@CurlyChemistry for me I noticed dry patches on my scalp and bumps in those areas, and in those eras the hair is kind-of thinning and not growing as much. What do you recommend of how to fix this ?
I wish there was a product line dedicated to fine, coily/curly hair. A lot of the products on the market for our curls are sometimes too heavy for fine strands.
I wish there were a fragrance-free, essential oil-free haircare line specifically for type 4 hair that treats conditions like seborrheic dermatitus, psoriasis, eczema, etc. Something affordable and easily accessible with actives to treat various conditions, while also replenishing the hair with moisture. The line would contain soothing & calming ingredients, like aloe and colloidal oatmeal. A simple, fragrance-free version of Blue Magic with just petroleum, lanolin, lecithin, & olive oil would be spectacular! The market is seriously lacking in products that cater to people with type 4 hair with sensitivities and dermatological conditions.
*GREAT ADVICE!!* Taking care of your scalp will prevent itching, irritation, fungi, and bacteria and prevent itching so you won’t have the urge or need to scratch it. ❤❤❤
I want a product that takes me from curly to bone straight and back to curly. A product that's not affected by weather or temperature. This would be ideal
To answer your question on one product I wish existed on the market is an ayurvedic hair grease that is good for the scalp and hair made with waxes like beeswax or candelilla waxes and ayurvedic ingredients like amla, fenugreek, hibiscus, and brahmi. would also love some ginger added to it so it would be scalp stimulating. Another product I would like is a hair gel that is a mix of gels found in nature like aloe vera gel, chia gel, okra gel and flaxseed gel. I think combining them together would allow for a wide range of benefits
More moisture deep conditioners for type 4 hair with slip. Shea moisture manuka honey is not available where I live. And that is one awesome product when it was available.
Now that I am starting to get gray hair around my hairline, I would like a product that will keep them from breaking, since that is the only place my gray hair breaks. I have heard from other women that have the same problem.
Hi Tonya. Do you have a video on sensitive scalp help. I was unable to find it. I'm sure you do because you're so great about educating us about our hair.
Hi Tonya, can you suggest any curly girl friendly hair gels for slick back styles that are (alcohol free, flake free) and soft to medium hold. No coconut? Blessings~
Hey Tonya 👋 my gray strands shed more than I anticipated 🤔 however my hair is healthier since watching your channel & I will continue to follow your suggestions 💝
This is great information. We forget its scalp health that produces hair. I help men get their high school hair line back naturally on my channel who suffer with male pattern balding. It starts with scalp health.
I have very fine curly dry hair and shampoos do a number on me and I always shed so much when I shampoo. I wish they made shampoos with MORE SLIP AND LESS STRIPPING!
