3 weeks after I delivered my daughter and still recovering from that - I too woke up with lots of pain and spent a day throwing up and feeling miserable and having to take care of my 3 year old and nursing my newborn. Finally went to the hospital and yep I had appendicitis. My husband was working away from home so I had to have my mother-in-law take the kids overnight and have surgery alone . It was an awful thing but I remember waking up to my husband being there and so grateful that it was over. As soon as I got off the medication I could nurse my daughter again and all was well. Glad they got it out before it ruptured too. You are so brave Ashton! I hope you are healing fast! I can totally understand your experience! ❤

As soon as you started talking about all the symptoms appendicitis was the first thing that came to mind and I actually had my own little scare with that in May when I was told to go to the hospital for similar stomach issues which was terrifying for me at the age of 25. Hi Ashton! I know your parents are so proud of you, with how brave you were, during such a painful, scary ordeal. I had a similar experience Ash. But, my appendicitis attack happened in school, in the middle of math class! Like you, I had warning pains a week before with nausea but it passed. You are very lucky that you only have small little scars. My scar looks like the doctor jumped in, lol, that’s how big my incision is! I was in the hospital for ten days! Like you, everyone was so nice and kind to me. But you Ashton, always have the biggest smile and the best attitude that I have ever seen with everyone, in your family. And yes, it is because you have learned through the modeling of your grandparents and your Mom and Dad. You are ALL so wonderful and blessed. Please stay as sweet as you are now! ❤

First of all, I’m so glad that Ashton is OK. That must’ve been very scary for you when you’re so many miles away from your family and then he has an emergency. Every place you’ve been in New York City I’ve been there as well because my brother lives in Manhattan and I love walking in Central Park. And finally happy birthday Justin.

Love a Cornish pasty. I didn't expect surgery either, I was supposed to have a simple cardiac cauterization but had to have surgery instead. But when you have to do what you have to, you face it with all the courage you can. Looks like Landon taught him well. 😺

Poor Ashy! So many things go wrong when you are on vacation! SO glad they caught it in time. My friends appendix burst and all that poison went thru out his body! He was in the hospital quite a long time, almost died! Glad you are home now and Ashy is getting better! Give a special kiss and hug to your parents and Justin's mom for getting Ashy to hospital and taking special care of him. Bet they weren't expecting anything like this to happen while they were taking care of the kids!
