I have a white car, and it is easy to keep clean. Dark cars are by far the hardest to keep clean. It is like a law of nature. Also, white looks best at night. People seem to forget about looking good at night.
Looking good at night is the least of my worries, black is the best for night especially if you drive your car in a spirited manner and the Sheriff is behind you. Love speeding, hate speeding citations.

Living in Los Angeles , having a white car is no problem. Instead it looks more beautiful. I’d say a black car looks better in a city such as New York but in a open sunny desert full of palm trees ? I’m buying a white car. It puts me in a good mood
I live in Phoenix, AZ. and my #1 reason not to buy a white vehicle is because it attracts bugs like crazy. Constantly had to scrape bug poop off my white Tacoma. Now on the other hand having a white vehicle here in the desert is almost a must because it doesn't heat up nearly as bad as darker colors. A black vehicle left in the sun here would probably burn you as you try to get inside.
I own a gloss white car and my partner has a pearl white car. The pearl white always looks clean and the gloss white is NEVER clean. I could give it a full wash, then 30 minutes later, it's dirty again meanwhile the pearl white can go weeks without a wash and still look fresh
I love my white car! I have a 2018 rav4 which I have blacked out entirely, basically. Black wheels, 15% tinting, blacked out tail lights, plastidipped emblems & badges, plastidipped side mirrors, chrome delete and vinyl wrapped the roof rack. I also upgraded every single light to LEDs. I absolutely love it and wouldn’t get it in any other color if I had the chance.👍🏻
I detail cars at a dealership and let me tell you it's is extremely infuriating when a salesman sells a white car with dirt lines around the entire car and/or the sell a car that hasn't been detailed before the sale is made
I dont agree with it being harder to keep white cars clean, unless youre offroading all the time i could see that i guess but thats with any color. White hides dust,brake dust and pollen a whole lot better than darker colors. And thats the kind of dirt thats most common to be on a car to show its dirty.ive never lived in a place that snows though so maybe thats where it would show alot? I dont know

Nonsense. If it‘s summer und hot outside und sunny then the white car will stay just a few degrees under the black car. It will still be hot, no much difference. u could also say that black cars will be better for a sunny winter day.
My family is weird, they all only like white cars especially since they “don’t get dirty as easily” I have a bright red ranger and it looks clean 24/7, my moms white Explorer always looked dirty
My mom bought a white Escape in 2018. She opted for the metallic white, because the base gloss white looked too boring. I even called it "work truck white."
My current car is white, my last car was black, and I also drove a genesis coupe that was pearl white (I miss that car and I loved the pearl). I just love how sleek black and white cars look. White is my favorite though. I might one day get a gray car because I like the way those look. I just love neutrals.
I have a black car now. Full time job. I’m thinking of switching to white next. Can’t stand the hot sunlight. Micro scratches and swirls won’t show up as much as my black car
1 they look better in literally every other color, 2 the smallest speck of dust shows up and they look better in literally ANY OTHER COLOR, 3 Boring, tasteless, and did I mention they look better in literally any other color?
As a white car owner. This video is BS when it comes to most of the "issues" rock chips show up. Even when you haven't washed it for a while it still looks cleaner than any other color. Everthing else that was said is poppycock.
@Alim B. that is true. However if you detail your car and wax it atleast twice a year. The paint will remain white. My car isnt garage kept but the paint is very white. Claybar and wax twice a year atleast. Ceramic coating is also a good thing. Still might have to claybar that once a year to keep the paint clean and get out hard to remove road grime.
@Alim B. hand wash with any car wash specific soap is good. Whenever you are going to clay bar i'd use dish washing soap. Dish washing soap helps to remove old wax.
My mother (later my father) and grandfather each had a white car, both of which were bought before I was born. We don't have them anymore; My grandfather's car was sold for scrap due to the interior's condition and the other sold as used. The only known damage (again before I was born) was on my parents' car, a tiny crack on the tail light.
I love my white Hellcat just for the fact that the Hellcat badging on the fenders and trunk are very noticeable 😂 you can see the Hellcat badge on my fenders from across the intersection, might be a little more difficult to see on a black/darker colored Charger. But I do agree that white is boring as well lol might wrap it in the future, depends 🤙
I like your list. On the other hand I just bought a white car. My theory is that it looks subtle and classy, and shows the lines of the car well. I bought a good looking that sells about 1 for every 100,000 crossovers, so I don't need it to be bright orange to tell people that I care about cars.
So in my country, almost every car is white. Like about 90+% are white. Idk if this is just specific to the climate in my country but white actually shows dust less than other colours.
White/Black are the best colors for luxury cars, I have an RDX A-spec in white pearl with black accents, looks amazing. Definitely is not a color for regular cars like corollas or civics.
White is my favorite color for cars. I have a white 1976 Corvette, a white 1966 Mustang convertible (top is also white) a white 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis, and a white 1979 Chevy truck. The problem with modern white cars is that white paint tends to peel off. And that includes every single car brand sold in the U.S. I have never found out why. My 2006 Mercury has peeling paint, none of my other white cars do. I believe it is just poor quality paint, a result of cost cutting by manufacturers. But that still doesn't explain what white paint is so much worse as far as peeling goes than any other color. As for being hard to keep clean, there is nothing harder to keep clean than black. It also shows every tiny little scratch. Black is also just plain UGLY. OTOH, nothing looks worse than a white car with black wheels. It looks like the car has no wheels. All my white cars have silver wheels.
Yeah my car is a metalic flake white and it looks awesome when clean, but its gets dirty so fast. I never wanted a white care but the color simply wasn a deal breaker since the deal was great
I love the colour white on cars, but wouldn’t really want my car to be white. Especially here in the countryside of the UK where the roads are always dirty and the hedges are cut a only a few times a year.
Why pick white as your brand new cars color ? Because White is the stock color that comes from the factory and doesn’t cost anything extra . Is a way people cheap out when ordering a brand new vehicle
I live in the Sonora desert and 90% of the people here buy white to reduce the effects of the hot temperatures. They get brand new cars costing tons of money and opt for white because, "Hey, it's the desert. You gotta get a white car". I thing this is a very poor reason to select a car color. I believe if you are investing gobs of money in a brand new car, get the color YOU want. Air conditioning technology in new cars has vastly improved. Get the color you truly desire, crank up the air and it'll all wind up the same anyway. A red Corvette or a yellow Vette looks so much more inviting than plain white. And besides, imagine buying a white Corvette knowing that 90% of all the other brand new Corvettes are the same color as yours. I showed up at a car show and saw 4 new C8 Corvettes showing off. Just about everyone oogled over the red one. The other 3 were ignored and you could see the despair in the owners' eyes. muahaha... MMUUUHAHAHA
The main reason I don't like white on small cars is because it looks like a taxi lol. And it's only that off-white colour that's commonly available on those cars, the "arctic white" or the proper white colour looks good imo. And on sports cars I think white looks really nice if it has black or carbon fiber panels on the bumpers, skirts, etc.
Honestly dust, scratches and dents are hidden on white cars. Plus when you wash your car you dont have to be so carefull about drying it because watermarks are not visiable and you wont be coo cking in summer
You pretty much got it. Of course i cant tell if my car is white or cream colored. Even after I just took it to the car wash it depends more on the light outside than it does the actual paint. The biggest pro is that cops dont pay attention as much. I own a 2008 Ford Fusion v6 and drive like a bat out of hell everywhere I go but any time I pass a cop its like they dont notice me. My car is generic looking that it doesnt stand out and it doesn’t catch their eyes.
I just bought a 2022 "knuckle white" Challenger and this thing attracts all types of bugs! I washed my car and came out to a bunch of mosquitoes just chillin on my car!
I think think all the reasons are working the opposite way in my country The easiest color to clean it or getting dirty is the white White color is best for summer. Also it's not affected much by sunlight unlike other colors ( the sunlight wipe of the color of the car bcz it's hot here every summer it reach over 50° c /122)
White reflects the most light lol. I want other cars to see me as it is a family car. It keeps cool in the summer (at least the exterior body panels). Also looks great. Would still like a black car tho …
