Never would have been willing to take Chester out on such a weak lead with signs of breaking. It's heart breaking to be a dog sitter who lost someone's beloved pet, I don't think I'd ever get over the guilt. And being someone who loves their animals so much, I would be devastated to lose my fur baby. RIP to Chester and Hazel

I feel for the old woman in Story #3, it sounds like that dog was all she had and now she's gone, and she had some creep living in her house! The kid who dogsit for her had a terrible attitude as well!

I empathize with the older lady in the last story and can understand why she keeps to herself. She's lived awhile and has most likely been through a lot and probably doesn't trust people anymore. Also, maybe she doesn't leave the house because she has mobility issues or doesn't have a vehicle. Perhaps most or all of her friends and relatives have passed, so she has nowhere to go *to* besides grocery stores and dr appointments. Her dog meant the world to her and some evil SOB took that away from her.

bruh what makes me mad is that the owner knew chester was a rowdy dog and failed to get a proper leash. that entire situation could have been prevented with a good dog leash.

I feel bad for the older lady in the third story. She literally thought that there were demons down below. In a sense, she was right. If she was hearing things from the floor in her bedroom, why wouldn't she check the crawlspace? She had to have known about it's existence, she put the rug down on top of the opening to it. Unless someone else laid the rug there for her and didn't tell her that it was there. Unlikely though because she would've seen it when she looked at the house before buying it. Unless she had vision problems. There are many different factors to consider I guess. 💁

As a Full Time Pet Sitter, these stories definitely unerved me. 😬 Both stories about Chester and Hazel are every pet sitter’s or pet owner’s worst nightmare. 💔 Also, never use any seemily weak equipment. It’s not worth it. 😢

My friend and I were dog sitting one day at his cousins house, we were home alone all night because his dad worked all night. It was around 11pm when we had to take the dog out one last time. My friend told me to come outside with him because he was scared since we were in the middle of the woods. We were outside and I was messing with him by making noises and all that. He started getting mad so I stopped and just stood on the porch and waited. A few minutes later we heard a stick break in the woods and we could hear someone walking in there, we both ran inside and locked the doors. We closed all the blinds and made sure every door was locked. We sat in the living room for at least an hour trying to figure out what to do. We decided to not call his dad and just play video games to clear our minds. We played video games for an hour or so and then we decided to check the cameras once we weren’t so scared. We went through the footage and saw a tall black figure walk out of the woods and run through the front of the house, turning on the motion sensor lights. It was a tall bulky person in all black. Till this day we still believe the mans intention was to break in

I would've returned to the woods in the morning so it's bright and then look for the dog. If I never saw him then it's time to go John wick on anyone. Idc if it's mine or not

Ok, that first story something similar happened to me. We had a puppy (it was an Aussie… really miss her!) she started barking one night facing my closet. (We live in a small mobile home) I woke up looked at her, got up, picked her up, and placed her on the bed. She jumped off and scratched at the closet door. (It was closed when I walked out) I had walked out of my room to get something to drink. I came back the door was open. I screamed so dang loud I woke everyone up. I saw Emmy in the corner crouched and cowering. I got my dad in their and there was nothing. I didn’t sleep for the rest of the week.

That dog on the thumbnail of the video is a German Shepherd, black Labrador mix. I bought her when she was only two months young, in Saint Petersburg, Florida. I eventually met her nearly twenty years later, in Bryson City, North Carolina. She is so cute! And very well fed! I named her Sierra, after the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, in Reno, Nevada.

The owners didn’t train the dog to stay near the person, so they’re lazy 2. The stupid kid should’ve given the walker a better leash 3. The boy walking the dog should’ve grabbed his collar or something and signaled for the dog to keep walking instead of barking 4. Who the heck walks a dog at night? I’d just say heck no and walk him in the morning And for poor little Hazel, I have no excuse. I don’t even know what happened. I’ll just blame the old lady for being herself

My dog was kidnapped a year ago but a few months ago, we found him at a shelter missing a leg and his right ear had bites marks😭😭

I'm a pet sitter and this doesn't help me with always being afraid when I'm over a clients house alone at night. xD
