The Renault Triber is a great vehicle but here are three ways it could’ve been excellent.
First, the performance. The engine on the Triber is Renault’s 1l naturally aspirated unit. It feels calm, you can’t rush the engine, it has lag in the lower revs so you must work the gearbox and rev it out to get going, and that’s where the slow AMT gearbox leaves you wanting more.
Second, the cabin experience could’ve been more modern. The Triber’s cabin has the basics nailed. But Renault could’ve made it a more modern experience for 2023. The infotainment is usable but laggy, the instrument cluster looks dated and there is only one USB port in the entire cabin! It should get retractable three-point seatbelts for the third row too.
Third, it's good for occasional seven seat use - if you travel with six or seven on board for longer distances - you might prefer a bigger MPV - that has a bit more space, especially because with three rows up it has no boot space at all.

Pretty underrated car.

Triber is best the way it is. The price is perfectly justified. Remember there are some so called Micro SUVs robbing for the same prices with less features.

Triber is the best car in this price segment in fact more. Apart from immediate pickup lag, There is nothing wrong in this beauty. True value for money, Though it is a budget car, we do not feel cheap, Because Renault will throw all basic safety features free of cost especially better suspension and 4 airbags in RXZ, No compromise in safety 4* rating, If we go out we have to come safe, Go for it

All of these are cost oriented measures. A more powerful engine costs more, better features cost more & having more space pushes it to 4m+ territory. You do all that and ur possibly close to the French cousin in the C3 aircross 🤔

A turbo automatic variant is needed, but the company is not understanding they are killing their own market

I don't understand why everyone thinks the turbo petrol would make this better. I mean, anyone who buys the triber aims on using it purely as a utility vehicle. A 3 cylinder turbo petrol might suit smaller cars for swift acceleration and a zip-zap drive. But triber doesn't exactly beg for that turbo petrol engine cauz what it needs is a diesel-like engine to match its purpose and body type. The 3 cyl turbo petrol would make a good additional sport variant may be, but will not quench the thirst of what the triber is exactly missing.

This car has a lot of potential. I am planning to buy one slams some good alloys , paint it all black and put some air suspensions and drop it like it’s hot.

Requesting for a video series and review on the Bolero Neo. It would be great if you could touch upon the below points.

Some people are saying that it struggled in Ghat roads. But my friend drove that in the hills of Darjeeling which is steeper. To drive a 3cyl NA on difficult roads, you need to keep it in the perfect rpm band. You can't drive it like a bigger engine or 4 cyl engines. A turbo engine will kill the VFM aspect of the car. Although it's good to have an extra variant, as they already have one in Kiger.

As per the price.. it is a value buy.. just the top most model could have a turbocharger.. even if priced higher then existing top model..

I can't digest the idea of a car in this segment with an engine smaller than 1.2 liters and producing less than 110nm of torque

I like triber and bolero Neo, most practical vehicle 7 seat in 4 MTR. Triber should get disel engine from Mahindra so mileage and power both we can get here.
