops because she might seem racist to a black guy, even as things got worst. I guess she didn't wanna cause thing like the Starbucks "racial controversy." But here is the reality; if ANYONE of any racist, religion, sexual orientation, ect seems like a THREAT TO YOU THAN THREAT THAT PERSON AS A THREAT! And this is coming from a Mexican girl from Mexican immigrant parents. I've had creeps of my own race and what did I do?!? I called the cops! Because a CREEP IS A CREEP NO MATTER THE RACE!
@@Politickticktickin no, he did exactly what he told her he was going to do. He kept the crackhead there until police arrived. It's the same tactic I would use because appearing "innocent" or "naive" to someone who is on drugs tends to keep them calmer and make you less likely to be assulted. Besides, if he had just walked up to the guy and decked him, then the truck driver would also be arrested for assult. It won't hold up in court as a defense plea because he didn't watch the guy pull his junk out. And even if he had, it still wouldn't hold up in court because the crackhead wasn't in a position that would have caused her physical harm. Not everything needs to be solved with aggression.
Here's a story for you. When I was a child, I used to see a civil war soldier stand at the end of my bed. I can still remember his face, even though I never saw his eyes. I told my mom one day that I kept seeing him and after I described this bearded, older man in a grey uniform to my mom, my mom had a cold sweat. Apparently when she was pregnant with me, she saw the same soldier at the corner of her bed. She used to wake up screaming that there was a man there that my dad could never see. After I was born, my mom didn't see him anymore. He never felt malicious. But it was definitely disturbing to my mom to know I saw him when everyone thought she was crazy.
Ademo because it was exposed as a scam and became the ultimate RU-vid controversy for a while. There's a reason major RU-vidrs apologized to people for promoting better help.
Kudos to you Rob. It takes courage to admit to mental health issues. If more well liked and respected people like yourself would speak out, it would go quite a way to dispelling the stigma/myths. I love your stuff anyway but my respect for you has just risen lots. Take care and be well. Thank-you.
Sorry nothing on Rob but don't use better help its not 100% you'll get a professional even better helps says that you shouldn't replace a face to face professional therapist with better help.
I wish I knew you in real life, Rob. I've had some seriously strange experiences myself. I've had a lot of encounters with spirits, it use to scare me.
@@RobGavagan shit man when, when I'm not lazy enough, you're gonna get spammed with my experiences hahaha. But at that, I just look at ghosts as pranksters. Imagine for a second if you were invisible and could walk thru walls, you would mess with people too just for the laugh haha, leaving doors open and moving things around.
Jesus Christ Rob. What you were saying about better help finally made me pull the trigger on visiting the website! Probably the most genuine sponsor advertisement I’ve ever seen! Good job! Thank you!
Never be scared to express how you feel, nor who you are. That will only make you feel more alive and if you are going through dark times, it will surely help you get that "chip" off your shoulder. Good luck and keep your head up.
Things happen when they should don’t they? Paid or not advertisements for something like that is what people really need to see. Consoling helped me but with how much I work I didn’t make it as long as I wanted. This is something I’ll for sure try! Hope it helps ya!
It's funny, I was just thinking today how much I missed watching your videos. I had a very serious illness when I first subscribed, and spent many nights awake in pain. Your voice kept me company while I waited for the morphine to take effect, and your videos combined with great drugs are something I really miss! Glad to still be here and glad you're back! Thanks for getting me through.
Thank you all for your supportive words!! It means a lot!!! I'm happy to say I found Kratom, which has legal market and helps tremendously with chronic pain and even has anti leukemic alkaloids. Since I had cancer, and it destroyed a lot of my immune system, I couldn't stay on morphine forever (like I wanted😀). If anyone has long term issues, please check it out. I had never heard of it before! Again, y'all are the best!
Tow truck guy in the second story is smart asking the creep for directions to stall for time. Also, I wonder, wasn’t there anyone working in the gas station store that she could hang around for protection? Maybe they seemed creepy too.
The worker on the phone told the lady it was a really dangerous area so maybe staying in her car was a better idea, especially when she was already talking with the worker and contacting the police. I think the simplest way to explain this is car is safe while gas station worker is possible threat.
Protip: if faced with the tow truck driver's situation, try picking a town near by and horribly mispronounce it to stall for time. My best friend's dad once had a 30 minute conversation with a tourist looking for a town that the person pronounced "yo-ce-might" until he realized the guy was talking about "Yosemite" pronounced "yo-cem-i-ty"
I got a flat tire once driving down a mountain alone late at night, I pulled onto the side of the dirt road and called 911 since I didn’t have cell service to call AAA, and when I was on the phone with them a car past me driving down the hill, then turned around and came back up looking at me then pulling into the same turn out and pulling behind me, I didn’t take any chances when they started walking towards me (2 men) and drove down the hill on my rim with sparks flying everywhere 😆 They were probably just trying to help & be nice, but as a girl on the side of a road on the mountain at 2 am I couldn’t take my chances lol
Reminds me of that couple that went to hostile territory thinking evil didn't exist. ISIS then executed them both. And being how extremists are, you know damn well they probably did "things" to the woman before and probably after she died as well. Actually found it, this article sums it up www.dailywire.com/news/34581/american-couple-believing-evil-make-believe-hank-berrien Don't be an asshole now. However, don't be naive either. Being naive is damn near, and in some cases, more dangerous than being a ruthless tumor to humanity, as both feed off the other. Except, only one of those two sides actually gets consumed.
Better help DOES NOT CHECK THE THERAPIST FOR AUTHENTICITY. They do not check to see if they are licensed, they DONT match based off the survey. I'm not against getting help but y'all need to understand just because RU-vidrs advertise it doesn't mean it's worth a damn.
ah this is a shame...i was really exited for a cheap therapy option :( i havnt been in therepy in a few years bcs of money issues and i really want to get back in
One of the creepiest things I've personally experienced was at a small forest next to a lake in Austria. It's a fancy tourist location and really nice for recreation. After dinner, as it was still bright, we walked into said forest and there I saw an old plane in the sky. I haven't seen many planes that old so I watched it. There was one thing that was unsettling about it: it drew a big trail of smoke behind it. First, I thought that it was something done deliberately, but it wasn't coloured, but light grey. As soon as I thought it and noticed that it came from only one wing, it erupted into thick black smoke and the plane made a jolt as if the wing had hit something. From that point on, I knew that one of the twin engines had failed and in the meantime the plane took a dive tumbling down uncontrollably... For a moment I hoped it wouldn't crash at my location and was relieved when it disappeared behind the treelines. I was waiting for the bang, but nothing came and then someone asked me what I was staring at and I asked them, if they had seen the old plane and they said that they didn't hear or see anything. That statement hit me: I didn't hear the engines either. Even if the plane was far enough away to not be heard the crash would certainly be heard. It was as if I watched something and still came 70 years too late to witness it.
I live primarily in Europe and I absolutely love Austria and spend/spent ALOT of time there. I'd love to know EXACTLY where and WHEN this happened. I've never, ever heard of any such "strange, old plane, plane crash." I'm sure no one has either... 🤔💯 🐃💩
@@genesofgod It was Wörthersee, Carinthia (Kärnten) and about 15 years ago. I can't remember the exact place, but I remember that near the Hotel, was a Restaurant with many tables outside, right next to the lake, and then you had a little wood a bit away from the lake. It's a quite nice place, unless you don't like heat, as Kärnten can get really hot for Austria. I was there once and it had 40°C! I doubt that you'll find anything about a crash at that time. The idea that maybe, I was the only one ever seeing it creeps me out, but fortunately this is the one and only time I've seen something as weird like that. PS: I cannot decode your string of emojis.
BetterHelp is a sketchy service. The "therapists" do not even have to provide proof of their education, diplomas or any other qualifiers for being a therapist. Meaning there's a chance the person you speak with isn't even a therapist. Use it if you want, but be cautious. Also this service should not be used to replace traditional, in-person psychotherapy.
You and Matt Santoro are the only two that talk about the serious nature of mental health. I suffer from deep depression that has caused me to be suicidal most days. Since my therapist treats me like a child looking for attention, I plan on looking in on this help and hopefully they can help me. Thanks again.
Talk about a gas station incident. About 3 yrs ago, I was heading home from a Raver club at about 3 AM in my city. I pulled into a well-lit convenience store with many gas pumps so I could get a donut and milk. This huge black pickup truck pulled right next to my car, and 2 young women got out and went into the store. Then a large man stumbled out of its back seating and spilled many tools to the pavement. "Are you okay?" I asked the guy. "Hey! Whadda you care? Ya dunno me! Ain't your business!" The man was seriously drunk, then started to walk toward me to attack me. Fortunately I moved fast, and the store's security guard intervened. The 3 were from out of state, leaving a concert that was in my city earlier that night. The 2 women came out of the store and tried to persuade their drunk friend to get back into the truck, but he refused them, still wanting a fight. Security brought police to the store, and detained all 3 of them. The man was taken to our city jail, and his 2 friends were forced to stay in the city until Monday for his civil court hearing. Their short concert road trip cost them an extra $6000 because the man had way too many! I was neither scared nor injured, just amused at how stupid the man was and the trouble it cost them all!
We’re so deep into social justice that people are refusing to report a black person with malicious intent because they might be labeled as racist. I need a break.
fluffyduckbutter's sister In Sweden, where I live, you’re most likely to be robbed by an immigrant, but I see your point. (Waiting for all the triggered people to roast me lmao)
Yeah ok that’s the REAL issue isn’t it? Since that shit happens sooo much 🙄 You hear of one person doing this and all of a sudden THATS the case instead of the dozens of incidents of black people being arrested or harassed or even murdered by cops on charges of “existing while black” Do you even read what you write or listen to what you say you fuckin weeb?
Mande Peer I was waiting for the triggered leftist comments and congratulations, you’re officially number one. When did I say it was the ‘REAL’ issue? What about my comment made you believe that I, in any way, actively disregard the (unjustifiable) shootings of black people done by cops? What on Earth does that have to do with my comment, or the woman in question? I do not condone unjustified shootings of black people. I can condemn one side whilst actively condemning the other. HOWEVER, I ALSO think it’s absolute lunacy that people aren’t willing to address black people by their skin color nowadays, ESPECIALLY IN DANGEROUS SITUATIONS WHERE THE BLACK PERSON IS THE PERPETRATOR; in fear of being labeled racist. Do you see nothing wrong with that, or are you too far up your own ass to do so? "Since that shit happens sooo much 🙄" Using your logic, you hear of one person (admitting to) avoiding to address a black person by their skin color in fear of being labelled racist and all of a sudden it rarely happens? It's like people who avoid saying that a terrorist was muslim and a follower of Islam in fear of being called an islamophobe, which is absolute fucking idiocy. I even had one friend back in high school who was reluctant to describe her friend as black (even though she was complimenting his skin color) because she worried she might offend her (SJW) friends. But hey, it never happens. Gotcha. "You hear of one person doing this and all of a sudden THATS the case instead of the dozens of incidents of black people being arrested or harassed or even murdered by cops on charges of “existing while black”" Sigh. If you sincerely believe that the woman in question is the only person to deliberately avoid describing a black person by their skin color in order to avoid appearing racist, you're a goddamn moron. And since we're jumping on that bandwagon, why are YOU refusing to acknowledge the dozens of incidents of white people being harassed, physically and verbally assaulted and degraded, mostly by black/non-white people, simply for "existing while white"? Happens WAY more often than black people getting shot by cops, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume that you don't give a flying fuck about that. So what I’m getting at from your argument is that I can't feel sympathy towards a woman practically getting sexually harassed by some freak solely because he happened to be black, and that it’s okay to unrightfully be labeled racist, since black people are unrightfully shot sometimes. Do YOU even read what the fuck YOU write? Also, may I know why your first instinct whenever you hear about black people committing crimes is to bury your heads in the sand and recite all the awful things black people face? Why is it that you hear this story about a woman nearly getting sexually harassed by a black person and automatically go "buT blACk peOPLe haVE iT bAD tOO!!!"? You SJW morons never cease to amaze me. And LMFAO alrighty, I’ve only watched Haikyuu but if that makes me a "fuckin weeb", then so be it. ╰(*´︶`*)╯
Not finished watching the vid yet, but I must say, I've never felt so relieved to hear that the woman was okay after the gas station incident... Just think if anyone arrived even a minute later... That dude in the elevator got lucky, man!
I was thinking about ambushing them with like a laser or a military grade flashlight or a construction lamp, like anything that blinds you for a good ten minutes
I personally really appreciate how much work you and your team put into your videos, you’re super funny and a really good, hard working content creator. So under appreciated, keep doing what you’re doing man.
I'm glad you found someone to help you out. It's hard talking to loved ones about what's going on inside ones head. I had therapy as a child. It helped a lot after I lost my godfather and baby cousin in a car wreck when I was 8. As an adult I did go back due depression and anxiety that I usually did yoga to help. I was with an abusive person that tried to kill me and caused me to have PTSD. I am so thankful for both therapists.
@Teodor Gumovsky are you kidding me?! The California police caught a serial murderer they'd been hunting for decades just a few months ago! Drinking in public is against the law too and people get arrested for DUI all the time. Laws against social behavior don't deter the behavior, it just allows our courts to prosecute offenders to the fullest extent of the law....
Todd Christopher Kohlhepp is another recent serial killer they arrested not that long ago, there's a video of one his victims that survived, showing her getting saved by the police. The dude had her locked inside a truck container.
Oh look another reason to never go on an elevator ever again. To be honest though that one reminded me of my freshmen dorm back in college. The laundry room was on the basement level, you had to walk down really shady steps and there were never any lights on down there unless in the laundry room itself. The hallways were also lined with these little doors around head level...I only did laundry when it was absolutely necessary, ran like fuck when I had to be down there and made friends with someone off campus with a washing machine as soon as I could :"D
Man, i didnt even realize you had any issues. Every time you cracked a joke at your own expense i thought it was just that, a joke. Prayers out for you buddy
I can tell. Honestly anyone who has a strong fascination with death, murder, and crime has some kind of mental issue. Lol this isn't a healthy normal obsession
I am sorry to hear that u r struggling with ur mental health, but just know that u r an awesome person and u make me laugh everytime u put videos up and that makes my day so much better. I also know that a lot of people would say the same thing cause u have the sarcastic dark humor that I love and have myself lol. Thank u so much for taking time out of ur day to make other people and subscribers happy, like myself. And a very special thank u for offering a website like BetterHelp to people cause as a person with a science degree, whom is majoring in psychology, I know how hard it can be to talk to people about certain issues and daily struggles, face to face with someone u barely know. I have always said that EVERYONE needs a therapist or someone outside their circle to talk to cause we r all human and we have obstacles that we must overcome, psychologically, mentally, and emotionally. Sorry for the novel but just wanted to let u know that u r amazing and I absolutely love ur videos. Don't every change!!!!!

As someone who struggles with mental health issues myself I feel I've got a bit of a knack for picking up when someone else is dealing with the same. Especially when someone is seemingly outgoing or funny. I had a feeling you may have been one of those people Rob and I hope the help you said you're receiving with this website is really benefiting you.
And thank you too for promoting Better Help. I keep hearing more and more about it from people I watch online and even from friends who use the program. I'm considering it more each day. Thanks for all your care... and your grueling ability to read stories!
I'm black and from a mostly white suburb in Texas and was sexually harassed by my principal's son (who was 19 and I was only 15) for about 2 years and had all the proof of it bc most of it was via text or Myspace. I finally had my friend call him bc I was too afraid and when she told him to leave me alone before I reported him his response was "You'd probably get suspended" and "No one would believe I'm into a black chick anyway". I never bothered to do anything about it bc honestly he was probably right. I've lived in this town long enough to see how things went. As a student, if you reported a white person using a slur towards you or other minorities the school did nothing about it despite claiming they would. I witnessed a white kid call a mexican kid "little fence hopper" in the cafeteria right in front of my principal and he literally smirked and said "settle down". The son who was harassing me was a loser but his family as a whole were accomplished and highly respected. His dad was the prinicipal, his mom was in politics, and his grandfather was a preacher. I didn't stand a chance so I just left it alone. My point is everyone is like "oh it's so sad people are afraid to call the cops blah blah blah" and it's like... this isn't new and it's not just white people. Never has been. Societal norms, racism, social justice, etc have made it so that yes people are afraid to call the cops for many many reasons. Anyways I still live here but luckily the guy doesn't. I just turned 30 and haven't seen or heard from him since I graduated. Maybe I got too old for the pervert when I graduated.
I suffer from chronic migraines that are triggered by excessive stress and anxiety. They can be mild (going away in a few hours) or bad, (lasting days and with horrible headaches that result into vomiting) and accompanied with panic attacks. Your videos help with my episodes because your narration is relaxing and the topics are interesting. My migraines distort my vision, so I can't see properly, but I can listen, and your videos have been so helpful for me. Thank you for creating this amazing content and thank you for being open about your mental health issues. It's very important to tell people that mental disorders and anxiety related problems are okay to have and treatable. As a person who suffers with chronic migraines related to stress, anxiety and panic attacks, I strongly advise to everyone who suffer by similar issues to talk to a professional. It helps a lot.
Yes the notification worked! Another great video Rob. I'm bipolar and I really admire the way you talk openly about your own mental health issues. It means a lot to me. Take care of yourself and keep up the great work. Lots of love from Ireland.
As someone who works in hotels and knows how weird elevators and automatic doors can act at times' #3 really got me. It doesn't help that I'm watching this in pitch dark 😭
First off, I want to sincerely thank you for your sponsorship message (which I honestly see more like a PSA than anything that was, as some have so crudely phrased it, 'paid for'). Ones mental health is something that no one should poke fun of or take lightly. I deal with depression and other similar issues more often than I would like to admit, and I think I will be taking a very serious look into Better Help. Any help is better than none. So, just from me, personally, thank you, Rob. And I am glad they are helping you. Secondly - brilliantly chilling stories there. That second one really spoke to me on a personal level too. Thankfully, I wasn't truly 'alone' at the time, I had two really big dogs in the car with me - some of the best 'creeper deterant' out there. So very glad to see you uploading creepy content again. Now back to binge watching!
