3 SEIZURES I’VE RECENTLY HAD 

I remember watching your videos when i was 13 i binge watched them for hours and now im 20 and have a boyfriend with epilepsy i knew i loved him before i knew he had epilepsy and i stayed knowing of his condition and i love helping him watching your videos certainly helped me with knowing what to do when he has a seizure plus what hes told me on how to help him. thinking back now i think i was supposed to watch your videos because the universe was sending him to me, i now see your videos as a sign that me and him are meant to be im very thankful for your videos

I have been watching you for years now. I’m talking about YEARS. This year for the first time I ever experienced a seizure, unfortunately it was my boyfriend having a seizure. I never knew what the effects of being epileptic and being also on medication we’re going to be. I am so inspired by your story. We love your awareness.

Omg I felt the hypersalivation. Mine start in my temporal lobe and I always salivate so badly and I hate it. Especially if my throat starts spasming and I can’t swallow so I just sit there in my own saliva and it’s just ugh. You stay strong and maybe you should think about getting a service dog. I got mine and we’re training him ourselves until he’s ready enough to be specially trained in seizure alert (bc it’s expensive and I’d rather just pay for that). Regardless of if it’s PNES or epilepsy or any other seizure (I don’t know the details of your story but I’m assuming it’s epilepsy) the dogs can detect it. Plus even having a dog in general, even if it’s not specifically trained, once they’re around you a while they can detect when something is about to go down. My cats and my SDIT all can already pretty much alert me to an oncoming seizure and that alone is super helpful. Idk just something I wanted to recommend in case you hadn’t thought about it or something. We’re in this together girly and thank you for making content bc it genuinely makes people like us feel a little more normal and considerably less alone 💙💜

Hi I'm a fellow epileptic. I've watched a video or 2 of yours but this one while watching the 1st seizure made me tear up. Idk why but I have decided after 3 yrs and feeling like I've done enough to give a diet change. I'm going to try the more plant based whole food route and hope to record my journey like you do yours. You never cease to amaze me how well you do through every seizure. Has your neurologist explained why your seizures are more frequent during your menstrual time of the month? That makes me curious. I wonder if that is common for women who have seizures? It makes me so sad that you still have them. You are in my prayers for you to be free of them forever one day soon.

My niece had seizures for a while she just had a surgery where they removed part of brain that was The " bad part" that causes them. Just started watching your channel, I know you want to do it natural but maybe look into other options? Your a brave strong lady and I am so sorry your going through all this. I thought I was the only one who had more seizures on my period! Omg I’m not alone!

I have seizures too and used to work EMS. Just a little advice for your safety, make sure if you've asked people to rub your neck during your seizures ( I'm assuming to activate your vagal response) they know not to rub your jugular. It can damage it and also cut off oxygen to your brain making the seizure worse.

Hi. I got my seizures during my period under control with the use of an IUD device or loop and extra medication two days before my period and the first two days of my period. I was reluctant to make use of an IUD, but I was at my wits end with seizures during my period. Extra meds alone didn't work, so my gynae suggested the IUD because it keeps your hormone levels steady. I take 5mg Urbanol as soon as I wake up in the mornings and then the Lamotrigine at 7am. I keep careful track of my cycle and usually know when my period is due to start. Two days prior (or sometimes three days prior to my period) I wake up feeling strange, then I usually check my diary and discover that I am due to start my period soon. Then I take an extra 5mg of Urbanol. That helps me get through my period seizure free and I don't feel as terrible as I do without it. Sometimes my period isn't exactly on time, but that specific strange feeling I get, usually predicts that my period is close by. Sometimes I wait until 9am before I take the extra dose of Urbanol, just in case I feel a bit better and don't need it. I don't know what medication you take and what you do or don't do during your period already, but seeing that the IUD and extra Urbanol worked for me, I think it is worth mentioning and hope that it can somehow help you too

I mean no harm when I make this suggestion ok ! My mom stop having seizures when she started using cannabis,yes cannabis! If it's not against any personal reasons? Please try edibles or tea or smoking for medicinal reasons I'm sure it will help you too! Natural is best not pharmaceuticals. I pray for you to recover soon. God Bless YOU 🤗🙏

Dissolvable zofran helps under tongue the the nausea before and sometimes after for me. Life saver from the hovering over the toilet or can after I’ve seizures.

Been watching for a while, I also know it's probably not okay to say this but because I'm a knob I'm going to say it anyway. These look less severe than some of the ones I have seen in the past that you've had(I could be completely wrong of course). I know it's not ideal to have any and I am sorry you have to go through it at all. But I hope there is some improvement and all the best going forward, I hope you find some respite eventually. I'm sure youve heard it but you should look into some THC/CBD products to help with your siezures and hats off to you with the way you approach and embrace them and don't let it get you down its amazing stay strong keep up the fight.

From a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the worst. What is the anxiety you feel before and during a sezure?

Once I didn't have attacks for 4 years and once for 2 years but recently 4 in a day. Epilepsy is not a disease, it's a curse. Still I have travelled about 60 countries and I invite you to read my articles and see my photos. With certain things you might not agree but it is interesting. How about: - 100mg of Lamotrigine at 10am - 100mg of Lamotrigine at 6pm - 50mg of Keppra at 10pm Would your neurologist agree with me? Have you tried that?

cant say i know how you feel i have grand mal seizures I've had them at work,outside been under control with meds i am taking i pray they find the right type of meds so you dont have to go through this

I'm so sorry this is happening to u I was diagnosed with seizure disorder and I take topiramate for it. I get what I call seizure headaches and those are headches that make me feel so weak that my body shuts down and I end up shaking and then a seizure if I don't take pain killers.

What kind of epilepsy do yo have? I have photosensitive epilepsy.
