Girl, that would be a dream come true for this family right here! I watch y'all's videos everyday and whenever Steven hears Titus, he pays full attention 🤣🥰
You and Steven are adorable. You are a beautiful example that marriage can be a wonderful thing. I feel like there is a lot of negativity around marriage and committing to someone. If anyone believes true love doesn’t exist they should watch your videos. ❤️
That would be me, lol. I'm from/live in the south(Arkansas) and don't like grits, lol. To me, it's like grit, lol. I kinda feel that way about someone not liking cream cheese, lol. Love a good cheese cake with 🍒 on top .
I love Gracie Lou’s big eyes looking at you when she wants her cheese! Steven’s recipe for shrimp and grits looks delicious! In fact all of your recipes looked delicious! I love Steven’s comment about Titus Moss! I too am a fan of The Moss Family. It’s good to have fun, enjoyable wholesome vlogs for everybody to enjoy, without being rude! Thank you for sharing your recipes, my family loves the ones I know they will like.
Please show Steven in more of your videos. I love watching Steven cook. You have a amazing husband. You are so lucky. I love your videos and have made several of your recipes. Keep up the great work.
First of all , i love how you say boil . I would listen to southern people talk all day long , i love it . Second, i think someone may be coming over the cream cheese side lol . My husband loves lasagna but i only make it for his birthday and fathers day , next time we will have to try this and see what he thinks . Thank you Tabby !
Gracie Lou is the cutest kitty I have seen in a long time…She makes me smile every time I see her on camera…Steven cracks me up a lot…You guys are the best and I love all your videos
Hi guys, just fyi, if you use the shrimp shells and saute them in some butter for a couple of minutes. These gives you an extreme shrimp taste and you don't waste the shells. This from a cajun cook. Love your videos.
My stores here have whipped cottage cheese. It is totally tasteless, but adds the creamy smoothness of cream cheese in dinner recipes….without the musty🤣🇨🇦❤️
Love you guys! Steven in the Making...lolol he's a bit of a messier cook than you are Mandy 🤣🤣 Who doesn't adore the Moss family? They're so awesome...a day without Moss Family TV is like a day without sunshine 🌞
I am so fortunate because I have a "Steven" too. He pretty much loves everything I make as long as I avoid things I know he doesn't like. We have been enjoying your recipes so much!!!❤️
What if you did shrimp and grits as the starter and the lasagna is the main course? Maybe cut the shrimp & grits in half? It looks like it would be easier to cut that one and a half than the lasagna. Plus if you did both dishes you would have enough for leftovers for the next day. Just trying to be a helpful community member and offer a suggestion.
Mandy try this one...... Wide egg noodles cooked, can of diced tomatoes, small can of tomato sauce, 1 1/2 tbsp. of green pepper, hamburger cooked and drained, 1/2 c. sour cream, 1/2 of a chunk of cream cheese, 1/2 c. cottage cheese and 1/2 c. shredded cheese your favorite. Mix and put in oven for 20 minutes on 350. Do not change the green pepper amount it will change the flavor. This is my daughters favorite (she's 37). We call it simple lasagna it will make 2 small casserole's and I always share with you know who!!!!! Thanks for the shrimp and grits recipe we here in Minnesota don't make this on a regular basis.
Just wanted to congratulate you on all the videos you put up. I find them quite entertaining and of course very cute and informative. I like the fact that you’re detailed and you give information that is very crucial. It helps someone like myself who is blind to actually go beyond my cooking repertoire to try new recipes! And I get a kick out of your kitty cat even though I don’t know what she looks like she sounds cute. And I get a total kick out of all of your little bloopers that you have towards the end of the video. You guys are just so adorable
That’s real neat Mandy when a woman does get a break from cooking any meal. Awesome job that your hubby will do the cooking. Even I appreciate this. Thank your hubby for me. Way to go Steven. Bet it’s good.
A secret to cooking grits…if you don’t get them salty enough in the water it’s very hard to get them salted at the plate. Salt the water just until you taste it on the spoon. And yes shrimp and grits need creole seasoning like Tony Chachere’s or Old Bay for lots of flavor. Ricotta cheese is very good with this too and you could mix it with chicken broth as well with the lasagna recipe. I am going to try tabby’s recipe first. And yes I talk the entire time I’m cooking. Turns out I can have a pretty good conversation with….me! Thanks again for some meal inspiration. God bless
This is a great one y’all! I laughed so much when you said “Just like Gordon Ramsey without the cussin’!” 😂 I am definitely trying the shrimp and grits- it’s something I’ve been a bit afraid to make! Thanks for giving me some inspiration and courage! 🌻🤓
Hi Mandy. I really enjoyed this! I have been waiting for Steven to cook! “Steven in the Making”😂😂 LOVED it! You have the best recipes. Thanks for sharing as always 💕
I am a recent subscriber and have to tell you how much I enjoy your channel. I really like the simple, tasty recipes and how much your husband loves your cooking. Thanks for sharing!
Right there with you about not using oven & getting another dish dirty. Something like that will cook just as well on stove top and melt cheese great. Can't wait to try that one!
Great looking lasagna, I need to make that version! At first I couldn't understand why you didn't want Steven to see what you were doing but when I heard cream cheese I knew! Thank you for sharing this with us!!
Am I the only one who spreads the cheese mixture on each individual piece of lasagna before I lay it in the pan? It just seems easier to me than trying to spread it across all of the noodles with a spoon. That recipe looks delish!
Happy Friday Mandy and Family. I absolutely love the Moss Family. I also love to hear them sing.. That Lasagna looks Delicious. I'll definitely be making it. Enjoy your Weekend. God Bless Y'all. Love From Indiana.
Hahaha Gracie Lou's energetic response to "do you want Velveeta?" Cracked me up!!! Agree no oven needed! I'm excited to make shrimp and grits! Thanks for the reminder. 😁 Small note it's tastier to use actual dry sherry, (wine section of the grocery store) those cooking wine versions usually in the vinegar section (for a reason) just aren't as good. And it lasts forever so even if you don't use it often it won't go to waste. 💜 Love you guys!
Miss Gracie Lou, she loves some of that cheese 🧀 too❣️ No matter the dish you put it in, she loves it. She is such a special little girl and she has no idea how much she’s loved and by how many people she’s loved 🥰.
The shrimp and grits. Oh my! They look wonderful. I loved watching Steven cook. He is so funny 😂. Tabby’s lasagna looks delicious and easy to put together. Thanks Mandy and Steven
What a great surprise to have Steven taking a ture at he great recipe of one of my favorite dishes. Great job Steven. Also loved the other two recipes you shared. Thank you .
Only had Grits once when I was visiting in Kentucky. I would make this recipe and use it over Polenta. I don't eat red meat so I would use Ground Turkey Breast in your other 2 recipes. Rao's Marinara is fantastic so I'm sure the flavor was great...all 3 recipes look tasty and recipes that I would make frequently. Thank you for sharing!!
As if Friday's weren't good enough already we get a MITM Winner Dinners upload with a bonus appearance of the "critic" Steven as guest chef! I'm doing that post before the video is done thing - I'm guessing "someone" snuck some cream cheese into a dish that isn't a dessert.
Sooo. Philadelphia used to make mixin cream cheese flavors. They only had them for a couple years and they had recipes in the packaging. I think Tabby got her recipe from there. Once Philadelphia stoped making those mix ins I figured out how to make that cream cheese mix with chicken broth and garlic powder & Italian seasoning with parm. Good stuff. I make a baked penne with droplets of that mix. 😋
Hi guys 👋 wow what a surprise it's nice to see the men cooking too once in a while it changes it up a little not that I don't like seeing you cook Mindy you're the cutest thing in the world🌼🤗 all right just want to say how y'all doing keep, the good recipes coming from Ingrid Anna from the Amish Country God bless you all see you all ❤️🙏😇✝️👋
Great recipe ideas. May try the shrimp this week. I usually make my lasagna with cottage cheese, may try with cream cheese. To mix with chicken broth, I would pop the cream cheese in the microwave for 30 seconds to soften, easier to mix.
Thanks Tabby and Mandy! I have been searching for a ricotta free lasagna recipe all my adult life (that's a long time). Y'all came thru for me; can't wait to try your recipe. Looks soo good, yay!!
Omgoodness you guys, I love y’all and I love me some Moss Family TV as well. They’re so cute and I’m so tickled to know you watch them too. Love their music 🎶 and Titus, he’s got some quick wit for sure❣️
Nothing sexier than a purdy man in the kitchen cooking, and girl you've got yourself a purdy man. I love you guys. 🥰 Gracie is adorable as always. We use dollops of sour cream in our lasagna instead of ricotta and it's creamy perfection. ❤ I love your videos. Keep em comin!
We made the sloppy joe casserole but i had to adjust. We used beef broth and i did not have velveeta so i used canned cheese soup. It was delicious ! My husband is not a fan of the manwich sauce but we had some in the cupboard, i thought why not. He loved the end result . Thank you !
I made the one that goes in the oven last night for dinner but used two cans of tomato soup and put it in the oven of course with extra cheese. It was delicious! Going to try Tabby’s lasagna next.
Oh man that lasagna looks delicious! So does that shrimp and grits! Steven done a great job at making the roux! Thats not an easy thing to do for alot of people! But us southerners have to know how to do it if we want to have our gravy! Lol! I'm not sure how I didn't get my notification for this video, but I didn't. I'm sure glad I found it! Have a blessed night!
We made homemade Lasagna in July for my self and our grown son for our birthdays, and my husband helped me as I had gotten out of the hospital after being there for almost 1 week. We use those no boil layer noodles, I was worried the dish wouldn’t turn out as I hadn’t ever used these types of noodles for the lasagna. Oh my goodness Mandy, other Lasagna dish turned out perfect. I was blown away. I had made a fresh garden salad, Green Beans and Corn mix for another vegetable dish and Amish Sour cream Cornbread for our Saturday dinner for our birthdays. My hubby bought us a Bundt cake to celebrate with. It all made it special for us to enjoy in our supper. I’m planning to trying 2 of your dishes. 1 is the bow tie pasta with the Sloppy joe mix. I’m excited. Thanks Mandy for your video. You guys are awesome. Hugs.
That Sloppy Joe dish looks great. I think you were right in not putting it in the oven. I find that pasta dries out if it isn’t completely covered in the oven. I think finishing it on the stove top was the way to go.
I get not wanting to do more dishes but cheese topping is just better in the oven. I would use a pan with metal handles that can go in the oven. I've also seen where people wrap the handles in foil to make them oven proof...
I would like to see a video were he does not like the food and he can actually give his honest opinion without being interrupted and what would actually make them better to his liking thats a video i like to watch.
Thank you for sparking my love and joy of cooking again. I was in a rut then I found your videos. I have subscribed and been going through the videos for ideas. In my crock pot now is crack chicken and I can't wait to try it ☺️
I'm very picky about my lasagna. I've had to make for a few families and I'm an old man from SC. I, usually, use Ricotta cheese in mine. I know people who use cottage cheese, but not I. I'm thinking about trying the lasagna recipe and see how it goes. And, I will be trying the shrimp and grits. I love grits and shrimp, they were made to be together. Love watching your videos, keep up the good work.
Rob: I loved your video and plan on making the shrimp and grits it looked amazing. The Lasagna looked great too and I need to try that too. Also Steven did a great job cooking the shrimp and sauce for the shrimp and grits. . 🙂❤️💜🧩🍒🦋
