I've been playing Basketball since I was 8 years old and I'm 18 now when I shoot the ball my elbow comes out instead of keeping it straight I was wondering if you can give me some tips or drills to help me with that issue . Thanks in advance
No. As long as you don’t gather the ball and “float” it. You can take 100 steps with the ball legally, if you haven’t carried the ball, or picked it up. BUT, some HS refs might still call it because it looks funny haha.
There is no rule in any league, from hs NCAA FIBA or NBA, that limits steps while you have a live dribble. Your dribble is live until you kill it with some form of gather. AFTER you kill your dribble you have your 2 legal steps.
