Health anxiety is perpetuated by believing in what our unconscious minds tells us about our health. Often the sensations we feel get distorted by us and catastrophic future scenarios become the end result.
However, knowing that these ideas and feelings are brooded within protection and suppressed negative feelings of fear can have a transformative effect on us.
Yes, we can heal health anxiety for good and in todays video I’ll show you what unconscious habits are fueling future Hypochondria and health anxiety.

in july last year my health anxiety was so horrible I was having like 3 panic attacks a day and I genuinely thought I was going to die from the stress but watching your videos and doing a lot of exposure therapy really helped me and I stopped having panic attacks about 4 months into my healing journey. I hope if someones reading this going through what I went through I hope you find peace like I did

I've NEVER heard anyone read my thoughts like this: Fearing NOT fearing the symptoms because it's kept me from getting a bad diagnosis. Literally NAILED IT. It's almost like a compulsion, the fear of feeling positive. In my case there has been a strange issue of something bad happening the second I do start to heal and feel lighter and healthier, so my subconscious confirms it MUST fear instead to keep us safe.

When I began your health anxiety program it was immediate my anxiety began to lessen. I used to frequent the emergency room on a weekly basis it was really the point of no return. What is so important is if others I know are struggling I don’t have to tell them random words of encouragement but instead follow this like I did, it’s so empowering and I’m happy to spark that hope in others like you did for me 💛

"New" warrior here - been dealing with HA for about 2 years, and I must say - this video ticked a lot of boxes I didnt even knew I had, haha! On the healing journey, come a long way by myself (and some therapy ofc), but this gives me the boost i really needed right now - thank you! Ps. Took me about 45 minutes to watch the video, since I had to write all of the "nuggets" down, AND translating it to swedish. Worth it! Big love to all my fellow warriors out there !

So true. I've had health anxiety for a long time, triggered in the past year by my mum being very ill. The first one is so true, I've been having CBT and my therapist helped me figure out that I'm holding on to my anxiety because in a weird way I feel like it's protecting me from illness. I know it's just making things worse, but it's so hard to let go of it. It helps to see others feel the same.

A very good video, one of your best. Reason number 1 hits the mark for me too! Although, somehow you have to remember that everything has two sides. Also health anxiety. In my case, I cannot ignore the fact that this has extremely increased my “body awareness”. Always keeping an “eye” on your body can be or will be beneficial to your health at some point.

Got my last session of CBT NEXT WEEK and teamed with these videos I've definitely improved. It's hard, and I fully know I could relapse. I do fear not fearing it's a strange feeling of being so used to worrying, now if I don't worry what do I do? It's a strange feeling. I definitely feel lost like who is the new me cos the old me had lots of worries and now My mind feels better more free but lost with that freedom. I pray for anyone suffering you find peace. 🙏 I pray for myself I keep this new peace, oddly afraid to go back to how I was. Xx

I just came across this and I am so glad I did. I’ve been suffering with these symptoms for so long, and hearing that I feel comfortable with them makes me feel like I am excuse the phrase “crazy” I just recently had to get an important test and I freaked out and ran out and this is what’s making me finally research because my own anxiety is putting me at risk and yet I can’t seem to shake it so I have decided to take the bull by the horns. I hope I can do it as my anxiety right now is telling me I can’t do it. I truly thought I was alone going through this, I thought no adult could be like this. I am like a child and it’s so embarrassing that I get so fearful, and then I avoid the places that make me that way, but sadly are doctors and medical professionals.

Yes, many studies have shown a link between high stress and increased cholesterol levels. However as you approach the inner work do it for the sake of moving beyond beliefs from the past, suppressed feelings, and unconscious fear rather than for the sake of lessening cholesterol levels.

People who have suffered torn or detached retinas tend to suffer anxiety that it could happen again to the same or other eye. Very hard to ignore symptoms such as flashing lights and floaters which quite often do not go away even if the eye is healthy, particularly when they are told to seek emergency help if new symptoms occur. The Facebook support group is full of people seeking reassurance but the success stories avoid it because the people with poor outcomes are depressing.

But I don't have DPDR even though I have had anxiety symptoms but I didn't get into DPDR.. my question is will all the anxiety sufferes has to gone through DPDR ?? This is the question that's worrying me alot because whenever I got to see about the utube video of DPDR that scares me lot like what if I get into this in future.... Waiting for your reply

Consider the fact that it made the news because it is so rare. It is hardly ever newsworthy when an 80 year old has a heart attack, but when a 24 year old does its a huge deal because it hardly ever happens. You have a higher chance of winning the lottery than dying at your age so maybe spend the energy stressing over that instead! Lol
