Awe don’t be scared! If you really want it, just apply yourself and you can do it 🤎 have faith that what is meant for you, will be for you regardless of the circumstances 🙏🏽 praying for you sister!
Currently a Junior in a 2 year Pre-Dental program, I plan on going to college for Dental Hygiene & I loved how real you are! Definitely gave me some things to think ab 💞
I was originally in hygiene school, I left after second semester. I went to school for dental assisting instead worked for almost 2 years then decided it wasn't for me. Now I am pursuing Law! Best decision ever!
I am a dental assistant too, and I’m currently doing my prerequisites to get into the hygiene program. Like you I have a lot of other things I want to pursue, but hygienist make such a good pay and don’t work a lot so that’s my main reason for continuing. But the thought of taking the one big test to get approved into the program and the program itself and I’ve heard how grueling the schedule is really turns me off. I’ve been also thinking of doing coding and billing just to get me through but we’ll see lol
Yeah that’s definitely why hygiene is such an attractive career! XD and yeah, honestly, if you have time to study and really apply yourself and are good at chem an all that sciency stuff, I heard it’s a breeze 😅 but yeah it’s all about what you want to invest your time in 🤎
i’ve been assisting for almost two years now and i was debating going back bc of the schedule and higher pay, but i hated college so much i don’t know if i can mentally handle it. it’s also super expensive 😭
Definitely pros and cons of hygiene. 😮💨I will say the college experience is much different once you’ve taken a step back from it. My husband went from failing and getting dropped from his classes to now being a star student excelling in all his classes since he started up again ⭐️ I say, if higher pay is important to you, plan and go for it (if you don’t have other plans). 😊 praying God will guide you and put things in place for you to pursue what you are meant to pursue 🤎
Im literally same girl. Have everyone telling me to be a hygienist cuz I’m still young and it’s like BABY, I’m gonna be a stay at home mom. Then they try to school you about how if your husband cheats or dies, you need to be able to support yourself 😒
Yesss someone who understands! 😁Hey well if worse comes to worse, you still have your RDA lisense to get you by! But yeah forsure do what’s right for you! 🤎 Honestly everything will go according to God’s plan in the end 🙌🏽
Don't listen people, they forget that life goes on, even as a mom! You can always go back to school or work when the kids are older. Nothing beats raising your children and having a husband who supports you and appreciates your work as a SAHM.
Me rn in college debating wether I should continue my pre reqs for hygiene or change my major to Spanish because I would love to be a college professor too ! But everything in gods hands 🙏🏾
We are kinda in the same boat, parents are big landlords in the area. But my husband hates to deal with the properties and he just wants to work in tech field. I’m a stay home mom for the past 5 years. I hate it so much, but I have a huge gap that I can’t go back to my older career. As my kid goes to school, I’m looking for a career change, I don’t want to do the rental business either, I just want something straightforward like dental hygienist. That means I ll have to spend another 2 years in school. I’m so lost. 😞
It’s based on production and number of hours worked. Basically we have a set amount “goal” if we reach over goal, whatever is left over gets divided amongst all of us :) depends on how many days you work though.
